Great job on the 3 videos. I enjoyed them and even commented aloud ha ha. I was listening to Overkill since I first heard in union we stand on MTV. After I hear Black for personal reasons I quit listening to metal for a long time. Fast forward to now and I sampled ironbound on the Bandcamp site and loved it. Bought 4 downloads of the latest 5 CDs and from there bought every cd in the catalog including 2 live ones. I am eagerly awaiting the 20th one. The word to describe this band is CONSISTENSEY. Not one bad record and barely if any skippable tracks including that ballad you mentioned. I think my least favorite might be the killing kind. I actually think the first album is a bit more pure old school heavy metal with bits of thrash. Great none the less Imo. I have been digging bloodletting (heavy as balls) and wings of war a lot so far. The underground and below cd is pretty cool too. they did a lot of experimenting but still stayed true to the Overkill sound. Overall, this is a very impressive catalog of music. It has and will stand the test of time. I hope to catch a show soon. I think Blitz is like 62 now. Long Live Overkill.
Right on, Bruce! And I appreciate you watching all 3 videos. What an awesome band and yeah, one of the most consistent ever. Even if there's an Overkill album you neglected in the past, chances are you'll get into it later on. Of course I'm looking forward to the new album and will do a video review after it drops...!!
I just saw a recent interview where Blitz says that Killbox he thinks has the best production of any Overkill album. I also hear a lot of people complaining about the bass being to loud on W.F.O but I kinda dig it. The bass sound and blitz's vocals are one thing that sets them apart from the other bands of this genre. what do you all think?
Overkill sounds like Overkill plan and simple, that's why I love this band.
The drummer makes a BIG difference.
Totally. The right drummer can make a good song come to life by inserting energy and swing to it.
Very hard to rank these albums, but I know Horrorscope is my favorite. Flawless.
Love the trilogy! Great videos brother.
Thanks, Jimi. Glad you enjoyed 'em.
@@AgentBeans Better late than never. Thanks for watching the trilogy! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Iron Bound is the best thing since Underground imo. Such a great album!

Just went through their entire catalog over the last month... What are your top 10 or 15 songs? I'm curious...enjoyed your vids on overkill!

Great music to wake up for.
..lol...Killbox is my favorite.
Ha! Sorry. Like I said: Not a bad album.
