What irritates me is here u can see the sky looks blue and vibrant, in the show it looks it had a fog filter on it. Like why?? Most episodes had this fog filter on it, they used 3d technology on dragonstone, daemon in ep3 had so much fog around him, the sunset background in most scenes looked cgi and fake..

I'm gonna miss Milly & Emily for their phenomenal roles as Young Rhaenyra & Young Alicent. I hope the older actresses keep up with the amazing work done by these 2.
I know Olivia Cook will do a great job, she was great in Bates Motel. Havent seen anything Emma D'Arcy been in so.. I can't say on that one.
I am gonna miss Milly Alcock as Rhaenyra she did a wonderful job. The character came to life because of her.
Actors. Also they cast Emma first, Milly was the one who had big shoes to fill.
@@BriarPatchNyra but for the viewers we saw young Rhaenyra first, she gave us an engaging (attaching too) main character, so to us it’s adult rhaenyra that needs to fill the shoes

Edit: I guess we're as much into the soap opera as we are into the dragons and battle sequences.
Clare is awesome. I thought Episode 4 was really impressive in how it handled certain topics without ever feeling exploitative or designed for shock value.

After the amazing episode 4 I'm very glad Clare Kilner directed episode 9, we all know how intriguing the GoT 9th episodes were. I hope they're doing the same with this show. I want an episode 9 that gets me glued on tv & on the edge of my seat. 💯🔥🔥

What a fantastic series. You can tell Martin’s helped a lot with the show. Episode 4 really reminded me of a season 2/3 episode. The writing and direction were brilliant!

After watching the animated history of The Dance of the Dragons on TH-cam with Joffrey narrating Rhaenyra's final fate, I came to realize everyone are jerks except Laena. She's Shireen in this era.
Leana is pure! She was more of a flying friend to Vhagar than a master that uses her for destruction, unlike some other riders…

I always look beyond the plot or story, I look at all the creativity of the writers, set design, scenery, the visual, the sound effect, background music it’s always a completely total immersive experience for me. This series goes above and beyond. To all those involved just brilliant and thank you💯👍

If you live outside the US you should be able to watch this behind the scenes episode complete, they just take longer to be available, usually after a week you can find it. It is in a section called Collection: Westeros world (or something like that).
This show is fantastic!! Please keep up the good work with writing and keeping it true to the spirit of the books and the world of Westeros.

HBO Go is available in more countries. Not sure if it's available in your country but it does have the behind the scenes episodes simultaneously released with the HOTD episode.

That bluescreen didn't look very good especially when you watch it on a HD tv. That sundown backlight didn't spill naturally over the characters and was momentarily distracting.

There are no giants in HOTD. The Wall is not involved in the show.

and a ship that the only things that matters is that it looks nice on tv, the difference is a lot of money, engineers, and a lot of time, they are not ship builders.

CGI is a complicated genre to pull off, but there's people out there that loathes the time jump and the change of actress already just 'cause they fanboy the present one.. that they should've used CGI to make Milly Alcock look older because Emma D'Arcy looks nothing like her. But then if they did use CGI on actors' faces they'd criticize every bit of it.
CGIing Milly to look older is the worst idea I've ever heard she's gone get over it Emma will be better than Milly move on!!!

Cgi it's good enough, keep in mind that this is season 1, they are testing the waters and if it's worth investing more in it, Game of Thrones season 1 had a very low budget, that's why you don't see any big fights, only the aftermath, by season 2-3 if the ratings are good, it's going to improve

Too many scenes in this show is meaningless. In GoT season 1 every scene every line of dialogue affected the plot and carried the story forward. A lot of stuff here is visually cool but doesn’t add to the story.
what are you talking about? every scene is very thoughtful and filled with symbolism, if only you know what to look for. This is the epitome of “show, don’t tell” storytelling. The seemingly meaningless scenes and shots help explain a lot about a character’s thoughts and feelings, as well as foreshadowing. This is a visual medium and that is the way to add depth and detail to a story that can’t be supplemented and carried by a book.
The actors are just… so bad. Nothing like GoT
