I'll just add, when engine breaking and really losing speed, flash that rear break light so that people behind you understand your slowing down

3 days into bike Ownership. videos like yours really show me what’s important on the road. I have a lot to learn about being safe and shifting before I should be on the road and cause an accident.

New owner as well, just got my license, definitely makes you think more than driving a car in terms of being prepared before using the roadways.

Parking lot practice is great, and this type of video shows the real world applications of that parking lot practice. Swerving, braking, awareness all in one vid. Hope to see some more of these vids in the not too distant future.

As a brand new rider myself, I do this type of roll play when I’m driving my car. Always looking as if I was actually on a motorcycle.

Good stuff, man. I recently got a Nightster a few months ago and feel like the only reason I’m still alive is from 15 years being a FF where scanning and responding to other drivers has always been drilled into us. Keep the content coming!

Honestly, I don't agree with him riding on the extreme edge of the lane since any vehicle could be speeding or emergency vehicles. Also, leave your high beam on because light is faster than sound. Constantly check your mirrors so you don't have to check your shoulder and in case any emergency, you know your escape path. While standing at a light, check your mirrors. If you see a vehicle approaching, blink your brake lights because blinking is more visible than a solid light.

I don't really use this lane positioning because I've had people try to split lanes with me thinking that it was ok because I was so far over in the lane. so I drive more middle lane.

I only ride position 1 on the interstate when no one is coming in beside me to my left. Might be wrong but too many people swerve/merge not paying attention 🤷Same in town or anywhere.

I really enjoyed this video , it also made me wonder more about your bike. Like the type of tires and the way it’s set up for you. Might make a good video to make on t-clocks.

BTW it was, in fact, a Camaro and that was not a PT Cruiser it was a Chevy HHR. Though in all fairness to you they both like like a 1930's hearse. 28:40 poor guy on the shoulder. Looks like his motorcycle lost its' engine. 2nd PT Cruiser also a Chevy HHR.
