My daughter has been suffering from Lyme Disease/Chronic Fatigue for 11 years. About 6 months ago I was watching a documentary called “Root Cause.” Come to find out, her root canal tooth was causing her problems. We had it removed and she is healing. Don’t give up and keep searching for the solution!
I’ve had Lyme and co infections for years too. It wrecks your body. Almost lost my life to them.

So sorry to hear that your daughter has been suffering from Lyme. I also have chronic Lyme and I’ve had it since I was 15 years old (now I’m 34) and it’s not a fun disease at all 😔 I went 6 years undiagnosed the doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me. I was bed bound & in a wheelchair for 7 years. God is good though & got me out of the wheelchair years ago. I will definitely say some prayers for your daughter!
Walking this SAME journey. Lyme and other Co infections. Along with my husband and 23yr old daughter. Crazy. We all did Bee 🐝 venom therapy. They ARE A BLESSING.

Unfortunately most people don’t realize being a homeowner comes with the con of having to fix everything that goes wrong. It always happens in 3’s in my house for some reason. Just the upkeep can keep you busy for sure. Love the couch and continuing to pray for healing and answers for Carlin!

You may know this but in case you don’t, purchase a home warranty. It’s relatively cheap & with a small waiting period, it covers major expenses like these you mentioned on homes that aren’t brand new. It was suggested when I bought my house & I used it in my hvac. Great investment.

Mind you, my husband and I just paired down and have moved into a tiny home . We sold stuff and have given away stuff but yet we have had to buy stuff for our new tiny home. It seems as though it never stops.
We have tried out the set you are buying but since we have gone tiny we needed to go to plan B. I don’t think you will be disappointed in your choice.

Oh how I miss "Bringing up Bates!" I sometimes watch the old shows that are on TH-cam - including the "United Bates of America" episodes! I do greatly enjoy each of the children's TH-cam channels but it's just not the same....
Please don't misunderstand Evan - your videos have great content, superb editing and I truly love watching them. Thanks to you, I still feel up-to-date on your family but I miss knowing what's going on with Zach and Whitney and their littles, Michaela and Brandon, Torie and Bobby and their little ones (I didn't even know Torie was pregnant again until I just happened to catch a glimpse of her tummy in Alyssa's latest video!), Nathan and Esther (do they have any babies yet?), and of course the matriarch & patriarch of this AMAZING family, Kelly Jo and Gil, as well as all the siblings that still live at home. Is there any network that the family would consider working with on a new show? I would LOVE to organize a write-in campaign to try and get the network's attention. All of us out here who desperately miss this wholesome, genuine, inspiring, REAL family show would do just about anything to have all of you back again! Please, please, please let us know if the family wants to be back on the air and if so, what network are they hoping to connect with? ...... I promise you that your fans will do everything in our power to help make it happen!!!

I'm so sorry you're already experiencing some of the worst parts of homeownership! Once you have these issues resolved, I would strongly suggest a home warranty. I have a 5 year contract with Choice Home Warranty although there are many companies that offer this type of service. I simply found Choice to be the most reasonably priced for the coverage I wanted.
Lastly but perhaps MOST important .... I continue to pray for Carlin and your whole family. May God lead you to right doctor(s) that will figure out what is going on and offer a solution.

It’s beautiful. I’ve always wondered about the lovesac couches
I’m a new subscriber and enjoying you and your family. I’ve also watched your wife’s medical issues and see that she still doesn’t have an answer. I was watching another TH-cam video on medical issues that happened on TV. One was a girl in her 20’s that was ready to start singing and she didn’t look right and she walked off the stage and passed out. Her father says she passed out because at the age of 7 she was diagnosed with Vasovagal Syncope. Looked it up and most Drs diagnose symptoms as Epilepsy and treated as such. Signs are passing out and seizures with no known cause so they use Epilepsy meds. I looked it up and seems there is a way to test for it. It seems an subcutaneous injection of one ml normal saline, which caused asystole leading to hypoxia and consequently a typical tonic-clinic convulsion which would prove the patient has Vasovagal Syncope. I have never written online anywhere but thought this was important. Look it up and read for yourself. Hope this helps so you and your family can get back to enjoying your life and your beautiful wife has some answers.

I love the lovesac couches. We couldn’t afford it when we wanted new couches. And then we couldn’t find it when we needed new ones. But recently saw one in somebody’s house. It is neat. And talking to them it is the best one to move with.
Home warranty is the best. If you don’t have it you should look into it.
Our air conditioner condenser drained into our second bathroom upstairs. We were unaware of this. Our air stopped working upstairs and they found the drip pan was overflowing. They blew it out and when my mom went into my daughters bathroom there was gunk everywhere. It had clogged the drains and when we blew it out… it all came out of the drains in our bathroom sinks. If you have air and clogging issues this may be your problem. Just make sure you put towels over your drains before they try to blow it out. Our you will have a huge mess to clean up. We now do it ourselves every couple of years.

