Conegliano, in its current roster, is truly the best club team in the world. I don't think I've witnessed such a dominant and complete team in recent years of watching women's club volleyball. Wolosz is a master and is able to elevate her hitters to their best. Zhu looks like she's even back to her prime. I can't see anyone stopping them in the LVF or CL. I hope they continue their winning streak!
Love Fenerbahce fans trying to demoralise Conegliano. They celebrate beating the Italians in a QF two years ago like it is a title, but the last relevant international trophy was a the Champions League mora than a decade ago.

Zhu is really coming back to her top form. 1 thing missing is her signature move pipe attack. Once she perfected that with wolosz, imoco would reach its best offense in every rotation
Quando gioca con il sestetto titolare + De Gennaro Conegliano è ingiocabile. Wolosz distribuisce palloni come nessuno al mondo, La mia adorata Bella con la Zhu e Gabi sono cannoniere immarcabili. Sulla mitica De Gennaro non c'è nulla da aggiungere. Fahr si conferma la migliore centrale del mondo. Poi difendono e murano benissimo. Forza Imoco sempre!
Premetto che Scandicci sta giocando una grande stagione sia in campionato, dove è seconda, sia in Champions dove per ora le ha vinte tutte e tra quattro giorni giocherà una partita importante, spero che si riprenda velocemente. Su Conegliano c'è poco da dire, ha appena vinto il mondiale senza perdere neppure un set; in campionato è completamente imbattuto ed ha perso solo quattro set in tutta la stagione. A tutti quelli che dicono che Scandicci poteva fare meglio: è vero, poteva fare meglio in ricezione e giocarsi il tutto per tutto fino alla fine, invece ad un certo punto è crollato a livello mentale. In ogni caso con Conegliano non si vince, avrebbe perso comunque ed è inutile negarlo. Conegliano è una macchina da guerra, quando incomincia a giocare al suo livello nessuno può giocarsela alla pari e questo porta l'avversario ad avere spesso un crollo mentale. Gabi stellare, Haak migliore opposto al mondo, Zhu migliora ogni giorno ed è sicuramente nella top 5 al mondo nel suo ruolo, Fahr a mio parere è la migliore centrale al mondo (ed è stata premiata come tale in VNL), De Gennaro è una leggenda e ciliegina sulla torta Wolosz come setter. Contro una squadra così devi sperare in un miracolo per vincere.
Last year Scandicci had Zhu Ting on their team, they had a close game against Conegliano with a score 2-3. Seeing this dangerous threat to Conegliano that caused him many sleepless nights, Santarelli immediately disarmed Scandicci by recruiting Zhu Ting and he did the same thing by recruiting Gabi from Vakifbank. He now can sleep like a baby at night because Scandicci is no longer a threat to him.
The fact that Zhu looks even more deadly with sets by Wolosz compared to Maja's at Scandicci 💀 Not to mention her killer blocks and improved backrow defense. It's literally game over! Zhu, Gabi and Haak are the best weapons on the pins that any team could ask for.
@@mangosoda0311 I'm still wondering about that in comparing trio of Fenerbahce (Vargas - Fedorovtseva - Cristina) and Conegliano (Haak - Zhu Ting and Gabi) now that Fedorovtseva comes back from China to re-join her team along with the additional Stysiak could be a serious threat to Conegliano. Offensive, both teams are very even but defensive I'd say Conegliano has a better chance with Sarah Fahr and Chirichella as middle blockers and Monica De Gennaro as libero like someone said "Offensive wins game but defensive wins championship".
@@BachTa-e5r In terms of the matchup of the trio pin hitters, I still give the edge to Zhu-Gab-Haak. Vargas and Haak are going to both be offensive threats no matter what (to me they are more or less equal). But to me, the Conegliano OH duo is better. Zhu and Gabi (experience as captains of their respective teams) especially have been on huge stages in their lengthy careers, both club and national teams. Continually, both have been called to rise to the situation and have delivered. In such high pressure situations, those qualities and experiences matter most.
Conegliano's only caveat that might deal their lost is their reception. If a team manages to destroy their service reception then they'll have a chance to beat Conegliano. I don't think any team in LVF can stand a chance. In CL, I only see Fenerbahçe has the chance with Arina's explosive serves. But seeing Zhu, nearly back in prime form, plus Haak and Gabi's offensive plays. It wil be very hard as defense goes to Conegliano too both in the net and floor.
Not quite sure. I think Nwakalor was the best MB yesterday. Remarkable performance from her and Maja on the Scandicci side, but Conegliano as a whole is unbeatable. Their positioning on the court is sublime, the attackers (all of them) are rock solid, defence is perfection. At this point, I would like to see Conegliano playing against a male team, because it is getting boring here. Perhaps only Egonu & co has a very thin chance to win one match against this team. Otherwise, we will have to wait for the next season to see some doubts on the court.

