Eons ago I used to see that phrase popping up everywhere in graffiti around the Bay Area. Of course music can overwhelm and overpower and posses our nervous systems better than any other drug: but I like to think about this in the sense of a cultural mindset, not just a literal proclamation that we can get high on music. For me, it means that music can be medicinal, and also significant to our lives as a shapeshifting force for culture, identity & community. As members of a musical community, you all have the chance to prioritize the health & safety of your nervous systems, and to treasure your bodies & their well being, instead of being careless, reckless, or harmful with such precious cargo. To me this song is about magic more than anything, and creating it with LUZCID was a joy and a pleasure. I also want to thank Katrina again for the vocals: we love your voice :)

My ex and I used to listen to this song in the driveway, late at night after we'd popped eggs-to-see (mdx) and I swear it was one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life if not ever. The music was so clear. the high hats and bass was artistically thrown around my psyche until I had a full on chakra awakening. Music is the essence of living in the moment. I love you bassnectar! just saw Luzcid in Philly on Sunday, and since my friends were the ones who put on the show I got to go upstairs and chill with him and the other artists. extremely down to earth dude. I can see why Lo likes working with him

I went through a dubstep and general edm phase in early middle school. I stopped listening to it and moved on to rap and rock but I've never stopped listening to bassnectar. I don't like the genre at all anymore but his music is so great that I can still love it

One of the awesome things about this whole album and many other of Lorin's pieces is the way he tunes the frequencies. This is one of his examples of being a musical genius, the thought, effort and talent he puts into making every sound come out the way he does, wow, just wow, musical mad scientist! The specific frequencies he uses are unbelievable how hard it makes my car stereo pound! It is seriously unf2ckin real how hard the bass hits on tracks such as this one. Puts the magnets to working overtime ;)

Makes the Paradigm Studio 100 V1 jump at home and works out the old Adcom 5500 running the old towers with two Dayton Ultimax 12" in custom 4CuFt ported boxes tuned to 18Hz on a old Adcom 5800. Can't get enough but my neighbor's have had enough of me. They moved away! Daily earthquakes aren't there thing I guess.
