I think it is not correct because rowing and paddling move my wrist around so much. On my rower, I use a chest strap and it is a lot lower. I'd guess 120 on the kayak if not less. I'm often singing along to music, so not winded.
@@hermytools, That makes sense. A quick story, i had a concept 2, I could only get my heart rate up to the high 80's, even tho I was huffing and dripping. a month later I had a pacemaker installed. I got rid of the C2 now I use a bells of steel air bike. and a polar chest monitor.
