- Hey guys! I hope you'll join us for the Well-Loved Woolyknits KAL. TODAY marks the start of the KAL, so if you have your fiber and chosen project, you can already cast on!!
The rules are simple:
1. You must cast on a project that will get a lot of love, that fills a gap in your closet, whatever that might look like for you. I’m not saying you have to knit a basic raglan - it’s about knitting something that you will really love and a finished piece that’ll bring you a lot of joy.
2. You must cast on the project with wool. That can be something you already have in your stash, or if you’re in need of some new wooly fiber, that’s where Woolyknit comes in to help - Take advantage of 20% Woolyknit cones (british wool + merino cones) from now until March 31st using code 'BETHANY20' www.woolyknit....
KAL will be running from March 3 until May 3, 2023. We will be sharing our progress throughout the next two months over on instagram using the hashtag #welllovedwoolyknits

I love WoolyKnits! I’m so excited for this KAL. I’ve had some WoolyKnits British Wool cones in my stash for awhile and I’ve been dreaming of casting on a simple raglan with their Humbug color. It’s a black and white marled yarn and I’m obsessed. Starting today!

Sorry if I missed this. Do WIPs count? I am using Woolyknit 4ply and less than half done with Half + Half Triangles Wrap. It is definitely going to be well loved! I can’t wait to finish it and cast on another. Whether I can join in this or not 😂

I am wearing my Farnham from testing it from Sophie and it's AMAZING! The construction is really lovely and it's my new favourite piece of clothing. Can't wait to see yours!
I haven't finished the video yet but I'm curious if you have used Holst Garn and if so, how would it compare to Wooly Knits yarn?
Maybe pair the red yarn up with a rust coloured mohair. It's just this side of cool but that should warm it up enough that it will look great on you :)

I am considering the Hirne by Kate Davies at 22 stitches per 100 mm. Would look good in the Inca gold.
You simply glow in that creamy colour jumper! What yarn and colours is it?
I love the idea of those cones and also the left over small ones. I’ve been better at using smaller quantities of yarn after my friends have started having children as so little yarn is needed. It’s also a very good way to experience a yarn and see how it is to work with without committing to a big project I find.
If you don't wear blue, knit something for your son in the indigo size 2-3 years. 👚Love you hair cut.

This is my first KAL and it has encouraged me to finally cast on a cardigan. I have been a little intimidated. I have only been knitting since November and have made a few top-down pullover sweaters, but I am confident in my selected pattern choice. I will be casting on the Simple Slouchy Sweater by Yay for Yarn in Drops Lima in the Petrol colorway. I am excited to finally be able to have a comfy knit cardigan. I wear cardigans ALL THE TIME! I just ordered the yarn today, so while I wait for it to arrive, I have another project to finish up and cast off. I will be a bit late to the party, but hopefully, everything will work out. And Bethany, your new hairstyle is SO CUTE! I enjoy watching you and am excited to participate in this KAL.
Hello, could you share you're gage size when you knitted your swatch? what needle size did you use and how big was the swatch?

I will be joining this KAL because at some point in your video I saw a green wool and I just had to get it. If the yarn weight works for it I will be knitting the Reversible Rivulet Scarf from Purl Soho. It will match my ginger hair nicely.

I’ve wanted to knit a sweater hug by Skiendeer for the longest time though it may not be finished as I’m walking the Portuguese Camino for part of the KAL time and there won’t b room or time for sweater knitting Still it would be nice to at least start it

I have some beautiful burgundy yarn that I want to make into a sweater no 19. I have everything I need for it but i have a fear of yarn overs (never really done them before). Maybe I should bite the bullet and just learn how to do it! If anyone has good resources on that, please help a girl out 😅
New to your channel and love this KAL. I have quite a few Woolyknit cones. Have told myself if I make good progress on my Harvest Cardigan which I'm making with their British aran cone (I've cast on the collar and not much more so far) then I can take advantage of the discount to buy a red cone and a purple cone. The gold colourway you have is gorgeous and will make a stunning cardigan.

A while ago I knit a teeny little green and yellow striped jumper for a toy rat and immediately wished I could have one too! I just so happen to have woolyknit cones in khaki and harvest yellow... A Pigalle jumper by Fabel Knitwear it is!

Ever since I saw your noth sweater I new I needed an red/Brown sweater (I have copper dyed hair and was always nervous about reddish clothes but it looked so good on you with your hair that I just fell in love with the idea!) And then boom you do the knit along! Perfect timing!
I really like the Aran weight rust tan cone but for some reason the discount code is not working... It says the gift voucher doesn't exist..
Just checked because I thought it might be because I'm choosing the Aran base, but it also doesn't work for the British wool 4 ply...

I highly recommend a zip play hoodie in the red in a 2T to age 5 size. It's so helpful to spot your kid in a crowd or playground if they run a bit too far ahead. Boys tend to do this more than girls. I say this as a mom to 2 boys and a tomgirl. One of my boys is nonverbal (even now, at age 26). He doesn't run off, but since he doesn't speak, I liked to keep an eye on him when he was little.
