Don't be stupid....that's a massive dog, with tons of fear and insecurity. If you're a dog owner, you'd see it....puppy or not.
I love what Vanessa said about breed temperaments. It is so important to keep in mind what each breed was bred to do, not just for bully breeds, but all breeds. Regardless of how well trained any dog is, some behaviors in dogs are instinctual and sometimes you don't know what situations will trigger those instincts. It's always better to be informed and cautious than to accidentally allow your dog to find themselves in a situation where they end up hurting themselves, someone else, or another animal
Exactly. People love to say “it’s all in how you raise them,” or “it’s the owner, not the dog” if something goes wrong. But genetics are so important in an animal’s behavior. Ignoring that fact is setting everyone up for failure. I’m so glad Vanessa talked about this.
@@TheLastCrumb. on the opposite side, people will buy certain breeds based off of generalized personality traits (like pitties- loyal, won't bite you unless you consistently abuse but u can abuse their strong nature without fail to appear stronger). many bad people get certain breeds for bad reasons and this will make it seem like there are more bad cases (meanwhile goldens are usually gotten as family dogs yet they bite just as much as pitties in terms of cases). that the root?

The noises the dog makes are so sweet during the bath she sounds like a baby horse😂❤ but then again comes back to her original puppy voice, she definitely is only scared without any signs of warning. She is literally begging for her life❤
My family has a bully. I don't get to visit very often but I noticed over the last few years as my balance has gotten risky she comes close to guard me from the younger dogs and provide support until I get to a seat. Then she also gets first dibs at kisses, too ❤️
I have a half staffie half american and she just accepts her fate 😂😂 has since day 1. Now the dryer is another story. She makes a run for it when that comes 😂😂
Mine was ok with bath time. I used to take her to those washes for doggos and she liked it. I tried to dry her once and that was it. I just put down towels in my back seat and that was fine.
Reminds me of a boxer I once knew named Rose. She was the friendliest dog in the world and thought she was half the size & weight she really was. As a kid I found her combined enthusiasm & density rather intimidating 😅 she was pure muscle & could knock you over just trying to be friendly.
I was at the store thee other day and a dog of that breed had service animal equipment on and tried to attack me before it even got in the store fortunately I was not very close to it, the guy who had it just picked it up by a handle on the harness and carried it into the store while it was still trying to fight.
She looks like a pit puppy I met once (I think she was a pit, she might have been an XL bully from how similar she looks). Sweetest dog ever, but taught me in an instant why they're so dangerous. No, she didn't attack. She just jumped on me and begged for pets, and petting that four- or five-month-old body was like petting a granite statue. Their muscles are just built different, and if you're not very strong and don't start very early, chances are they'll do what they want when they want. Also, since they're so strong, even if they're just defending themselves, they're likely to come out way better off than the dog that attacked them. If a dog attacks a pit or XLB, the attacker is much more likely to suffer injury than its intended victim.
There is an XL Bully puppy currently being trained by the same trainer as my Mastiff puppy. They are in a 6-week board and train program. Gus is still fairly short when compared to my Molly, but I can see the potential power in his body. Our trainer does general obedience, but specializes in service dog and protection/police dog training. Molly will be my service dog. Even if Gus just gets general obedience training, he will be set up to be a wonderful pet his entire life.
I've had a new dog in my life - Yota. He is near the same exact dog, same age too. He is an absolute sweetheart, wiggles his butt all around, always happy, always joyful, big time goofball, kindof dumb sometimes 😅, but survives and protects my mountain from deer and alerts of larger critters. Easily trainable, but can't be away from owner too long. Whines a bit, but still a puppy. Likes sticks most of all, and we have a lot of that in the woods. Very proud of his sticks, loves fetch, hides his treats and toys, and sleeps most of the night outside by house without too much commotion. Loves affection & attention. Delicate taking treats from my hand. Great with everyone. Calmed down a bit after getting fixed. Puppy dog eyes that melt the heart...very sweet & loyal dog.
I live in England and my best friends daughter was mauled by one of these in a park, they're rightfully banned in this country and should be outlawed everywhere, they kill and maim so many people and the breeders do evil things like breed them with other breeds to hide their true breed so more people buy them without realising how dangerous they are, TRULY EVIL
I still miss my rescue pit. Otto was the best boi ever, and he would run through every lawn sprinkler but HATED walking in the rain. Baths were anathema also. He lived to seventeen. And he was raised by our cat, so not a problem with other dogs and cats. Yes, they are happy dogs!
Mine didn't HATE the rain but man when it snowed, I couldn't drag her outside to do her business. I'm like listen this is frozen rain and you love baths at the dog wash! She was so silly!
I have mad respect for people who rescue Pits, they are in such high need due to the fact that there's such a stigma against their breed. Not to mention that unfortunately because they are often used as puppy mill/fighting/bait dogs, you really take a gamble on a Pit with an unknown history, but they deserve a chance at a happy life. No one will ever shame me into being anti-Pit.
