Toys sell super fast on eBay. I’ve been at it just over a year. Im almost at 800 listings total but I’ve been struggling to hit the 1000 mark. Why??? Because toys sell way faster than I can list them! I’m convinced that toys are the best thing you can sell on eBay...Great video by the way. I concur with all of these tips, but the best way to learn is to get out there and start experimenting. Start with what you know and go from there. It takes work but with some determination and a positive attitude, you will make a significant amount of money.

Couldn't agree more, Evan. You have to get out there and get some hands-on experience to really appreciate how the process works and to know what you have to do. Study the sold listings, then go out and see what you currently have available in your area! It's great to hear you are struggling(although I usually wouldn't say that) because it means you are selling through your inventory well! Best of luck on that road to 1k😁

Everything has a learning curve. Too many people ask questions but honestly you only learn from experience especially when it comes to eBay. Then at that point you can ask questions to tweak your workflow to be more efficient. Those days, I just tell them to go and do it. HAHA. Nice series and I enjoyed it since I do the same thing.

Wonderful way to put it! Most people really will learn this best by doing, being really hands on and making some mistakes along the way.

Then that was such a good experience that I sold just about every broken down car and antiques and motor cycles from my city and local area. I sold my 1990 sprint turbo to a guy that drove over 2000 km to come and get it now that was real crazy. Anyhow long story short started to sell books and CD s with my partner who retired not so long ago. Figured out how to sell in bulk using more then three or four editions on the shelf and did that for 16 years. Sold huge boxes of books shipping all over north America. Then now everyone has retired or shut down. Looking for something different again. Amazon seems really interesting. However that drop shipping just ticked me off something bad more then enought that I would never do it again. I feel in order to make money you and you yourself has to have the product physically there and to ship out.
I scanned a bunch of products for a buyer's price on Amazon and went whow. This is what it sells for. So that peaked my interest. Tell you more later

One other important note about using auctions for toys is that if you have a store subscription on eBay you get at least 250 free auctions in select categories. Toys happens to be one of the categories eligible for the free auctions. I think a lot of sellers probably don't even use the free auctions every month. Myself included. Selling toys gives you a great opportunity to take advantage of those 250, 500 etc free auctions every month.

I use a sold listing as a template for my new listing not because it got the highest price for the item, but because it has the most complete description that I don't have to remember or type out. I customize the listing according to fit my formatting and style, and also so I don't get accused of stealing.

Sadly not every store will have the same selection. Some stores may not receive enough toys to put a lot in the bag, or they may just not get enough good toys in. You may have gone on a day after a toy seller came through as well. Keep trying and checking them out, and see if you may get lucky.