Uma partida sem defeitos por parte do Conegliano: Gabi atacando, passando e defendendo como nunca; Zhu faz juz à sua medalha de ouro em 2016, experiente e sagaz; Haak decolando e atacando mísseis nos adversários; Woloz uma maestra em um time repleto de estrelas; De Gennaro defendendo bolas impossíveis; Fahr e Chirichela um pouco abaixo do normal, mas cumpriram os seus papéis. Já pelo lado do Scandicci, eu não posso dizer o mesmo. A Antropova foi completamente anulada a partir do 2° set, muito em questão de um esquema tático brilhante da comissão técnica do Conegliano. Britt até tentou, mas sua inconstância no ataque não a permitiu ser a estrela que o time precisava. O único destaque positivo foi a Maja, com seus levantamentos que desafiam as leis da gravidade. E o maior destaque negativo vem por meio da comissão técnica do Scandicci, que não conseguiu quebrar o passe da Gabi, que terminou com 76% de positividade em 17 ações, e muito menos da Zhu, terminando com 71% de positividade em 14 ações. Eu acredito que em um jogo como esse, a Zhu deveria ser o alvo prioritário na linha de passe, o que não foi o caso. Resultado, 3 Blocks para o Scandicci e 13 para o Conegliano, com a Carol saindo zerada nesse fundamento, tendo que queimar com a centrais adversárias, facilitando o jogo da Wolosz, que acionou o seu trio mortal das extremidades. Concluindo, foi uma vitória esmagadora que já é uma prévia do que acontecerá na grande final, caso o Scandicci não mude.

How can we beat a team like Conegliano? Simple if either Scandicci or Milano can recruit Li Yingying and offer a million euros, it will be a real game.
I think a lot of credit needs to go to the brilliant quick and short sets given to Zhu Ting and Gabi. The constant threats from the middles also means that the Scandicci middles could not make it in time to create a double block for Zhu Ting or Gabi. Their ability to turn the defensive play to offensive and the shut down of Antropova was also a big factor to this easy win.

Peccato sembrava nel primo set una bella partita, invece stradominio di Conegliano, che mostra una stato di forma perfetto, invece Scandicci evidenzia tutte le sue difficoltà a partire da una Antropova ormai evidentemente stanca fisicamente e mentalmente (troppo stressata da troppe ore di gioco), a parte Carol e Nwakalor le migliori giocatrici di Scandicci della serata, le Toscane subiscono pesantemente il gioco di Conegliano. Alcune considerazioni sullo stato attuale delle “pantere” 1. Sono in formissima nel miglior omento della stagione, tutte contribuiscono a far punti non ci sono “anelli deboli”, questa Conegliano 2024-25, a mio avviso, è nettamente superiore a quella precedente… 2. Posta 4 è fortissimo, Zhu è tornata al 100% (plauso alla Società per averci visto lungo…) 3. In difesa c’è quasi un comico primeggiare/divertente competizione fra Asia, Moki e Gabi a contendersi la palla e la “miglior” difesa, che quasi se la “fregano a vicenda” 😊🤣 4. Gabi, l’acquisto dell’anno per Conegliano: spero possa rimanere per molti anni: un fenomeno della Pallavolo Mondiale… rivela il posto della Cook (che per carità non era l’ultima arrivata…) ma le sue doti tecniche sono nettamente superiore… una “gioia” per gli occhi vederla e personalmente ha fatto solo bene a lasciare il Vakif… 5. Con una Conegliano così c’è poco spazio nel panorama mondiale a delineare una degna avversaria o anti-Conegliano: se non ci riusciranno il Fener e forse il Vakif (dubito l’Ecza), direi come sempre il “Grande Slam” sarà già scritto…Amen!
This performance from Scandicci is a cry for help to their management to improve their roster if they really want this club to compete in the highest level.
They are already competing in the highest level. It’s just imoco that is unplayable right now for every women team. It’s almost like facing a team with men’s rhythm.
@matteozhou2065 i agree that scandicci is one of the top teams in italian league, but their performance today was below their usual, their first match against imoco was more competetive. Even vallefoglia put up a better fight.

