His Mother, my great grandma, was 103 and same. My darling husband of 35 years went home to Heaven 6 months ago. I'm so happy he's with Jesus now, where there is no pain, no sadness. No evil. But God still has things for you thtee...and me to do. This song is sad for me now as a dear friend of ours lost his wife of 22 years. She just walked out on him without a clue...was having an affair. He is numb and in shock. This song has been going thru my head since I learned of our friend's betrayal. Say a prayer for him. With most of the comments being from old people, and I’m here, in my very early thirties, enjoying this song like something I had known since forever with any memories it might hold, (first time hearing was this year), I’m more and more convinced that I’m truly an old soul and I never left the old time I was born because I do enjoy these songs way more than the songs from my generation.
