Hi, I love the idea with the beddies. I did notice in the video that you covered the bed and the topper that you added with the beddies set. My question is… if you include the original mattress with the topper, what happens when you raise the bed and the bolsters separate from the mattress? Are you including the entire bed in the bed dies? It looks that way from the video. I just want to make sure this will work before I order the sheets, thank you.
The Beddy's are only wrapped around the topper on the ends (secured with bed suspenders) and tucked into the edges of center piece to keep things looking tidy. So when the bed goes up, the bolsters stay in the garage area and the edges of the topper/Beddy's go up and hang down across the ceiling a bit at full height. When the bed comes down, the topper settles over the bolsters naturally. :) We love this set up, and pretty much can't imagine anything else!
Thank you for this! Very helpful :) Ordering the mini storage nets now! Also have the bed step; well worth it. At 2:22 it looks like you have additional storage nets on the interior of the doors. I.e. there are two nets above the stock net. Do you mind sending where you bought those from? Would love to get those as well. And did you hang those using an adhesive? Appreciate it and cheers!
Sorry we missed this comment earlier! Those nets are from Amazon and come with velcro + adhesive. I wouldn't recommend storing anything super heavy in there, but great for easy access to knickknacks! www.amazon.com/dp/B076GX24PK
Great videos, I really like the idea of using Beddy’s. Before ordering I want to be sure I completely understand how they work. It appears you only attach them to the 3” mattress topper with the suspenders between the factory mattress and the topper- is that correct? That way the bolsters stay in place when raising the bed, the excess that covered the bolsters on both ends just folds downward. When lowering the excess on each end just catches the bolsters and slides into place. The new Revels have a much improved mattress and may not need the topper but it appears that the Beddy’s will only work with one. I can see how the suspenders will really help hold things together on a flimsy 3” topper Thanks for your ideas
You've got it right! The suspenders run under the topper and we connect the Beddy's just to the topper. To keep things looking tidy, we also tuck the sides of the Beddy's around the center mattress, but that's just personal preference.
Great Video - love all your tips - do you remember which size beddie sheets you ordered? Your link unfortunately does not work - would love to have you get a credit...
Thanks for letting us know about that link! I have updated in the description, but here's our referral link that gives you $50 off your purchase: prz.io/zLNaLKOFR We got the full-sized Beddy's (with the minky lining to offer more 4-season comfort!). Didn't mention it in the video, but we also use these bed suspenders to keep the Beddy's securely on the mattress topper when it goes up and down with the Euroloft: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JKT7L9S. Of course, these are optional, but makes keeping a neat bed way easier!
@@AdventureswithHermes Thanks for the quick response - we are debating if we should buy a 2" or 3" topper and what size - full-size and cut it or QueenSize....
@Dirk Liepold yes, we leave everything on the bed when it goes up (just moving pillows more to the center to avoid getting stuck in the bump-outs). We happened to have a queen topper on-hand, which meant cutting allowed us to get in all the nooks and crannies of the funky shaped mattress. But a full topper would require much less (if any?) cutting down to fit
Those Beddy’s are awesome, I didn’t even know they existed! Now that I’ve seen them they seem like a no brainer for the Revel. I really like the Blair Luxe and the Jameson style. Did you get the “minky” or cotton version? Those bed caddies are also a great idea, thanks for the inspiration! Great video! Subbed! 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
The Beddy's stay attached to our memory foam mattress topper, which is just one piece and lays over the bolsters. So when the bed goes up the edges hang down a little, but with the Beddy's it actually looks quite tidy, and the bed is always made!
We are actually working on a little video presently that features that! There are little plates covering screws in the rounded corners on the screen/shade. Slide those plates straight toward you and after removing the screws all around and in the inner corners (8 screws total), you can take off the white part. We will be replacing these original window covers soon with new covers by Rolef for better bug protection and blackout: www.rolef.ca/products/rattle-free-window-curtain-screen Hope this helps!
@@AdventureswithHermes THANK YOU! a million thumbs up. This project is now at the top of my list, going to get rid of both of them. Replaced our slider window with a great new window with a slider and have a great cover for that one. Thanks again
@@AdventureswithHermes I just received the rolef window cover and getting ready to install it. Another off topic question do you use anything to cover the 2 switches next to the bed so you don't blind yourself in the middle of the night when you hit it in your sleep? THANKS
@mtnride4930 Occasionally, one of the dogs (or Jim) tries to blind us, but we haven't do anything about it (other than moan and sleepily try to find the switch). Perhaps a project for our 3D printer one day!
Nope! We make sure to kind of tuck them into the bump outs nicely (more to avoid a general squish), and have never had a problem with them being stuck in anything!
Yes! We swapped the original lights that were originally in the Revel, which were hard wired to the 12v house batteries. Here's the video on how we swapped the reading lights: th-cam.com/video/8xoTYAPjGtI/w-d-xo.html
We also have some bed suspenders that we use to hold everything in snuggly to make sure we don't have any issues with the bed tracks. These also allow us to tuck the main center mattress in while keeping the ends on just the mattress pad (leaving out the bolsters!)

How do the beddys work with the mattress and bolsters? Do you remove the beddys when you raise the bed?

Add the CAV zip up window covers to your rear door windows. Waaaaaaay easier than rolling the cover up and down.
We've thought about it. The original cover hasn't annoyed us too much (yet?), but we might get there eventually! :)
Off topic but any ideas on how to remove the window coverings in the bunk area? I hate it

Do the Gooseneck lights get caught in the bedding when you put the bed up and down?

Am I the only one who’s screen went black while viewing this? Started off great… then only audio. 🤷🏼♂️
Hmm. We have not heard of this being an issue for others, and seems to be playing fine for us. Hopefully it was just a weird tech glitch!