Conegliano ha giocato da Conegliano come da copione ma francamente non ricordo una partita così brutta da parte di Scandicci negli ultimi anni. Battute poco incisive che consentivano a Wolosz di giocare quasi sempre comodamente i palloni, pochissimi muri e una fase di contrattacco che non ha funzionato. Herbots e Mingardi sono sembrate scolarette di fronte a Zhu e Gabi. Se poi ci mettiamo anche una Antropova spremuta da troppe partite e ormai stanca, come dico da un po' di tempo, il risultato è una partita scontatissima. Vedendo le mosse del mercato di Scandicci, Milano e Novara, che si sono limitate a innesti secondari e per lo più volti a sostituire atlete infortunate, mi sembra che le società siano ormai rassegnate a lottare per il secondo posto. Meglio tenere le risorse per tempi migliori?
Ciao Ale, Scandicci ha in parte lo stesso problema di Novara (ma Novara è messa peggio...) si trova fuori forma in un momento delicato... (vedi anche Coppe), la società ha solo la gran colpa di aver creato questa "tarantella" delle giocatrici italiane/straniere da cui si generano i problemi della squadra, perchè si è trovata una soluzione "posticcia" in corso e non ragionando bene perima dell'inzio del Camionato; tutto vero, anzi verissimo quello che scrivi; ma Conegliano, e già lo scrivevo a Settembre, è un DreamTeam della pallavolo Mondiale... forse l'unico neo è che mezzapanchina (ma scrivo solo mezzapanchina) non è a livello del sestetto titolare (che è troppo "alto") e Chirichella, che però la Lubian è pronta a sostituirla al "bisogno"... per il resto qua lo scrivo e lo firmo, se non è il Fener o forse il Vakif a mettere il "bastone tra le gambe"... per Conegliano sarà Grande Slam, punto e a capo. 🤣

Dicendo che ha giocato da Conegliano sono stato sintetico, anzi ermetico più di Ungaretti, ma solo per non ripetermi in lodi già dette e ridettte. Nella costruzione della squadra gli errori ci sono stati, lo ha detto anche Ognienovic in un'intervista, e quindi per Scandicci e le altre non resta che lottare per l'ingresso in finale, la Coppa Italia e una buona Champions.

Bella partita, ma l'Imoco è una corazzata costruita per vincere: ha una panchina lunga, molto lunga, con una campionessa olimpica, una nazionale under, e altre giocatrici forti (in altre squadre Nanami Seki sarebbe titolare) Scandicci ha giocato un ottimo primo set, ma poi è crollata (stanchezza, probabilmente, dovuta a una squadra corta, e costruita male), dando l’impressione di essere alla frutta a livello di energie (Comunque, se non ricordo male, Kate aveva riposato nel turno infrasettimanale) Notare che, comunque, Vallefoglia aveva messo in maggiori difficoltà l'Imoco rispetto a Scandicci (e non è allo stesso livello) (possibile che le giocatrici di Vallefoglia abbiano giocato con la speranza di entrar a far parte del roster di Conegliano, dando l'anima) Anzi, più che corazzata, l'Imoco è un vero e proprio gruppo navale, con tante società satellite dove mandare (o da cui prendere) giovani promesse come Merit Adigwe. Cercasi squadra in grado di fermarle, ma la vedo molto dura (ma nulla è impossibile). L'ho mai detto che le veloci di Sarah Fahr sono pura poesia?