Oh my, what wonderful memories the beautiful Rosie brought back for me!! ❤ My Rutherford, who was a SharPei, was exactly the same for the bath. Noises and all!! LOL!! Thank you for all the videos you do, but especially for this one.

As a Pitbull owner I have to applaud this young lady's tenacity and dedication to her craft as well as her love dogs of all breeds. As an owner of a Pitbull I couldn't agree more with her comments, observations, recommendations and yes, warnings about the overall "breed" of dogs under the heading of Bully Breed. However, all this being said, the same piece of advice can and should be suggested for every dog owner out there...I have come across countless people who know nothing about truly being a responsible dog owner by what I have observed watching them walk their dogs on the shared public streets of the town I live in. Last comment here: That pup was one beautiful, sweet and athletic dog.
Right? She's absolutely gorgeous & makes me miss the pitties we had when I was growing up. Sadly, where I live now, they've been made the victims of that smear campaign of "breed specific legislation", so I can't have one despite that 99.9% of the pitties/pittie mixes I've ever known have been total derpy love-bugs.
I grew up with staffies and bullies... i can confirm they are very vocal and very loving. I'd have screams of excitement when i get home, huffs and sighs if i dont give cuddles, whines of annoyance if I dont play with them. They also gave the best hugs known to man, and would sleep all day in my arms if i let them 😂❤
I have a mix that I am pretty sure has some staffie in her. I can attest to the sighs and huffs and eye rolls, the drama is real with them and cuddles are a necessity!

OMG. She looks exactly like my Casey. Sweetest dog I ever had. Big soft brown eyes very strong, very vocal, excitable. Did NOT like to be left in the back of a pick up truck. (She was in no danger) She let me know this by jumping into the cab and eating my upholstery. Miss her terribly.
Rosie-"You're hiding a dog down your throat...I MUST RESCUE IT"
4:32 Rosie comforts herself by working on her bird calls. Here we hear the still-in-progress tremolo call of the Common Loon.
Yes! I was just thinking it sounded exactly like a loon impression lmaoo
She's adorable! So much variety in her vocalizations!
An unusually vocal client! What vocals! What roulades!!!
I had to look that word up.... Nicely put! 💛
Oh dog noise to draw her attention is so smart, she's so baffled every time. She's a sad little wiggle-worm but I know as soon as the groom is over she's the happiest baby!
Instead of biting she just gave kisses!!! More well behaved than a lot of dogs. They get such a bad reputation. ❤❤❤❤I love them so much.
She tried so hard to put up with the scary water and toe clipping! All she wants is love ❤❤.
Her bark is exactly like my weimaraners bark was, as we approached grandma and grandpa's house out of excitement 😂 I miss my boy. Rosie is a cutie.
Oh, those gorgeous silver bullets
@@Scriptadiaboly They truly are beautiful. That silvery fur, with amber eyes. So unique. I had him for almost 14 years. He was a wonderful dog, full of energy, but wonderful lol
That's one strange looking yet very adorable pterodactyl, lol. ❤
This is my pittie/mastiff mix 5:41 girl to a T. She’s the sweetest dog ever but such a diva!
2:37 we need to not lose our mind with the dryer
Rosie: well, I might as well start now
I adopted a three legged dog, just like this. Absolute best dog! She passed away six years ago I think about her every day she still makes me smile.❤❤❤
I'm sorry about your doggo 😞
@@SkyeID no need to apologize at all. All sentient or living beings pass away. I am grateful I got to love her. I am grateful she got to love me. I am grateful for every memory of her. Please be well and happy. May you be blessed. 🙏🙏🙏~ her name was Mookie
Poor Rosie 😭 She’ll never forget this lol. At least she’ll be a clean, happy girl though 💜
1:38 that is one heck of a bark or whatever that is . Sounds partly like a horse and partly I don’t know what. ❤❤😂😂
Dolphin? Turkey? Turphin?
@@chocolatefrenzieya Dorkey 🤯
What an absolute sweetheart of a dog, she has made me laugh so much, and her comments were hilarious, she was so loud as well, your poor eardrums certainly took a beating, thank you for sharing Rosie with us xx
Then she also gets first dibs at kisses, too ❤️
That’s a good trade off:)
We need to see more of Rosie in the future. She is adorable!
I work in a shelter. This is so typical for me. Love it. Keep posting for us.
OMG - I laughed so hard along with sweet Rosie's vocalizations. So cute!!
I've got a Staffordshire Terrier that is the exact opposite of her at bathtime. I used to not be able to shower by myself for a while.
Mine loves ocean, river and pools...but hates baths.
You lucked out. Mine says bath time is inhumane behavior banned by the Geneva Convention.
@@JaCoCopclean water?!? Yuck. - most doggos😂
Rosie and your sence of humor are just beyond hilarious
Even through she was clearly very nervous she was still a sweetie pie, even giving you kisses. Thank you for educating people!
