As an avid ark player with 5000 hours or so, and welyn being one of my favorite creators, this was extremely entertaining. Definitely need more ark content! You should collab with syntac or try out some pvp!

This put such a big smile on my face, seeing someones first experience in ark is really something special, just be careful if you ever go into pvp servers, the competitive nature of pvp and the grind to get up to the top really ruined ark for me but having fun in pve and taking your time is the best experience ark has to offer. Love to see you playing this and will definitely rewatch a lot of your videos after seeing how entertaining this was :D

lol no, arks pvp is buggy as all hell. It takes thousands of hours to get to a point where you can hit shots like somebody with 100 hours in rust. much better to just do slimy rat tactics like turret pvp and dinos.

As someone who is very experienced in this game it was very enjoyable watching you stumble through this. When he said “We tamed the pteradon by placing berries in his inventory.” I about lost it, pt’s are carnivorous.
My first time playing Ark was right after it launched on the PS4. I accumulated over 1000 hours on console and about another 300 on PC before quitting. I say I don't enjoy Ark now but man was it such a blast, if I could have the same experiences Welyn is now having, I'd trade almost anything for it. My first time playing was filled with ups and downs. I still remember trying to tame a level 20 spino at the mouth of the river that takes you to Green Ob, and it also drowning and then dying to a piranha and losing my green leather armor and a single pistol with around 30 bullets. I had spent so many hours on that and after dying there I quit for a week but I was hooked. The rest... is history. From small starts to giant bases, to big raids to small pike raids and being stomped on multiple times by all kinds of dinos. Man, Ark has a special place in my heart. I was too young to have Minecraft, perfect age to have Ark.

Quick tip if you go to your settings of your world (not in game) and go to advanced and scroll down a lot you will find show damage numbers, put that on and you can see way easier if you hit your target or not and for how much, you can also see if you headshot it or if you hit it in a weak spot.

Quick tip if you go to your settings of your world (not in game) and go to advanced and scroll down a lot you will find show damage numbers, put that on and you can see way easier if you hit your target or not and for how much, you can also see if you headshot it or if you hit it in a weak spot.
