I don't think Broly was stronger than Jiren, so if we're going by the anime continuation, I assume Goku would've beaten Broly if it didn't take too long and his Ultra Instinct gave up on him

Goku washes broly ngl. Even putting jiren and broly at similar levels for argument sake. Gokus gonna have a way easier time handling broly(with uncontrolled rage) compared to a focused jiren. Only way broly is winning is if goku runs out of ui otherwise its gogeta treatment 2.0. Ui is designed to counter all kinds of martial artist/fighting styles. what do you think ui would do to an untrained mindless fighter lol thats a walking lick.
