Hello Dr Ryan, thank you for crafting such high yield videos and putting that much effort to come up with such a top notch content. I have one request to make here if you could please make a video based on tuberculosis like more detailed one regarding when to treat those patients ,when to defer ,how dentists can avoid contamination and which mask provide best protection and for how long we can use specific mask and what will be the best PPE for different transmissible conditions and additionally if the patient is accompanied with an interpreter (minor or adult) and when to consider them.As many of my friends asked me to focus on such clinically relevant information.

Question about the examples from the end of the video: Does a dentist *legally* have to disclose their positive HIV status to the patient? You made the distinction that the patient does not legally have to disclose, but you say here that a dentist "should" disclose. Thanks again!
Good question. I was careful with my words there, because it varies state to state! Some legally require a disclosure, and others do not.

Can transmission happen through urine and saliva??? Pls explain sir 🙏
The virus is not contained in and cannot be transmitted through saliva, sweat, or tears. Urine is a bit more contentious. Some sources say it contains the virus, however there is no confirmed case of transmission via urine.
Do I have to go to US to take INBDE exams ????
The INBDE can be taken only in the US and Canada and would require you to travel to one of those countries to take it.
