This is one of the best advice ever. The 2 and 3 are basically the coil --> uncoil phases. Most rec players, including myself, put down the left foot too early, disrupting the rhythm.
I have discovered this timing through trial and error and have come to the same rhythm as you so well describe. I usually make sure I have started step 2 just prior to the ball bouncing and smoothly transition to step 3 ( drop and throw) thereafter. I am able to sustain hitting against the wall a lot longer if I follow this rhythm
Doc this was a game changer for my forehand! My rhythm and racket head speed improved dramatically! Especially the blend of the 2 and 3 move. Thanks 👍👊
Hello from France. I've tried today and ... it works very well ! It also works with the backhand. Brilliant ! Thanks
Just in time. I really needed this educational video. Thank you V!
This is great stuff. Hope you do it for the one hand backhand next.
Great video, thanks!!
A teaching pro was telling me to do what you do not suggest and it really messed up my forehand. This method looks interesting and never seen this before. Will give a try. You made excellent points. Merci. Update: this has actually helped me with spin and racquet head speed. Thanks
Fantastic class 🎉
along with feeltennis this kid's good
What are the prices in Toronto?

When i visit Canada, I'll reach out to you coach.
Of course, you can send me an email to: tennisdoctoratp@gmail.com
Doesn’t coach Patrick mortaglou have like 20 videos saying to prepare early
Taking the ball early, and “setting the racquet early” is not the same.
So, what's with the low to high??
You said it NEVER happens!
Good clip, but do you mean "rhythm" ?!
And "preparation phase"
Looks like his legs don't work.
Come on, speak normally and not so robotic.
He's canadian so it's not his fault
