Hi Ginger, I LOVE your tutorials and projects. I am learning new skills. You explain very clear step by step. Thank you so much for teaching and showing us on TH-cam. I look forward to many more tutorials and projects you make. 😄🤗❤️
Thank you Ginger. Moving , AND you still have time to do a tutorial for your followers ! Awesome. I still would love to learn how to do the first file folder you showed with Raining Cats and Dogs. When you have time :) Hope your move goes well, and you get settled in ok. Moving is always stressful. Good luck, be well, see you when you are settled.
Thank you for the nice 👍🏻 tutorial for this lovely and simple file folder mini album. Since I have a lot of file folders I want to make a lot to give out for Easter 🐣 holiday 😍
Thank you so much Ginger for making the tutorial for your very CUTE File Folder!! My daughter, nieces and daughters friends are going to love it!! It is so Adorable! Thank you for the Love you give to your craft and us by making the tutorial!!!!
Hi ginger I want to say I have been watching your video for over a year now and made many of your albums this one is awesome as well thank you for. Inspiring me keep doing you I will be trying this one as well have a wonderful weekend hugs tina
Thanks so much, Ginger, for taking the time under not so great of circumstances to do this for us! I hope you aren’t moving far because I hope you will continue to do live workshops like you did at RwS.
Good luck on your move and thank you for taking the time making this video. You are awesome. So glad the scoreboard was made because I am not sure I would try and make an album. LOL. Thank you very much for sharing your talent with us.
No wonder you have such a huge following...you are so generous with your tutorials and your projects are so inspiring! I love the simplicity of this design, Ginger. And you are moving? And doing a tutorial? Where do you hang your super hero cape at night? LOL Seriously, thanks for another fabulous project! xoxoxoxo
You are probably one of my favorite designers. Laura's Craft Zone is another. You make all your tutorials great to follow. You are so talented. I love all your projects. I can't really think of one I don't like and believe me I think I've watched just about all of them. I wish you would teach a class in the Chicagoland area. But until then I have you tube. Tfs.
Thank you! I've been looking for a small album tutorial that was easy enough to make with my kids for the end of their sports season so they can each do their favorite moments of the wrestling season, they could even tuck the brackets they earned into the pockets.
Hi! This was such a great tutorial and I am a new subbie. I am making this project now and i was wondering what the dimensions of the decorative papers are that you used to cover each flap/mini page? How did you decide on the dimensions for them?
Mariposa Thanks! I always cut my patterned paper 1/4 inch smaller than the flaps and pages. For example if the flap is 3-1/4x4-1/4 I would cut the patterned paper at 3x4
Love the finish design! but maybe Ive just been away from crafting too long. But did you use the black cardstock just for the tutorial purposes? I saw you cut the folder but why? if you were going to use black cardstock all along. I'm sure I'm missing the very obvious but for now Im very confused. Do you at some point connect the file folder and the black? Thanks for your time and channel
Amanda Harden In the tutorial I used a black file folder. Since I am moving I had already packed up the box of file folders so I was unable to demonstrate how to cut it using a black file folder so I had to substitute with a regular file folder. The regular file folder was only used to demonstrate how to cut your file folder down to start the project. I then switched to the black file folder that I had previously cut. Again, the use of the regular file folder was to demonstrate how to cut down the file folder.
Love this one! Also love it when you do a tutorial and not just a share. Your tutes are so clear and easy to follow. Where do you get your black file folders? Are they heavier than the manilla ones? Also whatkind of black cardstock do you use? Mine always cracks when I score on the fold lines!
Scrappylilresa Mine is 4-3/4 x5. I made it this size because that was the size of the blue cardstock that was left. You can make it whatever size you want, as long as it will fit inside the pocket.
Leighann Taylor At the beginning of the tutorial I show you how I cut the folder to get the pieces for the base. I did use some solid cardstock for the waterfall and small center page. The base, pocket and flip out all came from the file folder.
Ok im ready to see old school, cuz these files (electronic) are like ugh. And download this file its like wheres your creativity? Or im i wrong. (I left a comment back with a explanation, so sorry for the confusion.)
Sandra Miranda What??? This tutorial does not involve any electronic files or downloading? I used a simple office file folder along with some cardstock to create this mini album? Which is what I shared in the tutorial. When I said old school that meant since I was in the middle of moving my tools, like my scoreboard, were packed up so I had to use a bone folder and a ruler. I’m at a total loss with this comment.
@@mysistersscrapper oh no no not you, i live your album! I was referring to other crafters that using svg files to create their projects. Sorry if you misunderstood my comment, my mother once said who can understand you lol. Thank you for your tutorials xxx
Lovely all the crafters out there are awesome, thanks for sharing to everyone

My Sisters Scrapper ahh! Gotcha. That makes way more sense! Thanks for your time
What is the name of your big trimmer. Love this album.
Leighann Taylor it’s a Rototrim
New to this and would like to know what kind of ruler you are using? Thank you!
C A It’s a centering ruler by Tim Holtz. You can purchase it online or at Michaels, Joanns, or Hobby lobby
Love this one! Also love it when you do a tutorial and not just a share. Your tutes are so clear and easy to follow. Where do you get your black file folders? Are they heavier than the manilla ones? Also whatkind of black cardstock do you use? Mine always cracks when I score on the fold lines!
Marilyn McLeod I purchased my file folders from Amazon.com. The brand is Smead. I use the 65 lb cardstock from Michaels for pages and pockets.
what are the measurements for the tag you used in the pocket on the back page?
Scrappylilresa Mine is 4-3/4 x5. I made it this size because that was the size of the blue cardstock that was left. You can make it whatever size you want, as long as it will fit inside the pocket.
I have a question? Are you going working on a matt or something else?
Country Princess I work on a table. The wood grain background is photography backdrop paper that I use for filming my videos.
Where do you buy magnets? Tx.
kypokey I get them from countrycraftcreations.com
Do you ever use digital scrapbook paper packs in projects like this? If so, where can you get the sheets printed out for you to use?
bastet469 I don’t use digital paper packs.
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. If I do find the answer would you like me to let you know?
bastet469 I’m not a big fan of digital papers.
How did you get this all out of one file folder?
Leighann Taylor At the beginning of the tutorial I show you how I cut the folder to get the pieces for the base. I did use some solid cardstock for the waterfall and small center page. The base, pocket and flip out all came from the file folder.
