What a beautiful game, I did gave it a try once and stopped. These videos give that itch to revisit.
Tropico always did have a great sense of humour, plus the music ^w^ good times
Another game you might want to check out is "Workers and resources, soviet republic"
Essentially you manage a soviet micronation sometime around the 60s-80s with even more supply chain madness than anno, you need to transport your goods around with trucks, trains, cableways, airplanes, and barges. You also need to transport your workers with busses, trains, etc. The main goal is achieving self sufficiency, there aren't any competitors
