I’ve never heard of Pepaamento language before, we learn everyday . It’s good to hear that the locals speak more than one language. I’m learning a lot about Aruba through watching your Aruba segments . The view of island itself is Breathtaking and I’m glad to hear that you felt safe as a Solo woman traveler.

I heard of it when I was working in hotels and some guests were talking among themselves and I was so fascinated because the language was so beautiful and I asked what language they were speaking. It is definitely one of the most beautiful languages I have ever heard and working in hotels in New Orleans I have heard quite a few.
Aruba has some really cool facts about it. Reminds me of the Bahamas. I was surprised to learn on a tour everyone owns their home outright and has it built from the ground up. They don’t do loans. People have their houses built based on what they can afford. The islands are onto something. Great video as always.

The beaches there look so beautiful! The color of the water is so dreamy... Now I really want to visit it one day ~

Minor correction. The V tag on rentable cars does not stand for Visitors (since locals can also make use of them), it stands for Verhuur which is Dutch for Rental.
Some locals told me V stood for visitor but I guess that is their correlation to most people driving rental cars are probably visitors. Thanks for this!
Omg.. that’s too funny. That’s exactly what happened when I visited Aruba. I was so impressed that the excursion bus driver gave the instructions in five languages. I was saying how smart he was. Then someone told me that everyone has to learn 5 languages. I also discovered everyone has to learn how to swim in order to graduate high school. I didn’t know everyone had to have a job and residents could only go to the casinos twice a month. I also felt mor safe in Aruba then I do when I work downtown in Dallas. Great video as always.
Oh yes definitely felt way more safe in Aruba than being in the US. Actually on one tour, the guide asked what was going on in the US. He said it is too dangerous there. All I could say is, you're right.
Wow, I did not know Aruba was a sustainable island. I have never heard of that before. I think it’s great. I am glad to hear about the low crime. I love learning languages. This is great! I am glad you mentioned tipping. Europe is the same way.
It really is! It shows they care about not just their people, but all. And yes, they have an entire section on their website that lays out their sustainability. But the best part is that I saw that in action on the island. Thanks for watching!
I read on the Aruba website that an online ED card is mandatory for entry into the country. It must be completed from 7 days up to 3 hours before your flight. Did you have to complete this online form?
Yes I did have to complete this form. I completed it right at the 7 day mark before going. I had no idea they would still be doing this over a year later as I thought this was COVID related. Here is the link for the form: edcardaruba.aw/.

Yeah the Turks and Caicos was similar. Like they do nothing on credit. All cash. Very good concepts and better living. Thanks for watching!

Looks like I need to start reading what's in my sunscreen. I just try to use sunscreen that doesn't make me change colors😅

The beaches are beautiful and I like the fact that they have nets to keep the sharks from attacking the tourists