Dunque non è Haak la n.1 al mondo... è Conegliano (per la quale non tifo)insuperabile. Se Paolona lo sia, è altro discorso. Stasera sold out! Complimenti alla Lega per questi risultati. Gabi che riceve i servizi di Antropova più che egregiamente: roba da Area 57. Carol piazza primi tempi da capogiro, e in certi momenti sembra persino più letale di Fahr. Mingardi è nel pieno di una metamorfosi che parla chiaro: il nuovo ruolo le sta a pennello, merito del duro lavoro che ha messo in palestra per essere al top per la squadra. Non faccio l’analisi della partita, ma un appunto lo lascio: quanto avrei voluto vedere la stessa intensità del primo set e mezzo anche nel resto del match!
@@kayiu1026 Non l'ho dimenticata, ma parlare di Zhu Ting avrebbe significato affrontare il motivo per cui Conegliano vince e convince da anni. Santarelli ha saputo recuperare una campionessa del calibro di Zhu, che l'anno scorso aveva offerto prestazioni meno brillanti e non appariva altrettanto sorridente. In Italia, c'è chi tenta di giustificare questa situazione sostenendo che la giocatrice fosse già una top player, cercando così di minimizzare il merito dell'allenatore. A mio avviso, questa è una posizione ridicola, ma, per evitare polemiche, ho preferito non sottolinearlo. Zhu è stata eccezionale anche in difesa: scuola cinese docet.
Gabi and Zhu of course. Gabi is amazing especially when defending and taking reception. Zhu provides another option for Wolosz because she can spike above the block. Haak is under less pressure with the help of Gabi and Zhu, you can see how happy she is this season. That's not the same when both Milano and Scandicci gave Imoco some hard time last season.
Zhu and Gabi, they improved the team to be solid defending balls along with De Gennaro, but also they are giving the attack with Haak and support to whole areas in the field. I think that this team is very equilibrated, is a very conscious work behind the sign ups this season and Santarelli is just getting what he wants from this team. Pta. RN, Gabi is the second one player who most digs in the League (behind Libero Brenda Castillo) ahead to her own Libero Del Gennaro... That's the difference about having such a classy and complete player in your team.

Скандиччи показался опустошенным, не готовым к борьбе ни морально, ни физически. MVP декабря, большая зависимость команды от состояния своего лидера предполагает такие провалы. Да и матч ничего не решал. Но одно понятно, что команде необходим игрок, лучше два, способных несколько облегчить работу Екатерины Антроповой, как это, справедливо заметили комментаторы, делается в Conegliano. В противном случае Екатерина может и не "дожить" до плей-офф, дай Бог ей здоровья. Где тогда окажется команда? Так примерно выглядит задача руководства команды на следующий сезон, ну а пока вот так, на вторых ролях, что совсем неплохо для столь сильного чемпионата.
A questo punto della stagione la stanchezza affligge molte squadre non solo Igor Novara che ha perso a Cuneo. Il risultato era scontato, data la forza di Chirichella e compagne di Conegliano, ma Scandicci è stata imbarazzante: non si capisce come sia al secondo posto e ha perso anche a Novara.
Peccato per il crollo mentale di Scandicci. Aspettavo con curiosita' questa partita per capire la reale differenza tra le due squadre , e invece non c'è stata partita.

E' stata la peggior partita nell'occasione che invece bisognava dimostrare di poter impensierire. Avrebbe comunque perso perchè Conegliano non è battibile se gioca al suo massimo , ma arrendersi senza lottare è dovuto al fatto che sono crollate mentalmente.Ieri sera , da tifos Imoco , non mi sono per nulla divertito

