Great video, thanks to your attention to little details that actually matter. I've been using Buds2 for over a year and I can confidently say that during phone/voice calls in noisy environments, Buds2 REALLY struggle to pick up my voice. It's so bad that I'm often forced to put the buds back in the case and forget about them and press the phone to my ear. That's perhaps due to aggressive background noise reduction that can't properly filter out surrounding noise and separate my voice from other noises. I'd appreciate your input if you've had the chance to try both the Buds2 and Buds2 Pro ability to pick up your voice in noisy situations.
Hi, I have used both of them to make phone calls in noisy food court condition and windy park condition. Buds 2 pro works well in both conditions. Buds 2 works well in food court noise, but doesn't work well in windy conditions. Not sure why.
I tried talking and walking along street with traffic noise behind me. The person at the other side can hear my voice clearly. Not sure if they can hear my traffic noise. We can talk and conversation without any issue.

I'm still using this buds 2 pro and they are still working well for me. I use it with my 3 other earbuds though, so I didn't use this buds 2 pro for the whole day everyday. I didn't use this for my office work video conference because a headset with extended mic is better than buds 2 pro mic, and don't want to stuff my ear canal for too long.
Hey first of all great video but i have a question if it is worth switching from the buds 2 to the buds 2 pro Reasons: 1. sometimes the one gets louder or quieter about 1 click on the volume button (i know didnt press them) 2. they come out of my ear very easily so I often have to put them back in. Yes the buds need to connect to a phone for setting up. After you set it up with Galaxy Wearable app, you can use the ear buds without controlling it from your phone. However, every time you use them, the phone has to be close by as it will attempt to connect to the phone. Do you intend to use it for amplifying the ambient sound to aid in your hearing? Interesting. Never encoutntered this before, so don't know if i can help. The anc uses the external microphones to listen to the ambience sound and attempt to play opposite sound frequency to cancel the ambience noise. Keeping this in minds maybe check your external microphones to see if there are debris or moisture stuck in there.
I regret buying them, with ANC I can still hear the wind when walking outside, and suddenly the noise cancellation was tuned off, it actually scared me as I heard a cars noise which caused me to thinking the car was about to hit me. So unhappy experience
Samsung better integrate real multipoint, real equalizer in the app and Google Fast Pair, in fact Samsung should just copy what they already do with JBLs ( JBL belongs to Samsung).
Do you notice any appreciable difference in weight for these buds compared to past ones? I know my Galaxy Buds Pro can feel quite heavy in the ear sometimes.
Comparing Buds 2 pro to Buds 2, the Buds 2 pro feels slightly heavier, but I only noticed it when you ask me this question. They feel about the same weight and difference is not obvious unless you intentionally notice it. The shape and fit sometimes make us feel the buds are heavier or lighter than they really are.
ANC works well, but when I used it on a plane at landing time, the air pressure was not balanced properly, resulting in my ears being blocked for a couple of days. Don't recommend using these buds during take-off and landing.

You shouldn't. You just don't get the native equaliser in Samsung phone settings. Your Android phone might have its own sound equaliser. Which Android phone are you using?
Huh? When does it auto turn off? We shouldn't need to bother turn on and off. It's on when we take it out of the case and wear it, and it's off when we put it back in the case.
Hey, have you ever experienced any sound difference when ANC or ambient mode is turned on vs normal. Whenever I turn either one on, it seems like it changes the EQ and makes it super bassy and muddy. I can fix it by switching to a custom EQ, but its just annoying. I got mine off of ebay and the only noticable damage is on the left earbud where the inside vent is dented in. You think that dent has anything to do with it?
Hmm... might want to return it if there is a dent. You can test if the dent is causing it by comparing the side with and without the dent. For mine, the bass and EQ are not affected with ANC on or off. If the air vent is damaged (blocked) it will affect the bass for sure.
This is a common experience. In fact, if you check auto eq settings, there are separate eq settings for these particular earbuds and without ANC/transparency turned on because the sound profile changes.
The dolby atmos option is for the phone speakers themselves... whenever I try to switch it on while listening music on my buds that option is deactivated.
Whilst the sound quality of these buds are really impressive the noise cancelling is very sub par to the point I am returning them. I have been spoilt with using Bose QC25 over ear headphones for a few years and the noise cancelling is light years difference to the buds2 pro but I guess that was to be expected. They are good for convenience and sound quality but if noise cancelling is your main priority I would give these a miss.
Yes like what @OniKiri mentioned, the ANC chip they can fit into over ear headphone is a lot bigger and more capable than the small tiny chip they can fit into ear buds.
How the he'll are you comparing over the ear to these come on Bru I got the soundcore QC 35 and the noise canceling is far superior to these the driver inside is bigger so comparing these to over the ear is nonsense is like comparing airpod pros to there over the ear counterparts and finding out the over the ears have better noise canceling

@Row Lee Yes. It's called Galaxy wearable app. Try searching it on the google play store on your xiaomi phone, see if you can install that app.
you can't take advantage of Samsung Scalable Codec if you're on a non-Samsung phone.
Very on point 🫶🏿
Thanks a lot. Glad you find it useful.
I like my buds but I wish they would last longer.
how the hell do you turn off "auto turn off"
Huh? When does it auto turn off? We shouldn't need to bother turn on and off. It's on when we take it out of the case and wear it, and it's off when we put it back in the case.
@@SkyPerspectiveI like to hsve only 1 in sometimes and if you put L in your R ear, it turns off randomly
@@okkomp Left side got the mic, and it turns 'off' if you speak. (Noice canceling).
Buy some memory foam ear tips for the buds 2 pro. Thank me later.
ما فهمت ليه تقول كذا وهي في الاساس معها اطراف اذن🤔
I love the music quality of these buds as well as the noise cancelling...but it fails dismally in call quality, absolute rubbish!!!
The dolby atmos option is for the phone speakers themselves... whenever I try to switch it on while listening music on my buds that option is deactivated.
Wrong
@@blackpowder99 thrn why mines disables when I put on the earbuds???
Whilst the sound quality of these buds are really impressive the noise cancelling is very sub par to the point I am returning them. I have been spoilt with using Bose QC25 over ear headphones for a few years and the noise cancelling is light years difference to the buds2 pro but I guess that was to be expected. They are good for convenience and sound quality but if noise cancelling is your main priority I would give these a miss.
You cannot compare over ear headphones with true wireless in ears to begin with.
The best you have " ever used " right..ok.
Can you please link that case of the buds? Tnx
I don't think they sell it online but this is the variety store I bought it from
