I know this sounds dumb, but i recommend climbing the block, going down like 0.2 studs, clicking . or , three times, then delay jump in order to do long jumps
(It helps lol i did a 13.4 stud jump with the method

U go on the edge until u get the climb animation then jump while shift locking and when u fall don't get shift lock
Fun fact: you can actually do a 5 stud jump without jumping I did it multiple times [its timing]
