I will try out your playing style,like snipe first and after some time , going agressive.Usually i'm playing agressive from the first minute and many times i have bad results like only 3-4 shots fired and dead. If I remember correctly, it was brought in instead of the all-time favorite and the real monster waffentrager Auf e-100, and the AP ammunition is also awesome, what damage it does! Paper - that's why many people call it the papper beast! - but if you have somewhere to hide and the enemy is spotted, there is no mercy!😉
One of my most played tanks and I see why you use this setup. I would use an aiming device instead of the turbo, but as the exp turbo has a stabilizing effect too, it's also good. A normal turbo seems like a waste though, the second and last field mod are enough for mobility buffs imo.

I marked my Grille while playing with Controll’s bobject platoon, I’ll tell my setup that works really good for more aggressive playstyle: Bounty Accuracy thing (-8% gun dispersion), turbo and hp boost. Perfect for peek-a-boo and hit and dip technique, on most maps.

I havent tried Grille yet but I finished WT recently and I love that tank. Its dpm, accuracy, pen, back mounted turret with decent mobility allows you to fight heavies in many cases and out trade them
I still think the T9 is a way better tank. Sure, the dispersions are the worst aspect of Grille, and you can somewhat fix them, but the combination of awful camo, awful shell velocity, no armor, and no gun depression, makes grille very annoying to play both aggressively and passively
It is a fact that the tier 9 is superior to the Grille 15, the tier 9 has a fully rotatable turret and does not has 0.4 of gun dispersion. I would prefer the tier 9 128mm gun with same or slightly better stats on the Grille 15 than its actual gun.

I don´t agree on you this time. The basic dispersion while moving is .26 and .29 while tank traverse and .40 turret traverse. Adding the rotation mechanism and the mobility improvement system reduces these values to .22, .24 and .33 .... that still enormous and nearly the double a normal t8 medium has. The grille has exactly 2 advances - it´s mobility and precision. So i - for sure personally - add a turbo and improved aiming to it so i end up with a basic dispersion of .21 ..... that´s the best in the game i think and by this you can force the projectiles into a very narrow spread so you nearly always hit when fully aimed - even over giant distances. And mobility is always useful for a quick displacement as well the backwards-speed when getting back into cover. Your advice is in that way bad as it includes an item not really every player has....even i got only one mobility improvement system over the christmas time, and putting it into a grille.....nah.
my only ace on grille was when I yolod like a donkey and did 2k dmg on my own spotting, plus some 2k spotting for my team. had 4-5k pure sniping games without ace
I played Grille 15 with bond rotation + directive and still the bloom is out of this world. Playing in front works but for sniping is nearly unplayable. Tier 9 is so much better with higher DPM, faster shells with better penetration, better camo and much better gun handling.

The aiming time is indicated in seconds to reduce the circle by half, respectively, if the final accuracy is 4 times different from the initial one, then the aiming time needs to be 2 * aiming time. Reducing the final accuracy reduces the initial circle by the same amount (the concept of dispersion factor is additive, not multiplicative) and since the initial circle is several times larger than the final circle, is it really necessary to neglect aiming time?
I dont think people struggle because it has bloom, i think people struggle because (not having it myself) i´ve seen shots go out of the reticle. The 0.27 acc. or whatever it is seems to be a lie. Related: playing both in a similar manner, in the stats i have better hit/shot stat in the 112, than the M4 Mle Liberté. Make it make sense.
i think we all can say the same i 3marked the tank but it cost me half my braincells. i have 70% hit rate on grille and 82 on 0.5 basotto, similar thing on leo anti-german propaganda at its finest😜

Rotation Mechanism does NOT give you better gun handling. It gives you 12% faster rotation. 12% faster rotation means the aiming circle is going to be 12% bigger as well. Then it gives you -12% dispersion bonus during rotation, which means it just takes the penalty of faster rotation away. So, at the end, you rotate faster and you have your initial dispersion, so you just get better mobility.

I have this 3 marked w 57% wins. Rammer and rotation device is a must. Slot 2 i run optics cause optics is good on just about everything. You could instead run vents. I dont agree w the turbo because its already more than fast enough.
Your explanation of aim time is compltely wrong xD Aim time is the time it takes for the bloom to decrease by 1/3rd (of the radius I think, so that's 5/9th of the circle area) until it reaches it's base dispersion. In almost every case it's better to decrease the maximum bloom rather than decrease the aim time. The only exception is for cases where your bloom is MASSIVE and has to decrease by a lot, like after driving with an fv4005 for example. To put it simply: decreasing aim time is more effective for major adjustments, decreasing bloom is more effective for minor adjustments. There is a video about this topic on yt called 'The TRUTH Behind Equipment - How Gun Handling Works in World of Tanks' by 13Disciple if you're curious. Also bear mind to the legendary study of 'Ultimate Gun Mechanics' by Overlord_Prime. To put this in line with the rest of this video: the scaling of aim time is the worst out of any modification, so you should basically never choose a field mod to improve aim time
even with the same equip and full crew.. my aim circle is double your size and even fully aimed the gun hits shit. Its not the equipment.. its wargaming that doesnt want it to be good.

The Grille is practically unplayable because the HORRIBLY RANDOM DISPERSION (accuracy stats are total BS in this game), the T9 TD should be the T10 and not the other way around... Only WG can make a glass cannon with zero camo, limited turret rotation, and balance it with an useless gun. The most accurate gun in the game, LOL... even a Pz38NA is more accurate with a T2 gun than this pile of sh*t... We should use it as a mid/close range support medium??! Nice fix to the problem, iyouxin. :D
Negative. The vehicle is a piece of shit, please tell the direct truth: it needs huge buffs. It is ridiculous: you play T110E3 and do 10K, you play Grille 15 and do 6k and say the vehicle is good, Something is quite wrong. Grouses over the hammer will perform better, the mobility gets far better 💩

Same problem with Skorp. The disappearing shells got so bad I dropped rammer for faster aim speed + improved rotation

Grille is killed by it's munition. Change the slow ass, average pen heat to apcr with atleast 350 pen and 1400 speed and it would be massive upgrade.
Grille is fun and games until u realise it has under 20% camo. There are heavy TDs with double that camo

What do you think of dropping the rotation mechanism for a low noise exhaust? Would make it a lot more flexible since the camo sucks.
I like to think if I get spotted it's my fault. And if I'm aggressive I will be spotted anyway

Negative. The vehicle is a piece of shit, please tell the direct truth: it needs huge buffs. It is ridiculous: you play T110E3 and do 10K, you play Grille 15 and do 6k and say the vehicle is good, Something is quite wrong. Grouses over the hammer will perform better, the mobility gets far better 💩
