I did forget Hot Toys Optimus existed, but the wing pack connection reminded me of it, as well as the utter commotion it caused for some people who were upset because they thought that movie Optimus's homicidal tendencies were going to be the norm.
These are really well made. I'm not huge on Screamer's aesthetic here... no articulation on the wings, those hoof-y feet... the null-rays being solid black. I wish his wing-blades had energon blade effects. And yes, he needed a stand. That price, oof. Getting three seekers is a big investment. I really, reeeeally want to see their Soundwave.
The wing pack on mine can get knocked off but it’s not loose at all, and I’ve only had it fall off once or twice. He’s by far my favorite of the line so far, I love the design and he feels great in hand. I can’t wait to fill out more of the line, sideswipe and Jazz look perfect and I hope we get soundwave and shockwave after the other seekers to fill out the decepticons. I also wouldn’t mind a sunstorm out of this mold, always loved that color scheme.

Great review. The ankles on this guy really frustrate the heck out of me. They appear to be a double ball joint almost like the ankle is a neck joint and the figure is incredibly back heavy even without the wing pack. In addition, I can't get one of his feet, or rather the toes of the feet to lay quite flat. it's odd. I have no eyesight and trying to understand how to put those wing blades on is a nightmare. I think they go at the bottom of the pack in the slightly thinner sections, but they're incredibly wobbly and don't lock into place. I also have a loose wing pack so the whole thing feels quite fragile. I might end up tightening the pack with some of my wifes nale varnish and leaving the blades either off, or in his hands. Overall though loving this line, just have bumblebee and rodimus to get now.
I love your stuff man, but I'm pretty sure those double ball barbell balls joints could be called dumbells. That's what they were called way back in the ago. Plus, it might be easier to spit out. Peace!
