lol @ 10:03 you lifted the rubber off the Teflon, right after saying "...no matter how hard I try." And then you press the rubber back down. What went wrong?
I thought I saw that too but upon second look it was an illusion due to the irregular shape (not symmetrical) of the rubber, it didn’t actually lift up.
I mean, if it DID lift up, wouldn’t they just refilm it...? Idk
@@TylrVncnt I took a second look and used the comma and period keys to single frame through it. In my optical illusion I see the rubber lift up. The whole thing is just funny. I'm fairly sure this stuff works fine. I personally use Parson Adhesives Parafix 3770 Surface Prep which works great on most 'slippery plastics' like Teflon and polyethylene.
looking for away to use Teflon on my crossbow rails eliminating the use of rail lube. I do use a Teflon silicone based lube but if I never had to use any it would be cool

The process is about bonding the two materials back together. It is no longer two pieces resting on top of one another. I do understand your hesitation. Many have felt that way. At first.
...well it was impressive that the Teflon apeared to have stuck to itself and to the wood... also , it's possible that the adhesive didn't cover the whole surface of the rubber, and caused the obvious failure in the demo. Was looking for an adhesive to bond mylar to stainless steel on some printer equipment ...the bond also has to be resistant to a solvent that seems to be something like kerosene .
