I have a set of old 1200 mk2s is it worth selling these and buying the new 1200mk7s?

If your MK2's are working properly I wouldn't sell to upgrade. The 7's are bang on for mixing but they won't handle the bass of a club scenario because they are made light. They have no problem if they are used in a home environment. MK2's working properly, you are ahead.
