Crime off because getting to Mars would require checks before hand and also because it would be stupid to commit a crime because you would have to go through security before you came back to earth!😂 Also put a staff building in the ship so it's like the staff are flown back to earth for shift changes ect!👍
Great work as always if you decide to continue the series the next scenario could be a run down over grown abandoned theme park and your job is to clean it up n get it back to its former glory
Maybe a few obstacles in the terrain you have to build around--a fumerole or a pinnacle or something like that? I also think one or two non-corner "repeater" stations for the force field barriers would help further delineate the borders, plus perhaps a "staff only" gate in one of them to some sort of backstage area loosely defined and going into a cave?.
You have it backwards. On a low-gravity world like Mars, you'd actually be able to build higher, especially with the super-low wind pressure. It's on high-gravity worlds like Kepler-62e that you'd need height restrictions.
Plus, rollercoasters work on gravity. With lower gravity worlds like Mars, you need to build a higher rollercoaster for the coaster to have the same potential energy as one on Earth.
I've just been wondering what a roller coaster on a rotating space station would feel like: Since gravity is based on centripetal force, height determines gravity, and on a roller coaster... Yeah. Those coriolis effects oughtta make for a unique experience and some sick layouts.
You could explain the trees as Mars after it was terraformed, producing oxygen naturally, and the force-field around the park is just protecting it from any more meteorite strikes like the craters suggest.
Hey make sure you leave the alien plants unlocked so we can duplicate them around the park. Or if you don't want the ones by the gates being messed with place some unlocked ones a bit farther away.
love the lore about the protective shields & it looks great. Turning off terrain will definitely be a challenge with the craters & the way pathing is wonky. As a scenario player I will suggest that if you do something like park revenue you don't make it too high. Its extremely boring when you finished everything & your sitting there just watching the game run to make money. It takes a long time so putting time limits on amounts is rough also.
This looks AMAZING! I love the ramp. I agree with Andy Wright that it looks a bit like the Bifrost in the Thor movies :D The force field causing the height restriction is also a great idea. I'm not sure how the different gravity would affect people. Maybe the staff gets tired very easily. Is that even an option? I haven't played with the scenario editor yet.
Ok...why are there gun turrets for a theme park?! Haha. Little intense... Love that light bridge, though, and thanks for lowering that UFO, haha. Much more "realistic" now! :P
I adore your force field generators, but that's only half of what you need. You gotta build some atmosphere pumps - just splash some smoke machines around the area!
And that radiation ain't gonna shield itself. It should be safe for just a park visit, and we can assume the shield filters that out. But what happens when a solar flare hits those generators?
Actually all guests have to take rad pills before exiting the ship. The most common side effect is ravenous thirst, but it's a small price to pay to avoid being slagged by solar rays.
I'd suggest putting the trees on steam, if they're not already. There's nothing more frustrating than being unable to continue the theme due to scenery locks
You should ban all water rides and pipshot water (and if you’re locking terrain, that locks water, right?) because as we all know, you shouldn’t touch the water on Mars. Not one drop.
Why would low gravity mean you have to build lower? Really you should be increasing friction or something to make height more meanignful. Although i do like the idea of also limiting height because of the force field.

I had that thought too. Though I really like the idea that there are height restrictions because the force field can only go so high.
Ye it doesn't make sense to build lower due to low gravity.

Love the ramp, after seeing Thor tonight it's giving me serious Bifrost vibes :)
I have hardly touched the game since 1.4 came out because I just haven’t had time. I can’t wait to play this!
You have such a great imagination. I love the force field generators, nice touch!
Obviously, the trees are cardboard cutouts or hologrammes to make the area look bigger than it is! :P
Ok...why are there gun turrets for a theme park?! Haha. Little intense... Love that light bridge, though, and thanks for lowering that UFO, haha. Much more "realistic" now! :P
Just in case, I mean it’s new territory, haha

Looking forward to get my hands on this scenario :)
If you can't remove the trees, can you build up hills outside the park boundary that would screen them?
Is the parks slogan - a mars a day helps you work, rest & play.

Gorgeous!!!
Wow, that looks so great! 😨 I would have loved to make something as good as that! 😔
I love this! You always do such a great job :-)

Although i do like the idea of also limiting height because of the force field.
Everyone’s hungry but they have limited food shops and staff
Is the sci-fi theme because you didnt do it in geektropolis
You should build a bio dome around the park so the guests can breathe oxygen
Even in crio sleep, I dont think your bones could handle being thousands of years in space.
Make it cost more to build different coasters as it would take more money and man hours to do such a task.
