Great video and it helped me out a lot. My kit that I got back in September of 22 had 42 links per track and 2 extra links with it. Just got to putting the kit on this past weekend.
Danke für deinen video sehr cool ich habe auch einen jdm dozer und möchte mir diese breiten ketten kaufen . Gibt es irgendwo einen kompletten umbausatz ? Grüsse Dozer Woody 😊
Great video 👍 now I’m looking forward to doing mine I got the wide set and his new Drives Not sure why he sent you only 82links I double checked mine I got 86 He does PowderCoat them And not a bad idea to get a Master link set
awesome upgrade but a quick grip clamp would of made this project as easy as a slice of apple pie 8-) I went through all my links before installing them and re working a few areas of were the powder coating was a bit thick. Originally the areas will make your tracks feel like they kink up when working them or rotating action on dozer. But Im sure in time they would work themselves freely.
@@thatsmyrc that’s where I was having my trouble. Like you said it’s a piece of pie with 42 links. I think 41 is too tight. I just got my extra links in and will be putting them on soon. Really good fit with the 42 I think.
After watching the full video, I see that not only do you have to change the chains, but you also have to install extension bars and stretchers, several additional pieces. The question is: does this widened chain kit include bar screws and wideners?
@@digitrcwhere did this kit come from? I am wanting to get this for mine as well, I went with the CSMI stainless steel tracks, but want to do a wide kit, thanks so much in advance!
Hello, do you know if there is an option to change wide chains that is cheaper than the Australian option. It is terribly expensive and the shipping is also very expensive.
Rc construction projects, it’s an outfit out of Australia. I think there’s another one where you can get the upgrade as well CSMI , I think they are out of Australia as well.
@@digitrc 👍thanks bro ! Keep the vids going I really like watching them. Helps when someone else needs to fix or upgrade there’s. Most people I have talked to are very apprehensive about disassembling one of these machines. So having a video / tutorial on how to do it helps a lot. Thanks again.
@@Triplethreatindustries my pleasure. Again thank you for watching. I know it can get intimidating taking things apart to work on them so when I have to I like to share it with others.

Even with the clamp it was a booger.
Did you stick with the 41 links or did you do 42?
@@digitrc 42 I didn’t want to overwork the drives. If they stretch out which I don’t think they will much then I’ll take one out.
