Just about to ask you whether you are using the same recorder for your review on vios gx, seems like city are more quiet than vios during hard acceleration..
+MrKentbong Yea. The engine noise does sound less intrusive in the City facelift. And when I accelerate, I really do accelerate with pedals literally to the floor so i think i did it fairly for both cars since I used the same camera.
S mean Sport mode...admin....use with padle shifter..7 speed cvt...

hows the fit and finish quality? any gaps? any weird 'tung' sound as u hit 40kmh when u first drove it?
+effax Everything seems fine as far as the test car is concern no weird sounds and gaps. Nothing to complain about except for the NVH, i find it just so so but what can i expect from a car of that price range. But the engine noise isn't as loud as in the outgoing Vios model under hard acceleration.

+En Haris If City 2017 vs Vios trd, in my humble opinion, i would choose City just because of the engine noise during hard acceleration (vios betul2 sgt bising bila pecut) and also the cvt feels nicer to drive than vios.

Why I get worse mileage with Econ on? Weird
Honestly I think econ doesn't really help.
Louis Siah Yeah. I tested with same driving style and same rpm range and worse mileage. If acceleration slower but better fc okay la but worse hahaha. Turning it off for good.
Because in Econ mode, the car feels weak. In turn, you step on the gas harder to compensate which consumes more fuel

This car is probably the slowest machine i have ever driven. You have to mash the accelerator pedal just to get it moving from a standstill. Avoid this one.
Sir this car is for everyday drive in city and daily long drive not for performance. Sir this car is fuel efficient and performance is enough for city driving and daily long drive.
0-100 in less than 10 seconds 😉
