Ben and I just watched. Just WOW! From start to finish the views were picturesque. And who knew a plastic bag could blow up an air mattress. 🤣 Awesome stuff. Fantastic editing. Great video!! And congratulations on winning the lottery!!

Such an epic place! I managed to score a 5 day Core permit for the 2nd week of August in 2022 ( last year) Pictures and video do not do this place justice. It will be hard to beat this place with any future trips.

I couldn't agree more - the Enchantments is spectacular. Thanks for the comment!

I saw you comment elsewhere on TH-cam about the Tarptent DR Li. How are you liking it? Considering it for the PCT and later backpacking with my wife and/or dog.
Great video and editing. Love the high country - wish I’d have grown up there instead of flat Indiana.

The Tarptent DR Li has exceeded my expectations and I absolutely recommend it, however, I only ever use it solo so I can't attest to how well it would work with another person (or dog). I understand the Zpacks Duplex is roomier for two people, but I prefer that the DR Li sets up without trekking poles and of course the DR Li even has a free standing mode (with trekking poles). Condensation has shockingly never been an issue for me in the DR Li, which given that I'm in the PNW, is shocking (I do use the liner when I camp on the snow). Good luck with your tent purchase and thanks for the kind comment on the video!
