McGuinn is the most articulate musician of all time. He knows his stuff down cold, is humble and heck, has a childlike enthusiasm to welcoming new things and people, and has such a calming aura about him overall. Love the guy, and his music--quite the talent.

I've known McGuinn for 40 years. He's had 4 wives, girlfriends in between, and has been happily married for over 30 years, who also co-writes songs with him. He's as straight as a laser. Why do people start lies about others?

He uses a double "G" string configuration with one string an octave higher than the other. I think this was made for him my Martin Gutiars.

I bought a 7 string guitar in 1967 when on vacation in Leningrad, now St. Petersburg. It was very cheap and poorly made though. First thing I did when I got it home was take one of the thinner strings off. six is more than enough.

No, Roger McGuinn is heterosexual. He has been married twice to two different women (Ianthe McGuinn and Camilla McGuinn) and he had two sons with Ianthe when they were married in the 1960s.
