I had 27 long years of that. And I'm still doing it in my sleep LOL so glad I retired from it. Lucky you you even had the good tools. All we had was the bars.bead breaker slime. sledgehammer. And really good air compressor.
For wheel loader tires? I have one in alaska the tire place in our small town got bought out by a company who now only does his own stuff and the traveling tire truck from Anchorage over 300 miles from my town won't answer calls and stopped coming here. We really need to do it ourselves I'm trying to find out how is there a place we can buy these tools?
I am so glad that I ran across this video. Besides learning that I lack all of the specialized tools, it's much too dangerous for a beginner. I'll be calling the tire shop in the morning.
Hey bro great job I work in the tire business also and at times I come back to ur videos for reference and u have taught new things in my career thanks bro keep up the good work
I have learnt a different way to remove a locking ring, lax in cleaning the o ring and locking ring grooves thought certainly not to my standards anyway. but I did enjoy watching your video you make it look so easy, your a true rubber hugger
@@masontyler479 Takes a good bit of patience and skill to do 20.5R25 & 23.5R25s out of a service truck, the boom trucks don't usually need to be used until you get to 26.5R25's and up.
I'm sure he understands when I say that this one was a good example of what you hope for when you get a OTR service call. Some rookies don't use soap / lube on the outer beads of the tire and it makes things a lot worse for the next guy to change it.
Mad respect man. You make it seem easy I had never seen someone change those tires without taking them off the truck but with the right tools and experience you make it seem so easy. Not to mention the tires are fckn heavy!!
Thanks for all of these videos they really help. Just got done putting on a tire on a 25 wheel off of a Volvo 6x6. Took me about 2 hours to figure it out but I’ll be way faster the second time.
Hey bud, I'm trying to mount a 20.5-25 on a case mw24c loader. I've never done this before. When I air it up it seems the gap in the lock ring is too big, about an inch, and the o-ring bulges out there and loses air. Am I missing something simple? I cleaned the rim and ring really well with a wire brush. Could the lock ring not be circular? Could my o-ring be too think?
hey man that rite there is how I do it, up to a 26.5 25 bias. honestly man 100% to the t on how I do Otr by hand. oh difference is I have never used that bead tool, I've used a 3 inch wide strap and I must say the strap is a lil quicker, give it a try bro if u haven't already used it which u most likely have. much respect to you brother, less then one percent of the world's population can do what you and I do, keep it up that big hand truck will come one day. be safe
that yellow tool you use to push the beadspan back is so badass ive never seen it before. looks way easier than a hammer and vise grips like ive been using
I really enjoying to watch your videos , you got great skills! Its a dirty heavy job to handle tires all day , but sure hell its fun :D i work in a tire shop in sweden :)..
Nice job, i think the beads broke a little too easy... You need steel toe boots and glasses when using the air blower. I like that tool for pushing the flange back to make room for the new o-ring. I never had anything like that before. Nothing brings greater joy on a job when the beads come off that easily! LOL I spent 20 years in tire business, then walked away, now I sell insurance!
I have a Clark Michigan Wheel Loader 125B. I'd imagine it would be the same, or almost the same as this Wheel Loader in your video?? 23.5-25 is what I need to replace on it.
Typical tire rip off scam! The guy changes two tires in 5 min and charges the customer for over an hours labor..... LOL kidding,Nice job ! You make it look so easy, a pleasure to watch a pro at work Kudos to you and thx or posting vid!!!!
Hey just wondering. I noticed you don’t have a hydraulic tailgate in the back of your truck. How do you load and unload the otr tires on location I just rigged up my own tire truck and I don’t have the tailgate either
It is so amazing to think that basically all it holds air in that is a tiny little rubber o-ring and the only thing that holds that tire on that rim is a little bitty tiny metal ring I'm so actually shocked I guess
Please help! I work on front end loaders and I really need to know how to change the tires but without having a "ring master" from Esco like you do. What is the cheapest set of tools I can buy to get it done?
hey whats the part no. for that push tool you were using on the flange? been doing OTR for 2 years now and have always done by hand but this would make my life very easy.
The guy is very professional. Are the split rim tires still danger? The olds one could take your head right off from the pressure on the ring if they let loose.
Man you make it look ez dawg! I always had the stubborn ones where they are stuck on there and even had trouble with breaking them from the back with a bead breaker.
@@TripleATireService Thanks for the video. I finally purchased an Ecco Ringmaster. Man! I wish I had that 45 years ago. It put the fun back into changing loader tires. I got a problem. I’ve been having a problem with o-rings on 14.00r25 earthmover tires with 3 piece rims. I grease the shit out of the tire beads, the o-ring and where the tire contacts the rim. Whenever there’s a large load on the tire the o-rings starts pissing out air where the lock ring gap is. Any idea what’s going on?
Late response sorry. Dumb question is are you using the right size oring? I had a similar issue but mine came from defective orings. When the orings where made extra rubber was left on where it was seamed together.
good job. I never lube the o ring...ever. by the book. Put the O-ring in dry. lube the flange ring at the ring seat, with black Lube. only. also if you don't have this tool. You can stand to six by 8's. 5 foot tall on either side of the tire. use a ratchet strap to the loader and compress the tire in so you can work in between ratchet strap to load flange ring. o ring, and lock ring.
+Javier Maldonado I try to mount without taking the wheel off. I will make a video next time I come across that size. There is an older video on my channel of me changing one on a Terex reach forklift. Thanks for watching
TripleATireService i use that tool also... But I got a bit problem... Every time i try to push that ring the master ring always come out..(the part we put inside the rim) Do you know why...???
Mr dee, probably because your flange is jammed or stuk, try taking a short handle sledge hammer or a tire hammer and tap the flange while you're screwing in the ring master . it's probably cause the flange.
For all you followers always use jack stands according to weight standards,on a job like this loader use 20ton jack stands,Mr Tony Mullins is right you never use a jack as a jack stand. Thank You.

I've changed a lot of off road tires in my time ,first time ever saw a ring master tool. Awesome tool wish had one when i use to change them.
Same here.
If you can afford, or don't have that ring master tool. You can use a strap binder and two 6x6 blocks On the sidewall to push the tire in
wow thank you, I now know I can buy tires and have someone come change them. You are awesome
