With time and a soft touch on the throw, Bo is still one of the best 10 years later. Give him a potent offensive line and solid RB and he could be back on top. Nice to see this fine aerial display no matter.
I think that late elbow to the helmet was more than "a touch" eh? And the first one, leading with the helmet & hitting the QB's head = flag every time.
He lead with his helmet & hit the QB on the head, flag every time. The late one was also justified, you simply cannot hit the QB with an elbow to the head, not ever.
Imagine firing a qb and two years later being scored 5 TD by said qb... Only topped by the Riders: the last three Grey Cups have been won by the last qb they fired (including BOTH playing it last year).
That the ball continues to be live after a pass hits the uprights is crazy, I have to imagine some team has scored an hilarious td at some point this way no? What a rule! Rarely happens, had another weird sitch where the defence forced a fumble that went 40 yards forward and then out the back of the endzone where the offence kept the ball because the defence just couldn't touch it inbounds, nuts
@@mattt2277 I believe that's the case, even if it deflects into someone's hands it's a dead ball. On a field goal or PAT if it deflects in it's ok (a score), but out is a dead ball.
Hamilton just picked apart Calgary's defense. The way Hamilton played today, I would have thought they were playoff bound. Guess it took them all season to get it together. Of course, Calgary is the worst team this year. Glad to see the Elks did better than the Stampeders. 🇨🇦
The roughing the passer penalty at the 1:38 mark of the video is one of the worst calls of the season so far like bo levi Mitchell barely got even touched like they really protecting quarterbacks like that nowadays it's gotten to the point that there's no point in even having defensive players in the field in both the NFL and the CFL if they're going to have those type of calls and that is coming from a Hamilton tiger cats fan that was brutal to watch.
@@Soundersfan2023 I think the new rule is ANY helmet to QB helmet that is possible to avoid (which this easily was) will draw a flag. Even a 'glancing blow' can be damaging, so zero tolerance.
This highlight showed, in my eyes, 2 terrible calls and a no call holding against Hamilton. I was just cursing out my phone over the pass interference and roughing the passer and a missed holding. I have found my team and I am going to start researching everything about The Hamilton Tiger Cats. Thank you CFL and everyone who gave great suggestions.
I agree. As an American fan of the CFL, I enjoy all these highlights, but as a former ref and umpire (not football, though), I always watch refereeing closely. This was not a well refereed game, as least based on the highlights.
Hitting the QB with your helmet or elbow will draw a flag every time. They may have been "weak" in that the QB wasn't knocked unconscious? But that shouldn't be the reason to throw a flag, eh? 2 Refs talking after a play: Why didn't you throw a flag there? The QB was still moving on his own.
@5Cats you think the hit on blm where he didn't even fall over was roughing? I'm all for safety, but that's just stupid. The second hit, too qualify, has to be late. He just got rid of the ball and was hit. Unless there's an angle not shown here, the timing was perfectly legal
@@mattt2277 Helmet to QB helmet has been zero tolerance all season long. "Accidentally" banging the QB in the head is NOT allowed any longer. Thanks for the game highlights; go CFL go.
Thanks for the highlights CFL.

Thanks for posting. Ticats looked great. Precision passing except for one interception.

@@icywicypoo Alright, it would be great to see a stellar year with Bo Levi and the offensive in 2025
@@adyear3168 for sure, if our defence can start tackling we will be a top team
Good for the Hamilton fans, the players and Bo. From Winnipeg. Sorry we couldn’t beat T.O last eeek for ya.
Time to change those roughing the passer calls to 'touching the passer'.
I think that late elbow to the helmet was more than "a touch" eh? And the first one, leading with the helmet & hitting the QB's head = flag every time.
😂😂😂😂🏈no kidding eh?😮 Jack in Ottawa 🍁
That pretty much sums up the Stamps season an ineffective Offence and a soft Defense.
it's crazy not seeing bo in a stamps uniform
That was the worst roughing the passer call I've ever seen against Calgary! He wasn't even taken to the turf! 1:26
Both were pretty weak

Hamilton That's Great!

The ball is dead once it hits the upright, so no team has ever scored this way.

Stampeders are sleeeeeping still ...
🖤💛
Idk why Stamps do this? Wait for the last minute to play but little too late
Perhaps Hamilton put loads of second-stringers into the defense? IDK.
Bo!

Helmet hits on the QB are not tolerated. He needed to be far more careful than that. It almost looked "accidentally" deliberate.
@@5Cats it wasn't helmet to helmet it was a glancing blow it wasn't a full hit that's why I didn't think it was a good call.

How to join CFL sir
Calgary still think was 2020 -- and sent carboard cutouts to play "defense" in the first half? They really stunk it up.
When it means nothing they play well..yup a ticat game
Stamps D seemed to miss most of the first half.
That roughing the passer call, before Hamilton TD, was pathetic