The OHs lineup of Scandicci is just ridiculously bad( and it's getting more and more obvious as the season proceeds). Herbots shld go back to Firenze, that's where she belongs. Kotikova should go back to Volero, that's her level of play. Ruddins may consider to play in LOVB or AU. Bajema shld just consider retirement, she is literally fading away
Scandicci needs a solid local OH...they should have held onto Villani. And then invested in a truly terminal foreign OH, such as Li YY or someone of a similar caliber.
scandicci must build a team, not just bring in one or two good players...good players must also be supported by good colleagues. Haak is a former Scandicci player, but they sold her to Vakifbank... Lubian is a former Scandicci player, but they were impatient and sold her. There were lots of good players at Scandicci, but they couldn't develop and bring the team to the peak of glory, now there is Anthropova, fate Kate will be the same as Haak at that time. Oltre a tutte le cose giuste dette nei commenti precedenti riprendo le parole di Ze Roberto: Conegliano ha una amalgama di squadra ineguagliabile non solo in Italia ma probabilmente nel mondo. Poi se guardiamo i valori in campo, tra i due "settetti" Conegliano ha 5 giocatrici da 10 assolute ( Gabi, Wolosz, De Gennaro, Haak e Fahr) più una 9 (una ritrovata Zhu) ed una 8 ( Chirichella oggi sottotono) e tranne la sola centrale (che però è attenta in difesa e nelle palle sporche sotto rete) giocano tutte al loro livello. Per contro Scandicci per me ha solo 2 giocatrici da 10 (Maja e Antropova) e due da 9 (Castillo e Carol) più 3 giocatrici da 7/8 (Britt, Nwakalor e Mingardi). Quindi già sulla carta era svantaggiata Scandicci. Se poi per stanchezza o giornata no si gioca al di sotto del proprio livello c'è ben poco da fare contro una squadra che inevitabilmente incute timore e mette pressione. Scandicci resta una bella squadra così come lo sono anche Milano e Novara ma le venete sono un dream team contro cui c'è poco da fare se non incorrono in una giornata no. Scandicci mi sta simpatica e spero non accusi il colpo perché sta facendo un'ottima stagione.
@KEden-yo9ji Guarda, a me la cinese è sempre piaciuta molto ma sta invecchiando ed il suo livello non è quello di qualche anno fa. Per altro solo ora sta ritrovando continuità dopo il suo infortunio. Ciononostante è una giocatrice fortissima ma, sinceramente, resta un gradino sotto a Gabi . Naturalmente è il mio personale parere e non pretendo che tutti siano d'accordo né di convincere nessuno.

Not to mention Vargas and Ana Crsitina with serves reaching 112 kilometres per hour. It all depends on how Fenerbahce will serve. You will see that soon. And Ana Cristina is a better attacker than Gabi and Fedorotseva is a better attacker than Zhu. Haak and Vargas are in the balance. As you can see, FB's attacking power is better than Imoco's. There is nothing wrong in what I said. As I mentioned in the first comment, there are many different variables.It'll be an unpredictable match.Don't suffer a second disappointment by thinking that Imoco will definitely win. Conegliano, in its current roster, is truly the best club team in the world. I don't think I've witnessed such a dominant and complete team in recent years of watching women's club volleyball.
Wolosz is a master and is able to elevate her hitters to their best. Zhu looks like she's even back to her prime.
I can't see anyone stopping them in the LVF or CL.

Premetto che Scandicci sta giocando una grande stagione sia in campionato, dove è seconda, sia in Champions dove per ora le ha vinte tutte e tra quattro giorni giocherà una partita importante, spero che si riprenda velocemente.
Su Conegliano c'è poco da dire, ha appena vinto il mondiale senza perdere neppure un set; in campionato è completamente imbattuto ed ha perso solo quattro set in tutta la stagione.
A tutti quelli che dicono che Scandicci poteva fare meglio: è vero, poteva fare meglio in ricezione e giocarsi il tutto per tutto fino alla fine, invece ad un certo punto è crollato a livello mentale.
In ogni caso con Conegliano non si vince, avrebbe perso comunque ed è inutile negarlo.
Conegliano è una macchina da guerra, quando incomincia a giocare al suo livello nessuno può giocarsela alla pari e questo porta l'avversario ad avere spesso un crollo mentale.
Gabi stellare, Haak migliore opposto al mondo, Zhu migliora ogni giorno ed è sicuramente nella top 5 al mondo nel suo ruolo, Fahr a mio parere è la migliore centrale al mondo (ed è stata premiata come tale in VNL), De Gennaro è una leggenda e ciliegina sulla torta Wolosz come setter.
Contro una squadra così devi sperare in un miracolo per vincere.

Last year Scandicci had Zhu Ting on their team, they had a close game against Conegliano with a score 2-3. Seeing this dangerous threat to Conegliano that caused him many sleepless nights, Santarelli immediately disarmed Scandicci by recruiting Zhu Ting and he did the same thing by recruiting Gabi from Vakifbank. He now can sleep like a baby at night because Scandicci is no longer a threat to him.

