I ended up taking the compensation money and keeping the item in hopes I could get it fixed. At the end I sold it and stated it was in broken condition for around $100. So in the end, I lost some money.

As long as the refund is done through the dispute process and no other way and you are happy with the price you paid after the partial refund then sure go for it. If you don't think its a fair proposal then counter with your own.

Are you sure there isn't an open dispute button? Are you using a mobile phone/tablet or a computer? There really should be a dispute button - maybe your just not finding it.

I ran into something similar and could not find the "open dispute" button. However if you click on "order details" button a new page will open up and the "open dispute" button should be there. Hope this helps

Are you using mobile or laptop/desktop? On mobile go to 'Account' then 'In dispute' then you'll see your item. Click the items title and you'll be met with the order details page. Click 'DISPUTE IN PROGRESS' then scroll down and click 'cancel dispute' ======== On desktop you go 'My Aliexpress' then 'Disputes' then 'Dispute in progress' then 'cancel dispute'

@@nimra4318 Don't worry this is normal. That's a notice indicating how long your buyer protection is. So in 59 days, unless you mark the order as delivered or you open a dispute, your buyer protection will run out and the order will be archived.
Never happened to me that i can recall but you should get a refund for both amounts. Not sure how that could have happened though. Strange. Let me know what happens
If it’s been more than 20 days, they have an ARN number for you to track the transaction, it could be a delay so just go to your bank, explain the situation and if they ask for an ARN, give them and they should be able to see where the money is
I have an order that arrived, however 3 items are missing. ALL of the items (purchased from the same seller store) were supposedly shipped together, as I received the same USPS tracking # but not all of the items were in the delivered package. I contacted the seller but received a generic auto-generated reply. I opened a dispute...4 days went by and the seller finally responded with what looks to be another generic response and asking to cancel dispute. I declined. @@teniolageorge2532 yes I've received it. Contact your seller and tell them about the mistake. I don't think its that much of an issue but open a dispute just incase, that's what I did and I cancelled the dispute immediately I received my package.

Its good you got refunded for one, they might have felt you ordered 2 by mistake and then mistakenly cancelled both orders assuming you actually wanted one. The extra $10 i don't understand. Open a dispute and follow it to the end or to the point you get a full refund. Do not accept any refunds via paypal.

Tricky one this. You will pay 0.01p as the sellers says. But then the buyer protection expires on the original order and then the new item never arrives or is broken and the seller refunds you 0.01p. This is a possible outcome. Or the seller could be genuine and actually make sure you get your new order. Your own judgement on this one buddy. Try not to let the old order protection expire because that's where your money is and so a dispute will be the way forward.

I honestly don't know what you can do, you should be able to click the product image or title then be taken to the page to open a dispute. Its not a website error coz i just tried on my phone and i can click on any order. Can you click orders other than the one your having an issue with?

If the seller is not sending the refund, you will not get your money. And after your dispute is finished you have no option to contact aliexpress. The seller Oukitel agreed on a refund and at that moment Aliexpress is not doing anything. I never got my refund and the process is finished. this is an unacceptable service.

Go to your account > Orders - Click 'View all' on the right > go to the product in your list > Click the name of the product to open up order details > Scroll down a little and you'll see 'Open Dispute' > Then choose from 2 options, 'Refund Only' or 'Refund and return'

As long as its all done through the dispute then all is good. 1. Make totally sure it was a refund given and not a separate transaction where the seller sent the money for goods and services (Some dodgy sellers will claim it back at a later date when the dispute has been closed.) 2. Do not close the dispute until you got the refund and the money is back in your paypal.
I would advise you request refund through aliexpress. I can't remember exactly the details but i remember someone in the past doing that and the outcome wasn't good.
Ali has just rejected my refund request although i have supplied them an official eveident from shipment company that the package was lost. i have asked paypal to help. i recommend you all to order from ebay, their buyer protection is very good, i would not buy from ali again

If it’s been more than 20 days, they have an ARN number for you to track the transaction, it could be a delay so just go to your bank, explain the situation and if they ask for an ARN, give them and they should be able to see where the money is
I have an order that arrived, however 3 items are missing. ALL of the items (purchased from the same seller store) were supposedly shipped together, as I received the same USPS tracking # but not all of the items were in the delivered package. I contacted the seller but received a generic auto-generated reply. I opened a dispute...4 days went by and the seller finally responded with what looks to be another generic response and asking to cancel dispute. I declined. I cannot get my photos to successfully upload for the evidence. I'm getting a bit frustrated with this process. Any advice on how to provide my evidence when their system won't upload it? Thanks!
Are your mages smaller than 2MB? Try reducing the size using a free online tool like: www.reduceimages.com/ then re-upload see if that works

I ordered 3 items and only 2 items arrived.. I opened a dispute and there was LITERALLY no option to say "ITEM NOT RECEIVED"... What?!? After contacting support and an hour of my life I will never get back, they couldn't even help me and needed to "escalate". How incredibly incompetent is this?!? You sell items and you have no concept of how to handle a customer who did not receive all of the items in an order?!? I have learned my lesson THE HARD WAY... I clicked on "confirm order receipt" after my order was shipped, I didn't know I had to receive the item first before doing that. I don't know if I'll have any issue getting my order- I opened a dispute though, do you think this is gonna be an issue?

@@teniolageorge2532 yes I've received it. Contact your seller and tell them about the mistake. I don't think its that much of an issue but open a dispute just incase, that's what I did and I cancelled the dispute immediately I received my package.

Its good you got refunded for one, they might have felt you ordered 2 by mistake and then mistakenly cancelled both orders assuming you actually wanted one. The extra $10 i don't understand. Open a dispute and follow it to the end or to the point you get a full refund. Do not accept any refunds via paypal.

Hi. I got a message from the seller telling me the order failed to clear customs and the ask me to reorder.they say they.will adjust the price to 0.01 . How Do I reorder making sure it will be 0.01 ? I Do not want to play again.
Tricky one this. You will pay 0.01p as the sellers says. But then the buyer protection expires on the original order and then the new item never arrives or is broken and the seller refunds you 0.01p. This is a possible outcome. Or the seller could be genuine and actually make sure you get your new order. Your own judgement on this one buddy. Try not to let the old order protection expire because that's where your money is and so a dispute will be the way forward.

what if I've added a new card and cancelled my old one how can they refund me on my new card?
If the new card is from the same bank on the same account then i dont think it matters, any refunds on the old card will still go into your account.

I honestly don't know what you can do, you should be able to click the product image or title then be taken to the page to open a dispute. Its not a website error coz i just tried on my phone and i can click on any order. Can you click orders other than the one your having an issue with?

If the seller is not sending the refund, you will not get your money. And after your dispute is finished you have no option to contact aliexpress. The seller Oukitel agreed on a refund and at that moment Aliexpress is not doing anything. I never got my refund and the process is finished. this is an unacceptable service.

Go to your account > Orders - Click 'View all' on the right > go to the product in your list > Click the name of the product to open up order details > Scroll down a little and you'll see 'Open Dispute' > Then choose from 2 options, 'Refund Only' or 'Refund and return'

As long as its all done through the dispute then all is good. 1. Make totally sure it was a refund given and not a separate transaction where the seller sent the money for goods and services (Some dodgy sellers will claim it back at a later date when the dispute has been closed.) 2. Do not close the dispute until you got the refund and the money is back in your paypal.

I would advise you request refund through aliexpress. I can't remember exactly the details but i remember someone in the past doing that and the outcome wasn't good.