We decided to drop cable tv (especially after TLC dropped BUB) and are now an all-streaming tv family. I wait with baited breath for not only your videos but for each of the “Bates kids” updates and it feels like we really get to follow each of you along and see more of your lives that we would have seen in tv. I do miss the littles (Jeb, Callie, Judson, Addie, Ellie) and Mr. and Mrs. Bates. Love watching your families grow and leave your beautiful mark on a not-so-beautiful world. It gives me hope for the future of our country. Many prayers for your future and Carlin’s health! God’s grace upon you! ❤️

I have the love sac and I love it. I am a single older 50+ with two large goldendoodles and when it says you can take them off and wash them, it is true. Just make sure to let them air dry. I got that same color and could not say enough nice things about it except it is definitely harder to put the covers on than they say and I put it all together by myself, lol.

Glad you’re getting your laugh back Evan… it kinda faded and you had good reason. I pray Carlin adjust to meds and also pray the meds be temporary. Don’t give up .. the house is coming along and seems like her condition is not as bad as in the beginning. The Lord is still good and will carry y’all through. Read His word and find hope daily .🙏🏽🤗

Carlin and Evan, I have had so many health issues over the past 20 years. Some of them don't have "official" diagnoses. However, fortunately I am and have had all of my symptoms treated over the years by many doctors. I hear you both say I just wish we had a diagnoses so we can figure out to treat this. Be careful about expectations. They tend to set us up for being let down, frustrated, angry etc... I am NOT suggesting this is going to be Carlin's case. However, just for now, rest in the truth that our wonderful Heavenly Father has you in the palm of His hand. He is the Ultimate Physician and He's got this!!

Suggestion:. If you keep that stunning mirror, be sure to anchor the top to the wall with a child safety anchor. The same thing they make for dressers, TV's and other items a child could accidentally pull down on top of them. ❤️
Yes. That thing could easily kill a child if it tips.
Huge deal! My toddler pulled one over and it was scary, he lost front teeth along with everything else, and it traumatized him for a long time

Layla is so cute! As a kid I ran around the cow pastures barefoot. We sure had to watch where we were stepping! You need todo what we do when we need helped carrying or putting something together we bribe family and friends with a cookout with steak. I hope a diagnosis can be made soon. I have an rare autoimmune disease I have had like 20 years it has only been 3 yrs since a diagnosis. By the time of diagnosis I was on oxygen and had severe lung disease even though I never smoked at all. Plus I have Disautonomia from the same reason I was not treated so the Dermatomyositis was damaging my body even more. Sadly I could have been diagnosed years ago if my DR had realized my purple skin on my arms and face were the weird clue to be diagnosed. I bet you will find an answer soon.

The couch looks great. Very impressed although I am all in to "Girl Power"...well done ladies and Evan of course.
I have had symptoms identical to Carlin's since 2015. I have had two eeg's and of course, I did not have episodes myself. My last one was in June. I have alot falls with mine. I want to caution you about going up and down the stairs. In June of 2018, I had a fall down the stairs so bad, I fractured my right scapula, 7 right ribs and my right wrist. The wrist required surgery, I think alot of fractured wrists do. I felt fine when I start down the stairs and boom, I was at the bottom of the stairs unconscious. Thank goodness my sister was there. In February of 2020, I was going upstairs, felt fine and boom, I was at the bottom of the stairs. This time I fractured, might left wrist. Falls can be more serious than just fractured wrists. It could cause paralysis or death. That's why my kids(24,30,and 34) will not let use the stairs anymore and put my bed in the living. Please be safe. I am praying for you Carlin and your family. I know how hard this can be.
Your main drain stack is probably plugged, happened to us when we bought our house.
Just need to snake the main line.

We had that plumbing issue and it was septic tank problem, Called to get it pumped-problem solved
Our family has a Lovelace couch. There was 25 boxes and it took us 6 hours to install!
Evan, the tub and toilet backing up could be your septic. I don't know if you are on city septic or have your own tank but I have vast experience with this and there is a plumbing problem and either your septic is full or you have a blockage somewhere. Hopefully you have gotten an answer by now and it is fixed.

You might want to rethink the carpet on the stairs or carpet at all. We removed all of ours, and all of our allergies disappeared. Issues dissapeared.
