As far as the door panels go, I’d recommend dying them with the duplicolor kit. I did em and the arm rest on my 88 which are the same ones as your car and, they look brand new. I can dm you the before and after a on Instagram if you’d like.
The ribs on the seats match the ribs on the inside of the door SO well!

Oh yea these seats made a huge difference, I actually want to drive the car now😂. Haven’t done any pulls yet, just torquey low rpm partial throttle stuff. It goes for tuning this saturday.

Doing over a convertible right now . My driver seat not looking so good at 130k . Think I'm going to do this . Only thing is I will have to match rear seats . I did this in a fox body years ago but camaro has less options for covers.

Can you do a video on how you got the stock seatbelts through? I tried and maybe I'm doing wrong, but cannot fit.
I have late 90s J-body seat belt receivers in my T/A, they are shorter than those 4th gen receivers
Mine have been an absolute nightmare to get in. The brackets seem like the fit the floor studs like absolute dog shit

Seating position will definitely change how you perceive driving. I've passed a car I wanted because of how the seats were positioned without the correct adjustments available.
How tall are you. I'm just getting into camaros and my big problem with my other track cars is I'm 6-2 so when I have a helmet on I don't fit in anything. Would appreciate your input.

And that would be volume equalization.
I watch most of your videos in my truck on lunch, and when you do a silent clip where you add in some music, the volume of the music vs your voice is way off sometimes. I'll have my radio turned up just loud enough to hear you talk, but then when music kicks in, since the sound clip is louder it makes my subwoofers hit hard and i have to scramble to turn it down real quick lol. Not sure if its just me, possibly the guys watching with headphones too?
I’ve been fighting this issue for a while. It seems when I export it the volume tends to get louder on the music parts. I’m fed up with final cut and might try adobe!
Could you put the Holley monitor in the actual dash, or maybe in the center console???

Seats look great! I'm curious how you fit with your helmet? I think those are a low profile model that is supposed to give you a bit more head room over stock? What is your opinion on these for autocross or open track days? Will they keep you in place?
I haven’t tried with the helmet yet but they really don’t feel much taller than the old ones. They feel like they’ll hold you in really well, so I’d recommend then for track days. I mean sports cars today come with similar seats like the zl1’s with heavy side bolstering and they hold great on the track.

They make a low profile high density roll bar padding.

Do the new seat allow you to wear a helmet? (With out touching the headliner ). Will you put the seat brace back in?
Im leaving the brace out now that the seat has no more wiggle to it. I haven’t tried the helmet yet, but I THINK it will be alright...

When are you going to do more trans am content? I’m jw, because I got the exact same model and year. But mine is factory stock with a Quadra jet carbed 305.

Any troubles with tech at Atco? I had to do door bars to make a 6 point to run faster than 11.5 et.
I’m using an 8 point cage minus the side bars, so I guess technically I have 6 points still. I never had an issue though. Only thing they complained about was my loose seat track...

They came out of a 92 rs roller I used for body parts.

I’ve got same seats how you get seatbelt through? Does bottom retractor fit through?
The bottom slipped through. I have 4th gen seatbelts though, I thirdgen belt won’t fit.

With the corbeau sliders yes.
Gen 3 same floor bolt patten as gen2?
Not that I know of. I know nothing about 2nd gens.
What did you do with the old seats?
Storage for now. Holding onto them for another project.
