Superbly built, superbly detailed and superbly operated. You dont often see layouts as excellent as this. Well done to all concerned.

This must be one of the best 4mm lines in the UK at the moment. The modelling is of the highest order as is the weathering of stock qand buildings. You can tell where it is supposed to be without a train in sight. Really superb and it works so well too!

So glad I found this channel. If em became more available here in NZ I'd like to make the switch. Love the realism both of your track and urban design, and the make up of your trains. Thanks for taking the time to make these brilliant videos Kier, a real asset to our hobby.

A great layout, avoids the problem of tight curves which don't look right. The scenic work is very realistic and on camera truck it is like the real thing. One of my most favourite youtube featured layouts to watch operating.

Great layout indeed. Not just nice to see the scales length trains, but also great to see the platforms are not very thin and look like prototypical ones instead. Great scenery and good to see the level changes.

Great to watch another excellent video of your work Kier. Always impressed by your Hornsey Broadway layout, the stock that runs upon it, and the atmosphere you have created with it. All the best from Oz.

Aha, a real operational Model Railway, so much more interesting and realistic than these modern "Out of the packet DCC toy train sets", which exhibit total ignorance when it comes to operation, and seem to have no idea that railways operate to a book full of stringent safety rules !!! Hornsey Broadway encapsulates the best of modelling and prototypical railway operation. So definately gets the thumbs up from me. Keep the vids coming on your layout developments🤩.

Always liked this layout 👍🏻 It does remind me of my train spotting days in the 70s. Living in Manchester it was always fantastic getting a trip into London on the Manchester sleeper service and having a good train spotting in the London area. Cheers Stevie.

A work of art, my favourite layout since seeing it at Model Rail in 2018. Every inch of it captures the atmosphere of London in the 1970s. Thanks for the history - and allowing us to see some more trains running on your beuatiful layout. I see something new every time I watch footage.

Bravo Kier Hardy. Fabulous Layout and brilliant modeling! You model my favourite era as well as a wee-lad living in Chiltern Court London WI I live in Canada now, so model Canadian Pacific Railway ... but I do miss the BR Blue days.

Lovely video, took me back to watching the trains from the scaffold in Finsbury Park. Love to see a model of the Finsbury Park to Alexander Palace Northern heights line, used to walk the line as kids, never actually saw a train on it although I did know they used it for empty stock movements from Drayton Park to Highgate depot.

Fantastic insight in your past Kier. I saw Wibdenshaw at DEMU a years back. You managed to capture that grimy 70/80’s look superbly! 🙂 Always look forward to videos too.

Once exhibitions restart I would recommend keeping an eye out for Hornsey Broadway. It is good here and even better in real life. I can't think of another layout which has captured the London scene of the 1960/70s so well. A masterclass in the creation of atmosphere.

Stunning layout and I see you have Crepello's name plate on the wall; I was hauled behind the great Lady from Kings X to Newcastle and find myself looking out for models or old footage of her so this is a bonus.

Yes, using the old Ringfield motor unit from a donor Hornby Class 47. It can be seen running at the end of the December 2021 running session TH-cam videos (part 1 & part 2)