@@mangosoda0311 I'm still wondering about that in comparing trio of Fenerbahce (Vargas - Fedorovtseva - Cristina) and Conegliano (Haak - Zhu Ting and Gabi) now that Fedorovtseva comes back from China to re-join her team along with the additional Stysiak could be a serious threat to Conegliano.
Offensive, both teams are very even but defensive I'd say Conegliano has a better chance with Sarah Fahr and Chirichella as middle blockers and Monica De Gennaro as libero like someone said "Offensive wins game but defensive wins championship".
@@BachTa-e5r In terms of the matchup of the trio pin hitters, I still give the edge to Zhu-Gab-Haak. Vargas and Haak are going to both be offensive threats no matter what (to me they are more or less equal).
But to me, the Conegliano OH duo is better.
Zhu and Gabi (experience as captains of their respective teams) especially have been on huge stages in their lengthy careers, both club and national teams. Continually, both have been called to rise to the situation and have delivered. In such high pressure situations, those qualities and experiences matter most.
Conegliano's only caveat that might deal their lost is their reception. If a team manages to destroy their service reception then they'll have a chance to beat Conegliano. I don't think any team in LVF can stand a chance. In CL, I only see Fenerbahçe has the chance with Arina's explosive serves. But seeing Zhu, nearly back in prime form, plus Haak and Gabi's offensive plays. It wil be very hard as defense goes to Conegliano too both in the net and floor.

Not quite sure. I think Nwakalor was the best MB yesterday. Remarkable performance from her and Maja on the Scandicci side, but Conegliano as a whole is unbeatable. Their positioning on the court is sublime, the attackers (all of them) are rock solid, defence is perfection. At this point, I would like to see Conegliano playing against a male team, because it is getting boring here. Perhaps only Egonu & co has a very thin chance to win one match against this team. Otherwise, we will have to wait for the next season to see some doubts on the court.

Uma partida sem defeitos por parte do Conegliano: Gabi atacando, passando e defendendo como nunca; Zhu faz juz à sua medalha de ouro em 2016, experiente e sagaz; Haak decolando e atacando mísseis nos adversários; Woloz uma maestra em um time repleto de estrelas; De Gennaro defendendo bolas impossíveis; Fahr e Chirichela um pouco abaixo do normal, mas cumpriram os seus papéis.
Já pelo lado do Scandicci, eu não posso dizer o mesmo. A Antropova foi completamente anulada a partir do 2° set, muito em questão de um esquema tático brilhante da comissão técnica do Conegliano. Britt até tentou, mas sua inconstância no ataque não a permitiu ser a estrela que o time precisava. O único destaque positivo foi a Maja, com seus levantamentos que desafiam as leis da gravidade. E o maior destaque negativo vem por meio da comissão técnica do Scandicci, que não conseguiu quebrar o passe da Gabi, que terminou com 76% de positividade em 17 ações, e muito menos da Zhu, terminando com 71% de positividade em 14 ações. Eu acredito que em um jogo como esse, a Zhu deveria ser o alvo prioritário na linha de passe, o que não foi o caso. Resultado, 3 Blocks para o Scandicci e 13 para o Conegliano, com a Carol saindo zerada nesse fundamento, tendo que queimar com a centrais adversárias, facilitando o jogo da Wolosz, que acionou o seu trio mortal das extremidades.
Concluindo, foi uma vitória esmagadora que já é uma prévia do que acontecerá na grande final, caso o Scandicci não mude.

I think a lot of credit needs to go to the brilliant quick and short sets given to Zhu Ting and Gabi. The constant threats from the middles also means that the Scandicci middles could not make it in time to create a double block for Zhu Ting or Gabi. Their ability to turn the defensive play to offensive and the shut down of Antropova was also a big factor to this easy win.

Peccato sembrava nel primo set una bella partita, invece stradominio di Conegliano, che mostra una stato di forma perfetto, invece Scandicci evidenzia tutte le sue difficoltà a partire da una Antropova ormai evidentemente stanca fisicamente e mentalmente (troppo stressata da troppe ore di gioco), a parte Carol e Nwakalor le migliori giocatrici di Scandicci della serata, le Toscane subiscono pesantemente il gioco di Conegliano. Alcune considerazioni sullo stato attuale delle “pantere”
1. Sono in formissima nel miglior omento della stagione, tutte contribuiscono a far punti non ci sono “anelli deboli”, questa Conegliano 2024-25, a mio avviso, è nettamente superiore a quella precedente…
2. Posta 4 è fortissimo, Zhu è tornata al 100% (plauso alla Società per averci visto lungo…)
3. In difesa c’è quasi un comico primeggiare/divertente competizione fra Asia, Moki e Gabi a contendersi la palla e la “miglior” difesa, che quasi se la “fregano a vicenda” 😊🤣
4. Gabi, l’acquisto dell’anno per Conegliano: spero possa rimanere per molti anni: un fenomeno della Pallavolo Mondiale… rivela il posto della Cook (che per carità non era l’ultima arrivata…) ma le sue doti tecniche sono nettamente superiore… una “gioia” per gli occhi vederla e personalmente ha fatto solo bene a lasciare il Vakif…
5. Con una Conegliano così c’è poco spazio nel panorama mondiale a delineare una degna avversaria o anti-Conegliano: se non ci riusciranno il Fener e forse il Vakif (dubito l’Ecza), direi come sempre il “Grande Slam” sarà già scritto…Amen!

