Bobber Build 1993 Honda Shadow VT600 - Part 18

I am back! In today's video, I will show you how to install TJ Brutal Customs bolt-on battery box as well as their pressio bolt-on fender mount for our custom rear fender. We will be using the front fender and customizing it to become a rear fender! I will also show you how to install a rivet nut in order to have a nice clean install of the battery box. No welding is required in this video!
Stay tuned for the next videos! We will take care of the solo seat bracket, cut the rear pegs from the frame, and more.

You think if i use the whole Fender without cutting It and use a sissy bar would be able put a seat on the Fender for a passenger?

Great question!
I think the first thing to look at is the clearance of the tire and the bars. I don’t think the OEM front fender is wide enough so the bars would interfere with the rear tire (if you have the bars and fender that’s pretty quick to check).
In term of withstanding the weight of a person, that’s a tricky one. The OEM fender was not design for this type of use. If it was me I would still try and worst case I would just buy an aftermarket one. When I mean try, it is basically getting it installed and tested in the garage sitting and bouncing on it. I recommend filming when testing so that you can review the video and see if any movement or bending happens while sitting on it.

Awesome thanks for the reply the sissy bar Is from a brand named tc bros and its actually bended like its not like a straight triangle has some type of spacers for clearence but yeah im gonna try that thanks!!
