Julia, I don't know how you do this every time but whenever watch any of your videos, it fills me up with the most positive energy. Life feels lighter and happier whenever see your videos and at the end find myself smiling at my screen :)
I absolutely adore you. You're one of the few people online who shares what they eat without it being super toxic. Your vibe is so lovely, keep being you :)
julia, ive been following you for over a year now, and I really think youre my favorite influencer. your energy is so positive and inspiring, and you've helped me so much in my ed recovery journey. Its been really hard, but your videos rlly inspire me to keep going and i could never thank you enough for that i love you !!!!
If you don't want your peanut butter to be dry a the bottom of the jar you have to mixe it all every day and keep the jar stored upside down, the oil will be distributed and stirred constantly ;)
I was always an anxious person and was ( and still am ) dealing with ED behaviour and thoughts. I am a mindful eater ( or at least I try to be ), but I am always very anxious around food which makes me very angry… I found this video very calming and helpful ❤
Open the jar after letting it sit for some time upside down and MAKE SURE tu stir it every time. The oil just comes to the top, that's the nature of the density differences :D
You always seem to convey the message I desperately need to hear at the very right moment. Today, and the past couple days, I have struggled with anxiety and stress, which has a direct effect on my digestive system in the same way you described. This tends to trigger feelings and thoughts I have had when dealing with my ED in the past. I truly believe that mindfulness and intuitive eating is something that I need to do on a daily basis. So thank you for always being honest and open with such a positive outlook. 💕
I absolutely love your vibe. Your videos help me deal with my eating issues, cause you make me feel very safe and like I deserve food that makes me and my body happy
The last minutes really put tears in my eyes. Thank you for your words. You're great and I love 'spending time with you' through your videos, you seem like such a wonderful being. :)
Saw the title and did the same for the last week and wow, I didn't realise I ate SO mindlessly and way too much volume-wise (which made me a little too full afterwards). Absolutely game-changing! Thank you so much Julia!
This may be a controversial opinion, but as someone recovering from an ED myself, I actually think that ‘mindful’ eating can be more harmful than good in (early) recovery.. personally, I find it much easier to make sure I am eating enough whilst watching a TH-cam vlog (ie. this video) whereas if I were to eat without any distractions it would make me hyper-aware of the food and I would run the risk of undereating.. Hence why I would only recommend intuitive eating at a later stage of recovery when you have regained your hunger/fullness cues..
I'm recovering from binge eating, and eating with distractions helps take my mind of food, when I'm hyper focused on the food, I'm more likely to keep going for more servings b/c I'm bored and not doing anything else
Natural peanut and almond butters are staples for me and I have the same problem with it being almost a powder at the bottom too! My grandma is so smart and one day I noticed she poured out some of the oil at the top into a small Tupperware to stick in the fridge! That way when you get to the bottom, you have some oil to mix back in
You need to put all of the new peanut butter into a blender, mix it smooth and put it back into the jar. It will stay smooth, the oil and the „other stuff“ won’t „split up“ anymore.
Honestly Julia, you are so so right about your perspective of mindfullness and nourishment. I just wish it clicked in my head and I start viewing life the same way you view life.
If we're being totally honest, Julia, you have the right idea when it comes to the connection between mindfulness and healthy eating. Keep it up! Xo Heather Thrills
enjoyed your video! I get the Natural peanut butter which has the oil on top which you have to stir every time ....I find if you store it on it's top upside down it works well for the oil staying around ALMOST to the end :D
I totally have different personalities which just make my day better sometimes :D we don't need to have other people around to joke a little bit and have a good laugh!
Dry Nut Butter Solution : I just learned the solution to this lifelong problem. 🤗 Nikole Goncalves from Healthnut Nutrition solves it in her video called "Life-Changing Hacks" from a month ago. Basically she put the whole jar of oil and nut butter into a food processor and it comes out so fluffy and smooth. It is incredible!!! Highly recommend.
Hi Julia, i tried eating mindful but every time a quitted because i thought "I'm not able to do that!" the thing that freaks me out is when I spend a lot of time cooking and when it's ready i'm not hungry anymore.. but i feel guilty for spent so many time to cook and so end up eating, even if i don't want it. any advices? hug you from Italy 📍
I dont get how can vegans eat THAT much food like... uhh that bowl of salad for breakfast! I see many vegans eating so much, I know its à low calory food and needs to be eaten in large quantities. but heck, how can someone put that much into their stomach and not explode? Its also full of fiber that is very very satiating. I am not plantbased for that reason cause I cant get in enough calories on a fully vegan diet ( not eating junk), trying the mediterranean diet and mostly its made of plants but I must throw in some high calorie animal foods. I have gastrointestinal problems and my food intakeis limited ( my colon is damaged), also have some issues with absorbing nutrients. I try to ramp up my fiber intake and aim to be like 80% plantbased but not fully.
I’ve only had store bought kraut (like wildbrine brand) but it always tastes way too yeasty/probioticy for me to consume outside of very small amounts on toast 😂
Literally loving all your videos! Whenever I see that you posted something I just NEED to watch it immediately. Thank you for being so open and authentic with us, much love for your healing journey, you’re doing great!🥹❤️🩹

Love the mindful eating talk😊💕💫🤙🏾
me watching Julia's video while having dinner and she talking about mindful eating w/o distractions😂😂 What an irony man!!!

Turn the pb jar upside down and let the oil and nuts combine and it won't be separated at the bottom :)
Julia, I love you. I had eating dissorder and I am vegan for six month, you was my biggest inspiration
I always make different accents. You qre not the only one❤ Love your videos..
Omg that breakfast bowl 🤤. I want
You’re such an inspiration 🫶🏽🫶🏽

Yeah, or even flipping the jar over while storing is helpful to mix everything!🫶🏻
You can also use a hand mixer and never have to take it out of the jar. You gotta hold on tight to the jar though!
thank's a lot for being who you are! I love your vibe!!
add coconut oil to the bottom of the PB and mix
All the love to you Julia!! ❤ I just wanna give you such a big hug

How long does a grocery haul like that last you? I struggle with portions. I usually buy too much then my veggies go bad. And I hate wasting food!
Advertisement WAY too long. As a new viewer, we'll just leave before it's done.

Do you want kidds?

Are you no longer vegan??
