You do not need to be a Keyboardist to realize that the music is OBVIOUSLY the studio track (it sounds exactly like the studio track), it's a synth electronic song with sequencers, no human bassist or drummer, and none of the instruments are connected in this presentation (it was the 80s) Also, Limahl wasn't precisely Prince or Michael Jackson, his solo career was brief and minuscule, (almost a one-hit wonder) he didn't make big Arenas or large Stadiums, so he didn't have nor need an actual band.
This song and performance is priceless. It is now 2020 and is a billion times cooler and better than the crap we must endure - no names rap grime and anything else related. You got to believe it Bruv ....laters.

Yeah it isn't her voice. I have only seen one with the voice of the girl who's voice it is. They did it because even though the girl is the same age as them, she looks older and she is taller. It is like he is performing with his mom. Plus Mandy(the girl in the video) just looked better esthetically with him and they were actually dating so their chemistry was real
