Barry Island Pleasure Park | Summer 2023 | Featuring Aerospace and Top Scan!

- Join us for our first visit to Barry Island Pleasure Park, where we ride the incredible Aerospace and Top Scan!
This is out 2nd Henry Danter park for us this year, as head to South Wales to see what this park has to offer. for Summer 2023. Featured in this vlog is a full walk tour of the 2023 season, as well as plenty of on ride POVs, including the UKs only Speed 32, Aerospace... and the incredibly powerful Top Scan ride. Theo also takes on a few new rides, including the Gravitron ride.
Located on Barry Island Seafront, parking is available at many P&D locations. We used their own for £6 all day. This is a token based fair. most rides are 3 tokens and tokens are £1. Should you buy larger bundles, they then work out less per ride as you get free tokens based on the value.

The Orbiter in Barry is the Ex Darren Mathews owner is Tuson Evans snr Gravitron and old twist is Simon Steele Matterhorn is Nathaniel and Amanda Holmes Richards.Another great vlog .you should try Neath September fair and Bridgwater in September both Great fairs.

shame you didn't do those old Lang Wheels Jets at 2:45, they are around 50 years old! Typhoon was cool, thats an 80s Tivoli Orbiter, they don't make them anymore, replaced by the Extreme, shame I live the opposite end of the country otherwise I'd visit Barry Island. Henry Danter has a great selection of rides!

There are also rides on the promanade down by the beach including a coaster that Theo may have liked . Not sure if you saw them .

Orbiters are being built still. They’re very popular in the USA, they took delivery of 2 brand new ones last year. They are slightly more modified than the older ones but still the same traditional shape seats!

Great vlog dude. Barry island is our closest park and I love it. Hell raiser isn't worth it though. Was gutted as expected to go a lot faster. The top spin was insane. Do believe the park is way too cheap for the amount of awesome rides there. Will always have a soft spot for the place.
Thank you. Yeah, it has some great value there, so it should attract plenty of people. After watching the Matterhorn, it didn't really pick up, so nothing lost there I guess

@@PTVlogsUK won't be up for a week or so yet, the parts and the ride have arrived, but as it's making a debut it has to go through a lot of testing before being cleared to operate, with red devil last year I Believe this was done off site, and therefore red devil could be built and operated within a day, the top scan will be different 😒 looking at videos it looks like a really good machine though, I believe this year it's a "replacement" for red devil, which will go to Nottingham then Hull in October, then at the end of October top scan will sit in storage until Christmas, where it will go to the Trafford center for Christmas, which is my local fair 😁 although i will be going tir prince for top scan soon 🤣

I used to freak people out in the Gravitron by turning completely upside down when it got up to speed!
Nice to see a few rides back but Barry Island used to have a bigger and more vibrant amusement park years ago with much bigger rollercoasters

I rode Kaisers Skater Top Scan in Germany a few weeks back and was in disbelief at how fast it was really caught me off guard. Would love to see how this one compares.

@@danielledewitt1 obviously not if there was an issue with it , that's common sense, but if it was due to staff levels he would have got someone there to open it for them . I've seen it done before when 1person has been operating a couple of rides .

The way you sit and the say you are held in... Extremes can go higher too
@@PTVlogsUK ah cheers. When I come across one or the other I can’t tell visually even if I’m stood close to the barrier around the ride while it’s not running.
Where can I find the height restrictions for the rides?
I don't think they are listed. Top Scan and Aerospace are 1.4m... Orbiter 1.37m most other rides are then 1.2m I think

Must say aerospace is a lovely machine but the people/person operating it are miserable as anything! And also come across as if they couldn’t be bothered even working there. And look a bit too young to be operating such a big ride.