Reminds me of a boxer I once knew named Rose. She was the friendliest dog in the world and thought she was half the size & weight she really was. As a kid I found her combined enthusiasm & density rather intimidating 😅 she was pure muscle & could knock you over just trying to be friendly.
I often find that pits are better around people they know than other breeds (especially smaller dogs).
Rosie: "I will never be as fearsome as that water nozzle or the blow dryer... that's sheer terror!"🥴
That’s the most terrifying turkey I’ve ever seen. Where’s her feathers? Poor sweet girl 😂
I was at the store thee other day and a dog of that breed had service animal equipment on and tried to attack me before it even got in the store fortunately I was not very close to it, the guy who had it just picked it up by a handle on the harness and carried it into the store while it was still trying to fight.
OMG how silly... and adorable at the same time.
I live in CO and there are an abundance of this breed here. Some nice but many super scary mean aggressive ones.
I never heard such sound coming out of a dog before omg
Sounded like a horse 😄
It’s a typical staffie whine. It’s relentless. Part donkey part cockerel
@@spicyskyraisin7745so funny 😅
Ahh the pittie wiggles, a classic!
Those dolphin noises were something else though LOL
Such a Beautiful girl. I have had rescued pitties for the past 12 years. Best dogs ever!❤
This is the most 🥺 dolphin I have ever seen
I’m so glad you give advice and information for pet owners and future pet owners.
Right she flat said they may need to be kept away from other animals
Omg…Rosie brought the prehistoric sounds and all the drama today…😂😂😂😂…too adorable!!!
"Rosie is dying"😂😭❤❤❤ i fell absolutely in love with her, what an adorable puppy
Omg, she is such a baby! Thank you for being part of her experience and growth!
Rosie is so vocal haha 😂❤ 5:04 ‘yes I am a pretend dog!?!!!’
She sounds like she’s ready to rev up and get out of there😂
I've had a new dog in my life - Yota.
0:35 I AM LITERALLY DYING WOMAN lol so cute
The pibble warble-woos are so expressive and heart-rending and often 99% dramatic...
Rosie is such a beautiful, sweet baby ❤❤❤
I live in England and my best friends daughter was mauled by one of these in a park, they're rightfully banned in this country and should be outlawed everywhere, they kill and maim so many people and the breeders do evil things like breed them with other breeds to hide their true breed so more people buy them without realising how dangerous they are, TRULY EVIL
We call them bird calls in our house 😂 what a sweet girl ❤❤
Yep. They are dramatic, solar-nap-powered, kissy cuddle bugs. Who happen to be densely muscled and completely unaware of their weight.
1:31 Rosie becomes Curly from the 3 Stooges 😆
😆😆😆💀
00:11 also the most ticklish apparently 😊
Activated all the dopamine in one rub lol
The level of noise Rosie can make with a barely open mouth is impressive. My condolences to the parents, and the neighbours.
All the drama 😂 What a sweet girl ❤
4:43 precious 🥹
Oh my, what wonderful memories the beautiful Rosie brought back for me!! ❤ My Rutherford, who was a SharPei, was exactly the same for the bath. Noises and all!!
LOL!! Thank you for all the videos you do, but especially for this one.
That warble! I love her warble-speech!
As dramatic as a husky!
Indicator of higher emotional intelligence!
I’ve owned pitts and bullys all my life and they were always vocal
im going to CRY she's so precious omggggg
A plug-ugly dog, with no manners, from a breed created for an ugly purpose. But she didn't seem have much malice in her.
@@jennypratt5345the dog seems to be more well mannered than you, though. You feel better after leaving this comment?
@@the.nerdy.mermaid There was nothing at all in my comment which wasn't entirely well mannered and 100% truth.
Your comment, on the other hand, is unpleasant and decidedly ill-mannered - as well as aggressive.
@@the.nerdy.mermaid I'm sure you feel better after that entirely unjustified burst of aggresssion.
@@jennypratt5345 The only problem with pitbulls is that they're often bought by people who can't control any dog, much less one that strong. Other than that, they're perfectly fine

That pup was one beautiful, sweet and athletic dog.
That super scawwy bark!
She is so cute!
3:15. This PSA is highly necessary. 💜
My brother’s family has had several of these dogs. They are hilarious and wonderful!
Rosie is a beauty in more ways than one and thankfully has been raised and trained in the right way. 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️🤩🤩🤩
I know! She made her displeasure KNOWN, but never did anything aggressive. ❤
I own a pittie/lab/staffie mix. Damn is he vocal and has a really large range of vocalizations depending on what he is trying to tell me. He is 10 months old, and 62lbs.... pretty much a sausage with a cute face.
Nope. In my country these dogs have been banned on account of them killing several people, including a number of children. Amazed to see Vanessa promoting them.
@@Sundae_Times And whose fault is that? Don't blame the dogs for their violent behavior when it was unethical breeding and poor ownership that led to it.
@@americansteve2585 Nice straw man fallacy. Is that all you have?
