Killer Steve! I have a blacked out 2020 RG/SPC with Factory 47's and I thought was the #&^#, I don't like the new HD stock bike looks but the ST with changes like the Kraus Tbars make it look like a race car!!
i would love to see you do this on a street glide steve!!! i have a 2021 street glide i been wanting to do T BARS but i havn't seen a good video Please do these bars on a street glide
Hey ryan...I would more than happy too if I can get one in here that wants t bars...t bars are mainly installed on RG's so its difficult to find one. But as soon as I get one ill be sure to do video.
Thanks for the video. I have a 23 ST and will be doing a T-Bar setup as well down the road. I was looking the other day on TH-cam for a good full install video but only found some half ass ones. My only worry is my clutch cable looks a little short on my bike.
Steve I saw you extended the Speedo harness. Did you need to extend the switch housing harness to get it all cleanly tucked behind the headlight area? Excellent video.
Great video Steve. Do you have a video of why one would chose the T bar setup over ape hangers? I am curious of the differences besides the obvious overall look.
I dont have a video on it but really it all comes down to looks...it all stemmed from the performance bagger world of racing these big ole bikes....but for everyday riding...its really just a looks thing...the only problem is the price is probably close to triple to do this set up versus a standard ape set, which kinda sucks
Great video bud. One question about the ignition switch you had removed. Is there a certain position to put it in so you can ride it to Harley to get the flash you mentioned? Or is this something you do prior to changing it out?
Thak you...you really should have this done before you pull the switch itself. It only takes them about 5 minutes to flash it over ot the switch. than you dont have to worry about anything when you are removing it.
Great video, would you have a comparison video down the road on the pros and cons of the Kraus setup? Being in the market for one can’t decide which brand to buy Kraus, Thrashin or even rebuffini !
well all of those are all good set ups...im getting ready to shoot a video on a cheaper alternative from a very reputible company ...the issue with most of these style bar set ups is the price...for instance this set up was close to 3500 ...shoowee! Thats expensive!! ...the one im getting ready to do gets you basically the same look at more around 1000 bucks. For your question though, really just pick the one you like where the gauges are...because the rest is all pretty much the same.
If you don’t mind do you know where I could find a manual on a 2022 street glide with torque specs as well as a how to? Like take tank off, take front wheel off etc…. Thank you in advance Best regards,
2021-2023 Road Glide: 10 & 12" tall bars can be installed without replacing your brake and clutch and without extending your electrical system. 2015-2020 Road Glide: 10, 12", and 14" tall bars can be installed without replacing your brake and clutch and without extending your electrical. EDIT I screwed up writing the last year there...sorry
I understand they aren't for everyone but still yet they are a really popular upgrade for a lot of riders. Just trying to show everyone the options they have and provide a detailed install in case it is something you want to to do..its all about saving money on installs. Thanks for checking it out!
Great video as always, you are definitely the go to channel for all things bagger! Just not impressed with this product in any way. Completely obscures the dash and having the gauges just dangling off the bars like a pancaked ball sack makes even less design/functional sense. NOT a good product for the RG at all. It detracts from form & function rather than adding to it. Again, you are the man! The product just sucks🤮
Thank you ! Yeah I understand it not for everyone...I thought the design was pretty innovative compare to the ones mounted on top that blocks everything on the dash..with them hanging down like a ballsack (LMAO) I can sit on the bike at least see my other gauges and the radio...very limited to where you can put them...just trying to show everyone options that are out there.

That was a really informative and interesting video. Great job as always.
Thank you Stuart! Glad to help!
Very Nice Steve! pretty slick set up! Excellent video!
Thank you sir...these were pretty pricey and way over my budget for bars but they did turn out pretty sweet
Great video Steve , I really appreciate your content !! Very helpful.

ill be doing another video here soon on the Arlen Ness t bars...and I will try to explain it there how t fix that issue.
Yes please and thank you. I really don’t want to buy a longer cable and deal with that. lol
You make things like this look so easy!!!! I wish I had your skills, but I just don’t.
Hey Bob...thats why we make the videos..if you follow along you should be able to get the job done...thats my hopes anyway
@@sikbaggers thanks Steve!

Excellent video.
No you dont have to extend those, the clips will still be on the outside thats why i wrapped them in the tessa tape so you dont see it.

@@sikbaggers Thank you so much for the feedback
Could you have gone with LED Gauges? Also maybe the CD Baja Style headlights?
Well you can..but that's not what I had to install for this customer.
Great video! What size are the risers used for the install?
10" pro kit...links are in the description
If youre balling on a budget like me, Arlen Ness makes a t-bar set up for half the price ish
Exactly what I'm installing next week on our rg st.. the arlen ness set up is nice and yes...very different price
@@sikbaggers good shit be curious to see any difference in the install between the two

@@toddohmes8720 yes sir! Youre very welcome.
Can I get my bike flashed to cvo ignition before I do the install?
you need to have it flashed first...once you remove the ignition you will no longer be able to turn it on if you dont
@@sikbaggers sounds good Thanks 👍🏼👍🏼
Isn’t the kraus emblem on the top clamp supposed to be on right side?
Sure either way you want..its a top clamp..its the same either way
How many inches can a normal cable be used?

Steve it looks like road glides are a hugh pain in the ass to work on
lol id rather do RGs than SGs any day...so much easier to get to the wiring and handlebar clamp but any handlebars are a pain in the ass lol
Agreed! I have a RG… and yes, they are a pain… but I love it! 😅
I'll be so glad when the snowmobile risers on Harleys fad goes away. It's like a cancer. Every custom is the same tired look.

The look is great, but the fact that you can not see your display is terrible.
With them mounted high you can't see the radio..where they are now you clearly can.
