I thought Brahmin was somebody who has the knowledge of vedas.....if you didn't even know why or what you were doing, how did you become brahmin, can you explain me? People say caste is based on karma and service... but I see people making it on the basis of birth. That is the biggest drawback of Hinduism 😢

Thank you Sri Iyer for getting excellent experience from Shri PVR Narasimha Rao. A good explanation both in terms of Shastras and science. I have been attending upanishad and bhagvad gita classes. There is one example that my Guru has explained for the above three paths. We have water in the world. It has got three states. One is "Solid state, Liquid State, and Gas State. Solid state is Karma and should become Karma Yoga. Liquid state is bhakthi and should become Bhakti yoga. Gas state is Gnana and should become Gnana Yoga. For all these three water is existence, which is always present.

I cannot find adequate words to express my grateful thanks to you, Shree Iyer, for putting out this absolutely wonderful podcast. I am an extremely curious student of spirituality, and always wondered about the connection between the individual/ God/ Universe. Having heard numerous speakers and ploughed thru various texts - English translations, I don't follow Sanskrit, unfortunately - without being able to fully understand very much, this talk was a godsend for me. I feel I need search no more for a more eloquent clarification of the complexities expounded by Knowers and Seers of yore. What further attracts me to Shri Narasimha Rao's style of simple, yet powerfully lucid explanation is his linking of the abstruse concepts of metaphysics to modern scientifically proven theories of both classical and quantum physics. I bow down with folded hands before Shri Rao, and look forward to many more such podcasts. My reading of the subject is that the experience of our acharyas is the same .But their interpretation is different. The speaker has explained advaitha philosophy using quantum mechanics ,where the observer plays a key role. Whole heartedly appreciate Shree Aiyar for having invited such resourceful personalities to deliver their thoughts on spritual and sublime thoughts. Hare Krishna.
Yes, interpretation and/or verbalization of experience can be different. Moreover, great gurus teach what is useful and relevant _their_ audience and _their_ desa-kaala-paatra. After all, _absolute_ truth cannot be captured in words and all expressible truths are _relative_ anyway (to a frame of reference)! That is why my emphasis is on doing sadhana oneself rather than get lost in intellectual debates.

We all different, because our minds are different, hence our finger print varies. When we are in the field of mind, we are in a state of dvaita. When our mind is free from any impressions then we are in a state of visista advaita, when we are beyond mind and prior to consciousness. Beyond nada, then its advaita, its not a state, we become that. Nothing to cognize. No- thing, absolute silence. Excellent explanation.

I had studied bit of vedanta from advaitic point of view and also had dwaita upbringing..lot of concepts were difficult to grasp..then i encountered work of Nasa Physicist Tom Campbell ..his metaphors are different but you can very much easily draw parallels with our philosophy but for me with computers science background his My Big TOE gave interesting way to understand this reality and simultaneously get deeper understanding of what our vedanta says..also Christian Sundbergs A walk in Physical is a fabulous book..I feel these 2 modern interpretations of truth of life and beyond had helped humble me and respect everyone as divine expressions which is very much in line with our vedanta
Narasimha sirs explanation of dvaita and Advaita in the simplest manner has given me a lot of clarity....thank you sir and also to Shri Iyer ji for bringing him on ur show.....hope to see more of narasimha sir on ur show.....i do watch his individual podcast...but when conversation happens....new insights can emerge. 👍🤟

Shree Narasimha Rao Ji has as lucidly explained as is possible in such a short discourse the Concept of Universal Conscience in the Sanaathana Philosophy or Bramhan, and the four paths which will in the end lead humans to that ultimate reality. I cannot find adequate words to express my grateful thanks to you, Shree Iyer, for putting out this absolutely wonderful podcast. I am an extremely curious student of spirituality, and always wondered about the connection between the individual/ God/ Universe. Having heard numerous speakers and ploughed thru various texts - English translations, I don't follow Sanskrit, unfortunately - without being able to fully understand very much, this talk was a godsend for me. I feel I need search no more for a more eloquent clarification of the complexities expounded by Knowers and Seers of yore. What further attracts me to Shri Narasimha Rao's style of simple, yet powerfully lucid explanation is his linking of the abstruse concepts of metaphysics to modern scientifically proven theories of both classical and quantum physics. I bow down with folded hands before Shri Rao, and look forward to many more such podcasts. Once again, thank you Shri Iyer, for enabling me to experience - and I use the term deliberately - the wonder that is your guest in this podcast. 🙏🙏🙏

The format is good and I myself into path of understanding the same topic i.e. oneness with universe .... I had learning and trying to experience this from past 2 years ... Really enjoyed to listen ... As a thought i would say that it should be made as series approaching from top down instead from down to top as later is bit difficult to explain without having something to relate. My reading of the subject is that the experience of our acharyas is the same .But their interpretation is different.
The speaker has explained advaitha philosophy using quantum mechanics ,where the observer plays a key role.

Yes, interpretation and/or verbalization of experience can be different. Moreover, great gurus teach what is useful and relevant _their_ audience and _their_ desa-kaala-paatra. After all, _absolute_ truth cannot be captured in words and all expressible truths are _relative_ anyway (to a frame of reference)! That is why my emphasis is on doing sadhana oneself rather than get lost in intellectual debates.

We all different, because our minds are different, hence our finger print varies. When we are in the field of mind, we are in a state of dvaita. When our mind is free from any impressions then we are in a state of visista advaita, when we are beyond mind and prior to consciousness. Beyond nada, then its advaita, its not a state, we become that. Nothing to cognize. No- thing, absolute silence. Excellent explanation.
Nada is the vibration of Shiva that is the starting point of energy... eventually appearing as mass...that in fact is 99.999% empty space!

I had studied bit of vedanta from advaitic point of view and also had dwaita upbringing..lot of concepts were difficult to grasp..then i encountered work of Nasa Physicist Tom Campbell ..his metaphors are different but you can very much easily draw parallels with our philosophy but for me with computers science background his My Big TOE gave interesting way to understand this reality and simultaneously get deeper understanding of what our vedanta says..also Christian Sundbergs A walk in Physical is a fabulous book..I feel these 2 modern interpretations of truth of life and beyond had helped humble me and respect everyone as divine expressions which is very much in line with our vedanta
Narasimha sirs explanation of dvaita and Advaita in the simplest manner has given me a lot of clarity....thank you sir and also to Shri Iyer ji for bringing him on ur show.....hope to see more of narasimha sir on ur show.....i do watch his individual podcast...but when conversation happens....new insights can emerge. 👍🤟
Listening to PVR Narasimha Rao ji is always a pleasure but this was a delightful surprise. I never imagined that people could misuse the power of Advaita but I suppose this is where one must be able to differentiate between Brahman and Brahm! Shree Narasimha Rao Ji has as lucidly explained as is possible in such a short discourse the Concept of Universal Conscience in the Sanaathana Philosophy or Bramhan, and the four paths which will in the end lead humans to that ultimate reality. It is necessary to first reign in our ego, emotions, desires and attachments before seriously embarking on our journey along one of those paths.
