BSE Tech Glitch Leads to Traders’ Loss worth Crores | SEBI MUST Penalize the Exchange

- BSE, India's prominent exchange, stopped working today, for hours. No stockbroker across the country was able to connect with the exchange and the worst part was that today, was the expiry day of Sensex.
A huge chunk of traders had their positions placed today.
A lot of them lost crores worth of money due to this technical glitch on the BSE. We, at A Digital Blogger, have received more than 500 complaints across our social media profiles where we are in process of assisting the clients on an organic and paid basis.
All stockbrokers came out with their acknowledgment that they are facing connectivity issues with the exchange, however, exchange failed to acknowledge this concern for a long time.
We are raising a concern here. BSE must pay a huge penalty and also, return the money lost by traders due the exchange's mistake.
Why traders be always at the wrong side of technology failures? BSE must own its mistake this time.

Class action suit file hona chahiye against BSE and SEBI. Bring them to their knees with fines and claims.

It's been there for far more longer than NSE. So, it's going nowhere. This is why SEBI should add more Weekly contracts.. maybe 10 contracts in 1 week, 5 for NSE and 5 for BSE so that volumes increase and so such big errors don't happen.

There should be compensation and penalty for BSE management has to take the responsibility some people should be remove from job.
Those option buyer were made loss on that time of glitch not due to glitch. Actually they bought PE instead of CE and price boomed . When tried to exir the order , it was not showing completed. But later time order executed at same price when it was requested initially. So loss due to option buyer mistake, but one thing for that movement they can't re enter because of glitch.

Today I have placed two call and put sell order at market price but my order goto pending I am trying to cancel my pending order but unable to cancel my pending order, I am trying cancel my order again and again but every time showing error and nothing happens but suddenly my order executed and Instant showing -1.5 lakh loss I am unable to exit my position and also I am unable to cancel my open order Finley at the end I booked a big loss of -55k . Today this big loss is my 4 months profit of options selling. Now I am going to quit trading from all segments because In this type of situation nothing works like stop loss or risk management and whole year profit can be wipeout in single day.

Whenever a glitch happens. That exchange should void all the trades for that day as if it was a holiday that day. Whatever transaction fees, etc should be borne by the exchange.
If its a broker level glitch. Broker should bear the losses right down to the last paise. SEBI should ensure this.

Groww me ye pahli bar nahi t jisme technical glitch ke karan exit me problem hua ho, previous Friday ko mai exit hi nahi kar paya or itna hi nahi SL v usne galat pick kiya.
I do not trade in F&O still I am unhappy about this glitch as many retailers and traders have lost money not because of fraud but because of negligence of stock exchanges. Exchanges should provide compensation to those affected by glitch from their profits.

the biggest glitch was caused by the finance minister, home minister, prime minister and the baseless exit polls on 4th June, but people can't do much except booking their losses just like the way retail investors did in case of adani but stil no inquiry, no ED, NO CBI and No compensation.

Technical glitches in stock market results in heavy loss to traders. Hence SEBI should take stringent steps to recover loses due to the technical glitch. Glitch day should be declared as no gain no loss day.
