@@JMC8415 nah, I enjoy my money and what I have is paid. Getting into debt isn't success. I also don't have rich parents or someone assisting my way in life either. All I'm saying is for the normal average Joe who has a real job with a normal shit wage making 40k to 60k a year isn't going to get this done in a year unless he has some help. Not being pessimistic, just being real

Monumental amount of work right there. If it makes you happy/puts a smile on your face then well worth the effort.
It does put a smile on my face. The late nights and time off from YT to do this was worth it.

Beautiful work! For the future, from working at Lowe's, you always use white priming for brighter colors, but when you do things like black, or dark brown, or navy, you use gray primer.

The lighting looks really good, but is it really worth paying 10 times as much electricity for the hexagons when a simpler design could have worked to provide nearly as much light on the edges ?
I had a simpler light and it wasn’t enough with the black walls. I not only wanted more light, but an appealing fixture.
I haven’t noticed any rise in cost because of it either.
Came here for this comment. Depending on where you live and how much you’re in the garage. The difference of 10W lights and this 144W light system can be dramatic. Could easily add $50-$100 a month on your bill. I’m in Cali unfortunately so those stats are not* overestimated.
you can use a kit to remove the dents, the same you use for car panels. it works pretty good and worth a try 😊 nice garage setup man!
I’m a sheet metal mechanic so I’ve taken most off already. I have to drill a couple holes somewhere to pull the other ones out.

Looks good! Yup I had to live with one lightly dented too.
I got tired of sending it back. I took most of it out with a hammer, but it's not 100% unless I work it from the back. I bought these on a 50% sale plus got another 15% off for the inconvenience. I got a good deal at the end of the day.
I want to work on my car in this garage, even if there is no work left on my car. Those hexagon led´s are a great idea, I also have "spot" light which is sometimes a pain if you work on frontend/rearend or by polishing.
Rollers are a breeze for painting large drywalls. For light to dark colors try a (tinted) gray primer as first coat.

Lol i got the big wood top rolling toolbox too from home depot. It was a gift ftom my wife... it also came damaged. Lol! Home depot seems pretty rough with their shipping and handling.

Very nice. The only thing missing is a Genie or Chamberlain wall-mounted garage door opener. Being able to remove the current motor and track you have up there, would go a long way towards that modern look you have going on.

Those Husky cabinets are notorious for having dents lol. I got the heavy duty model set and one cabinet came damaged, I called HD and they said we can order you another or give you a $450 discount. I kept the dented one.
Funny, I used red Craftsman cabinets for my garage, two were damaged. After taking them back, I opened the replacement boxes and inspected them before leaving Lowes.
I just completed a full detailing garage (22 X 30) with build in water (hot and cold), floor drain, dedicated line for a wall mounted pressure washer, heat pump, trusscore material for my floors and ceiling and I love what you have done. I am debating what to do with my floors. If I didn't constantly spray water and all the gunk, I would do a floor like this but I am leaning more toward an epoxy with sand blasting or polished concrete but this is a really nice garage!

@@ZillaFullBoost my garage is 20' by 40' , the link you put for these tiles the way a i calculate it would cost me around 7000$ US which doesnt make sense for just a plastic floor ? they seem to be 12" x 12" on the site but yours seem to be more like 16" x16" ? am i missing something..
@@rochlanteigne5123 mine are 12”x12”. They come in packs of like 48. You need a total of 800 tiles for your 800 sqft which totals out to about $3192

Always start your movement before hitting the trigger when spraying things. Same when you stop. Trigger stop first. But keep moving in direction.
Same as panning a camera.

Get a spring and pulley and install it on the inside of your attic door to make that attic door rope disappear.and make a dowel stick with a screw-in hook on the end to pull it down with.

@@ZillaFullBoost it's what I do with all my attic door ropes and btw you'll also need a keyring for the end of the rope that hangs down from the attic door hole to grab with the hook on the end of the stick

Those dents are from the strapping it to the side of a box truck. They are just over tightening them to the point of crushing the cabinet.

Looks amazing, you can do anything if you’re motivated enough! I hope it’s everything you envisioned man. A word from the wise, next time… when you scale up and get your next house… measure. Measure everything. Plot and frame everything. Call up a contractor to come and draft up the blueprint/layout so you know going in what to avoid. I respect this garage and your motivation, you did a great job bro. Hope the next one is easier with the knowledge you gained on this project!

Would recommend finding a solution to holding down the floor panels, they move when you drive in or out so you could crack some with the Florida heat and enough pressure from exiting or entering the garage. Also, after seeing you spend as much money as you have, I am sincerely hoping that I am misjudging your garage door opener as a chain driven opener. If it is chain driven, switch to belt driven, you'll thank me later.

Look at a side mounted Garage Door motor. They clean up the look a lot and remove anything unnecessary above any cars!!

Nice, I have some final touches to do still. My garage is 20x20. I bought the cabinets when Home Depot had them for 50% off. I got an additional 15% for the damage and inconvenience.

I ordered the same series of cabinets and had the same experience. It sounds like you've done some repair yourself, but there's a phone number in the boxes you can call and basically make a damage claim (not HD, it's the manufacture, HD is not very helpful). They sent me new doors for 3 out of 4 on the tall cabinets, even a new hinge for one that was busted. Other than not being able to ship them without damage, they're really nice!
I tried to get replacement doors and they said they couldn’t send any for some reason. They wanted the whole unit again.
I’ve extracted as much as I can from them for the inconvenience on top of the already discounted rate when they were on sale.
And I agree they are some nice cabinets when they don’t come damaged 🥲
