This is a masterfully crafted course...a little bit of attention will reveal that Professor Messer deliberately skips certain details on a topic because understanding those details requires other complimentary knowledge that has not been transmitted yet. And later on, when that complimentary knowledge has been transmitted, he goes through the work of explaining the previously omitted details that can now be grasped.
    Thanks a lot Professor Messer

I grew up in rural northern Alberta where we had satellite internet. The internet was always especially terrible when the weather was bad, which sucked because that's when I really wanted to use it. I remember wanting to watch the Wrath of the Lich King cinematic in HD back when TH-cam would buffer full videos instead of segments. I loaded the video and had to let the entire trailer buffer for about an hour to watch it all at once. Really helps me appreciate the fiber connection I have today!

I'm fascinated and how smoothly professor Messer will reference things we learned in previous episodes and the videos get more tech savvy but still user friendly. Can't wait to take my exam this week.

Thanks for the video. What are the speeds for line-of-sight? Are fiber cables the same as fiber optic cables?
