Today as part of the #ShoppingWorldTour I am doing the 24 hour shopping challenge (inspired by my darling friends niki and gabi) and am going on a nonstop shopping spree in the city than never sleeps! But my twist is that I'm doing it alone...and with no budget :P

It’s easy in NYC because literally nobody is paying attention to you and there is far more stranger things going on. It’s the only city other than London where I can totally be me and so things like this and not be shy or have anxiety about it.

I wish I had Amber’s confidence and sense of freedom. To be unapologetically authentic and have fun under any circumstances! She wants things, she buys them, period. One thing to know about NYC especially when it comes to shopping is that the department stores usually look super elaborate all year around, but during the holidays….that’s when it explodes with beautiful decorations.

I just came across your video and loved it! I'm 50 years old and I'm originally from Queens, NY. Let's say you brought me back to being a young adult and doing this when I was in Manhattan. I loved staying at a hotel by myself, shopping and taking photos of everywhere I went (only had a camera back then and had to get the film developed) 😒 but dam I had a blast. I think everyone should do this at some point just get put there and have some fun alone, pamper yourself for a day or two.

As a new yorker, yes there are malls in NYC! manhattan and the other boroughs all have malls they are just not luxury stores. there is a mall around 34th with aeropostale, aldo, toy stores, and some affordable brands etc

I think it's a great example of vision and passion to see what Amber has become. I would be dishonest if I didn't comment here that if you have a mother that cares enough to send you a text and knows what your bank balance is, that kind of emotional support and possibly financial support can really make a difference. This comes from someone who doesn't have anything like that. Girls, if you're young and you have parents that love you, never underappreciate that.
