- This is a fun Designs by JuJu Thank you card that I did completely in the hoop on my embroidery machine. It’s done in a 5x7 frame. The design comes with two sizes and two designs. Thank You and Happy Birthday.
Design can be seen here Greeting Cards Set 1
SKU DBJJ2448
I stitched on Tear Away Stabilizer. I used Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper in the size of 6 x 8
I also used 505 Adhesive spray to secure my card to the stabilizer.
I hope you enjoyed this fun stitch out.
I uploaded a second video on how to complete your card once you are done stitching. Be sure to watch that video as well.
To order paper crafting products I used Stampin’ Up! Which can be purchased thru my online store at StampinSueCreates.Stampin up.net.

What do you charge for your cards when sold?
Can you use any embroidery design for stitching on card stock/paper???
I would probably use designs specifically for cards only. Thx for watching
I have a Brother SE 1900. I’ve been trying, unsuccessfully, to embroider greeting cards. The main design comes out beautifully. The lettering doesn’t. The thread seams to get embedded in the paper , so you can’t even see it. It just seems to cut through it. I’ve used double layer of tear away. I’m using a size 10 needle. And have lowered the thread tension. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated
Maybe different sized needle?
What size needle do you use? Every card I try to embroider on, perforates. Also do you trim outside the running stitches that hold the card, or do you trim inside so it isn’t on the card?
I use standard needle that I use for everything 75/11
I’m doing this for the first time and my paper on certain areas keep tearing through. I changed needle, bobbin thread keeps becoming a birds nest. The only thing is the paper. It says 170 got it from Amazon. Can I use 2 pieces of the paper which will make it 340??? Help!
Try watercolor paper. Cold press. From Amazon.
So what number of needle and what size threads do you use?
75/11 needle. Organ needles. Machine embroidery thread. I purchase from amazon be sure to check your machine manual as to which is recommended. Thx for watching.
is your tear away medium weight?
Not sure. Probably medium.
What size envelope do you use?
Depends on what size the final card is. Thx for watching
What machine do you have? I am in the market for one. At one with 5x7 hoop. Thanks
Its a Brother Essence VE2300. Thx for watching
