All dishes you tried are Sunday breakfast/brunch dishes. We don't dont eat any of this on weekdays…you are right about going back to sleep or crashing on the sofa for the rest of the day after this heavy breakfast. So Sunday is the day when we enjoy these things.
Nihari. Known as the "national dish of Pakistan", the word 'nihari' is derived from the Arabic word “nahaar” (morning), implying that this dish was meant to be eaten as the first meal of the day.
9:38 the nehari, they just placed togther for your convenience otherwise these are 2 separate dishes, like nihari paratha is 1 dish.. and paratha with chickpeas, potato n halwa is the other dish
We basically eat anda paratha, omelette, fried, boiled, with bread or even with Naan(roti). Also choly(chickpeas) with roti, paratha and halwa with puri .
We Usually have Naan Chanay or Halwa Puri in Breakfast. Halwa Puri is like a Flaky paratha with Chanay & with two sides of Halwa & Aam ka Achaar. Also, the 2nd dish you had was Nihari which is a thick gravy made with maida inside & with Mutton or Chicken. We've never had it with Halwa like you did. We have Halwa with Halwa puri nashta

You actually included some staples of our breakfast cuisine. My only suggestion is that instead of paratha, replace it with naan in Anda Chanay, Nihari and have Chola with the halwa and with puri all in one bite. Other than that, good video.
Most people in Pakistan eat pratha, tea and egg in any form like fri egg , omelette, scrambled egg. On Sunday or some special day have heavy breakfast like Halwa, puri, chickpeas, Potato bhujia. If we talk specifically then Nihari siri paye in breakfast is more common in Lahore not in whole Pakistan.
halwa puri! its my fav… I don’t know what meat thing was, nihari? btw anda with chickpea is normal for breakfast but it’s predominantly a lunch/dinner item.
This is a weekend breakfast, not an everyday breakfast. That is why the girl is right abt going to sleep after having this for breakfast 😂. Bcs that's what we do as well. Also anda chanay and nihari are supposed to be eaten with either naan, sheermal, or kulcha, and halwa, chana is eaten with fluffy puris.
We always eat nihari with Naan and special breakfast r Naan chany and halwa puri patury or in Punjabi ppl drink Lassi but normally with simple Paratha with any salan or gravy and sabzi ,Misi root whish is made of daal and other ingredients and my favorite one is half fry egg with Paratha and I feel like home made dishes r more than outside and plz eat paratha fresh it's crunchy crispy with layers 🤤❤
Naan chaanay or halwa puri or paratha with anda are one of the most famous breakfast here. (I've never seen anybody put egg in chickpeas before, lol) Breakfast of northern Pakistanis must be different but yeah.
Breakfast, Anda(egg) simple pratha and yogurt ... Naan chana in Lahore ,,,Nihari in Haiderabaad and Karachi,,,, Halwa puri some time not daily ,,, mostly people take breakfast egg 🥚+pratha+ vegetable+Yogurt
As a Pakistani. I can assure you no one eats Nihari with chana, aaloo and halwa and paratha (thats a paratha not a puri). thats not a combination. You either eat nihari with nan or sheermal or taftan or you have puri with aaloo and chanay and halwa. Also, anda chana goes with kulcha or naan not paratha.
Pakistani common breakfast is egg/ omelette with bread or paratha and tea. Halwa puri and cholay and everything else is not an everyday breakfast thing it's more of a treat breakfast
We eat halwa with naan or puri, not with parathha. Nihari is breakfast mainly of people who are labourers or into heavy physical activity/professions, others don't have it daily. It is more of special nashta once in few months.
Lahoris have anda chanay, halwa puri or payee as breakfast for weekends mostly, in weekdays it could be aloo paratha or anda paratha or just omelette and toast. With chai obviously
These were more like only typical punjabi and Karachi breakfasts, though it varies from city to city in Pakistan. Also, i would not say that Karachiites have Nihari for breakfast that often, just once in a while. Nihari is more of a Lunch meal than a breakfast. Usually, we would have normal omelettes for breakfasts as in Anda Paratha or Omelette Paratha or even Anda Ghutaala. The Halwa Puri, Anda Channa, Qeema Paratha, Aloo Paratha and Chicken or Chicken Cheese Paratha are also pretty common as breakfast foods.
Here in kashmir we eat channa with eggs dish served with naan or pratha, in Lahore people usually have Halwa Puri, Chholay, and Paye (meat dish) with lassi and Qeema Naan is for Brunch or eaten as a snack. These Are usually heavy breakfasts that we do in Weekends, occasions or Mostly served to guests.. There's so much diversity in dishes of each region in Pakistan so we can't say these are eaten by every pakistani but mostly pakistanis must have tried these at least once in a lifetime..
We usually have a plain paratha with lesser oil and an omelette and milk tea, or anda with bread, Paratha with anda chana, or niharee(usually goes with nan) and halwa poori is a special nashta kinda once in a blue moon thing.
Okay we eat "dum ka qeema" with seprate puri paratha..also not in the morning ..and not like paratha stuffed with qeema. Btw i am from Karachi. Its the hub for foodies.

That's literally our national flag 😅
Garam garam pratha with achar and a cup of tea in breakfast is top of the world
Well As a Sindhi In Sindh province we use to eat Paratha with Pure Makhan and then Chai or Churi made with real pure Ghee and also Chai papa😂❤️🇮🇳🇵🇰
Its a punjabi break fast. Most of Pakistani have a anda phrata and halwa pori
Cornflake, eggs with toast, omelette, paratha with eggs etc are the routine. All the things tried here are once in a month, Saturday morning fare.
Of course the last dish is most common for breakfast.
Pakistan 🇵🇰 has vast majority of food and it changes city to city
Naan chaanay or halwa puri or paratha with anda are one of the most famous breakfast here.
(I've never seen anybody put egg in chickpeas before, lol)
Breakfast of northern Pakistanis must be different but yeah.
I also love south india movies and songs.
I live in Lahore and here we usually have nihari and pays for breakfast
mostly sunday breakfast eat and sleep😂❤
In India you call paratha as parata?
No,In southern India they have got a similar type of bread known as parotta
We don't eat meat with halwa poori and we don't eat qeema paratha in breakfast...😅
The blue girl trying to sound white😂😂
Ye nashta hum suba 4 baje ya after fajar nimaz krte ❤❤❤❤ andanchana is love
We usually have a plain paratha with lesser oil and an omelette and milk tea, or anda with bread,
Paratha with anda chana, or niharee(usually goes with nan) and halwa poori is a special nashta kinda once in a blue moon thing.
Well most of lahoreis have breakfast like halwa puri paye and anda pratha and pratha with chana
great video guys much much love from pakistan.
These are our Sunday breakfasts
Okay we eat "dum ka qeema" with seprate puri paratha..also not in the morning ..and not like paratha stuffed with qeema.
Btw i am from Karachi. Its the hub for foodies.
I am a Pakistani and I eat slice bread with butter/cheese or eggs.
