Hi Robojax, I have the Dect 6.0 CL83107, only need one. Between this & the manual I was able to do most of this. But I'm having real trouble adding speed dials, added one to Directory, put the name and it is not letters of that person and gave me no assigned number. Tried again from the handset, keeps asking me to edit but that isn't doing it. Please explain to me how to put in my old numbers from the landline phone w/names I recognize & a way to assign them each a speed dial setting, getting nowhere here. TYSM for this, at least your info got me started lol!
Hi, you did not mention which brand phone of Dect 6. If I don't have the phone in hand i won't be able to help. Just do a google/bing search for the manual. I am sure if you can find it. good luck.

Hi again...for example, the handset went directly to correct date & time when I started to program it but the base has a different day altogether for message playback - ?? Also there is no way to turn the phone off at night, I have to unplug the line from the phone jack on the wall to the phone, that cannot be right. I've read the manual over & over again, can find nothing on those. The speed dial situation is off, I go into Directory and try and instead of my bank's name being spelled out for example it comes out w/the first letters of each number key. Please help if you can, tysm!!

this is unbelivalbe to know you get very little. We know money reduces the suffering but for sure it does not bring happenies. There are millsion of people totally unhappy with millions of dollars in their bank accounts.
I’m confused by how this system works with Voicemail provided by the telephone service. . It seems that once Smart Call Blocker is on, you have to use the built-in answering system.
@@robojax Right. I just think it's annoying that Smart Call Blocker makes the provider's Voicemail service unusable. If someone in your *Allow List* is allowed through to ring, they can only leave a message on the built-in answering system. Seems strange that they would include Voicemail settings when Voicemail is rendered obsolete by Smart Call Blocker.

@@robojax I have no idea if there were more issues because I had to give up after 7 minutes when you continued with nothing but what you were GOING to discuss. I found another video that was 8 minutes long and it was perfect. He started with unboxing the items and began just like written instructions would have in going step by step.
This is a good video. It's missing how to change how many times it rings before going to voice-mail. My phone only give 2 rings before going to voice-mail. I have disconnected the answering machine. That does not fix the problem. I'm slow at getting to the phone. Please help

I downloaded the subtitle and searched for "ringer" and found it but does not tell me which part of the video. so please watch to see it. you can set up to 9 rings before answering machine is activated and that is what I found in the subtitle of the video.

May be I mentioned it or because I am paying $10/month plan VOIP phone which has all the features. I remember I used pay $3 or $4/month for each feature. That could be the reason I might have forgotten.

Same issue...My cell phone says connected but doesn’t ring when incoming calls go through the vtech phone. I wonder if its because Im using the router.
I just bought a similar phone only it’s a DL series. It seems to have all the same features. If I setup the call screening feature where the caller has to respond what happens to the call if I’m not around to decide what to do with the call?
This is exactly what I have explaiend it in the video. We are using and since we purchased it, only we get legit calls. You must not skip the video as I have not said anything extra.

Exact video I was searching for. This is THE BEST!! So I have researching for new cordless phone for my parents and one thing I do look for is being able to buy additional handsets. I have looked at the phone you are reviewing but AmazonCanada does not have any additional phones for available for sale. So... my question is do you know if I were to buy a another entire CL82407 or set with 2 ro 3 handsets (doesn't matter), Do you know if I'll be able to combine the handsets? By the way.. the fact that it isn't using a standard AA or AAA battery is no buy for me. Too bad. By the way... it's 2.4v not 4.2v :D
Hello, I found the handset on Amazon US amzn.to/34I7O4M and about the battery, AA is total waste and this phone has tones of features. So you just leave it it charge. I am in favour of rechargeable batteries for economical reason. Amazon is is very rich and I boy somebody that items I don’t find on .ca . Good luck
Call waiting is a feature you purchase from your provide. You must have disabled it. Follow the instructions I have given. Use chapter of this video to jump to different sections of this video
These phones are very low quality. I have 5 units, and the speakers for the speakerphone and ringer all went out within a month. The answering message, and time / date reset if the power goes out. I would advise anyone looking at AT&T cordless phones to find another brand. Their products are junk!

It requires a good understanding of how you want to use the phone settings for your personal needs. “yes” it’s long however there are many features and each one is described on how to use it and how to set the feature on/off. Home phone is Center to connect all family members. You can’t call 4 people to see if Ahmad is home or not. Just call home and someone will answer. Also Anyone who has kids. Your kids must learn the meaning of home phone. Also in emergency only landline stays active if there is power outage.

turn the voicemail on the phone OFF. you can't save money if you think to buy the one without the voicemail.

No. you dodn't have it. you can simply hang up. or program it to hang up. Most spam callers never like to lave a message.

I had to watch the video to answer it. the phonebook capacity is 50 so you can get more that at for received calls as well.