This performance from Scandicci is a cry for help to their management to improve their roster if they really want this club to compete in the highest level.
They are already competing in the highest level. It’s just imoco that is unplayable right now for every women team. It’s almost like facing a team with men’s rhythm.

Conegliano ha giocato da Conegliano come da copione ma francamente non ricordo una partita così brutta da parte di Scandicci negli ultimi anni. Battute poco incisive che consentivano a Wolosz di giocare quasi sempre comodamente i palloni, pochissimi muri e una fase di contrattacco che non ha funzionato. Herbots e Mingardi sono sembrate scolarette di fronte a Zhu e Gabi. Se poi ci mettiamo anche una Antropova spremuta da troppe partite e ormai stanca, come dico da un po' di tempo, il risultato è una partita scontatissima. Vedendo le mosse del mercato di Scandicci, Milano e Novara, che si sono limitate a innesti secondari e per lo più volti a sostituire atlete infortunate, mi sembra che le società siano ormai rassegnate a lottare per il secondo posto. Meglio tenere le risorse per tempi migliori?

Ciao Ale, Scandicci ha in parte lo stesso problema di Novara (ma Novara è messa peggio...) si trova fuori forma in un momento delicato... (vedi anche Coppe), la società ha solo la gran colpa di aver creato questa "tarantella" delle giocatrici italiane/straniere da cui si generano i problemi della squadra, perchè si è trovata una soluzione "posticcia" in corso e non ragionando bene perima dell'inzio del Camionato; tutto vero, anzi verissimo quello che scrivi; ma Conegliano, e già lo scrivevo a Settembre, è un DreamTeam della pallavolo Mondiale... forse l'unico neo è che mezzapanchina (ma scrivo solo mezzapanchina) non è a livello del sestetto titolare (che è troppo "alto") e Chirichella, che però la Lubian è pronta a sostituirla al "bisogno"... per il resto qua lo scrivo e lo firmo, se non è il Fener o forse il Vakif a mettere il "bastone tra le gambe"... per Conegliano sarà Grande Slam, punto e a capo. 🤣

Dicendo che ha giocato da Conegliano sono stato sintetico, anzi ermetico più di Ungaretti, ma solo per non ripetermi in lodi già dette e ridettte. Nella costruzione della squadra gli errori ci sono stati, lo ha detto anche Ognienovic in un'intervista, e quindi per Scandicci e le altre non resta che lottare per l'ingresso in finale, la Coppa Italia e una buona Champions.

Bella partita, ma l'Imoco è una corazzata costruita per vincere: ha una panchina lunga, molto lunga, con una campionessa olimpica, una nazionale under, e altre giocatrici forti (in altre squadre Nanami Seki sarebbe titolare)
Scandicci ha giocato un ottimo primo set, ma poi è crollata (stanchezza, probabilmente, dovuta a una squadra corta, e costruita male), dando l’impressione di essere alla frutta a livello di energie (Comunque, se non ricordo male, Kate aveva riposato nel turno infrasettimanale)
Notare che, comunque, Vallefoglia aveva messo in maggiori difficoltà l'Imoco rispetto a Scandicci (e non è allo stesso livello) (possibile che le giocatrici di Vallefoglia abbiano giocato con la speranza di entrar a far parte del roster di Conegliano, dando l'anima)
Anzi, più che corazzata, l'Imoco è un vero e proprio gruppo navale, con tante società satellite dove mandare (o da cui prendere) giovani promesse come Merit Adigwe.
Cercasi squadra in grado di fermarle, ma la vedo molto dura (ma nulla è impossibile).

Santarelli ha saputo recuperare una campionessa del calibro di Zhu, che l'anno scorso aveva offerto prestazioni meno brillanti e non appariva altrettanto sorridente. In Italia, c'è chi tenta di giustificare questa situazione sostenendo che la giocatrice fosse già una top player, cercando così di minimizzare il merito dell'allenatore. A mio avviso, questa è una posizione ridicola, ma, per evitare polemiche, ho preferito non sottolinearlo. Zhu è stata eccezionale anche in difesa: scuola cinese docet.

Gabi and Zhu of course. Gabi is amazing especially when defending and taking reception. Zhu provides another option for Wolosz because she can spike above the block. Haak is under less pressure with the help of Gabi and Zhu, you can see how happy she is this season. That's not the same when both Milano and Scandicci gave Imoco some hard time last season.
gabi is espetacular but robinson still pretty solid all things consider, the biggest gap relies probrably on Zhu playing such a good voleyball lately
Zhu and Gabi, they improved the team to be solid defending balls along with De Gennaro, but also they are giving the attack with Haak and support to whole areas in the field. I think that this team is very equilibrated, is a very conscious work behind the sign ups this season and Santarelli is just getting what he wants from this team.
Pta. RN, Gabi is the second one player who most digs in the League (behind Libero Brenda Castillo) ahead to her own Libero Del Gennaro... That's the difference about having such a classy and complete player in your team.

E' stata la peggior partita nell'occasione che invece bisognava dimostrare di poter impensierire. Avrebbe comunque perso perchè Conegliano non è battibile se gioca al suo massimo , ma arrendersi senza lottare è dovuto al fatto che sono crollate mentalmente.Ieri sera , da tifos Imoco , non mi sono per nulla divertito

Oltre a tutte le cose giuste dette nei commenti precedenti riprendo le parole di Ze Roberto: Conegliano ha una amalgama di squadra ineguagliabile non solo in Italia ma probabilmente nel mondo. Poi se guardiamo i valori in campo, tra i due "settetti" Conegliano ha 5 giocatrici da 10 assolute ( Gabi, Wolosz, De Gennaro, Haak e Fahr) più una 9 (una ritrovata Zhu) ed una 8 ( Chirichella oggi sottotono) e tranne la sola centrale (che però è attenta in difesa e nelle palle sporche sotto rete) giocano tutte al loro livello. Per contro Scandicci per me ha solo 2 giocatrici da 10 (Maja e Antropova) e due da 9 (Castillo e Carol) più 3 giocatrici da 7/8 (Britt, Nwakalor e Mingardi). Quindi già sulla carta era svantaggiata Scandicci. Se poi per stanchezza o giornata no si gioca al di sotto del proprio livello c'è ben poco da fare contro una squadra che inevitabilmente incute timore e mette pressione. Scandicci resta una bella squadra così come lo sono anche Milano e Novara ma le venete sono un dream team contro cui c'è poco da fare se non incorrono in una giornata no. Scandicci mi sta simpatica e spero non accusi il colpo perché sta facendo un'ottima stagione.
You may not realize it yet but zhu is a 10. Come playoffs and championships or against the most difficult match then youll understand why.
@KEden-yo9ji Guarda, a me la cinese è sempre piaciuta molto ma sta invecchiando ed il suo livello non è quello di qualche anno fa. Per altro solo ora sta ritrovando continuità dopo il suo infortunio. Ciononostante è una giocatrice fortissima ma, sinceramente, resta un gradino sotto a Gabi . Naturalmente è il mio personale parere e non pretendo che tutti siano d'accordo né di convincere nessuno.

@@mangosoda0311 Gabi for Kelsey Robinson and Zhu for Plummer. I don't see much difference, it's all about Fedorovtseva, who has 11 aces in a single match, beating Zhu with her serve. Not to mention Vargas and Ana Crsitina with serves reaching 112 kilometres per hour. It all depends on how Fenerbahce will serve. You will see that soon. And Ana Cristina is a better attacker than Gabi and Fedorotseva is a better attacker than Zhu. Haak and Vargas are in the balance. As you can see, FB's attacking power is better than Imoco's. There is nothing wrong in what I said. As I mentioned in the first comment, there are many different variables.It'll be an unpredictable match.Don't suffer a second disappointment by thinking that Imoco will definitely win. I can tell you.
