Nice loadout. Like you, I also used to be hooked on nicotine, as well as alcohol and drugs. I didn't need AA or anything other than God to get off of all of that. By the grace of God, I have not even had a desire for a cigarette, alcohol, pot, coke or anything else for over 20 years now. When God takes care of a problem, he really takes care of it. Love your attitude, man! Great walk through of your rig. Just bought one of these Condor's, and it is built really well, especially for the money. Glad you are getting off the dip... I have literally seen rotted jaws and cheeks from guys using the stuff. Your kids and wife will appreciate it! Thanks for the video, lots more ideas for my own setup.
Condor is good gear for light wear or duty. If you wear it for extended periods in harsh conditions it fades terribly and unevenly. It frays a lot too and eventually looks like a cat scratching post. For light wear, it’s great for the price.
Cheap and effective that's my gig, I worked OCONUS for years most of my guys where HSLD I was duck tape and zip ties, last couple of deployments I had condor gear and no regrets matter of fact I had a condor fleece jacket that held up better then a TAD gear jacket. Condor makes decent gear. Great for workingman's budget. Thanks for your insights and experience. I have all sorts of gear, from surplus to inexpensive. Some is put aside as handouts.
I have a A2 buttstock on one of my ARs, but that thing was super wobbly, so I put a little tape around my buffer tube and now......thing is solid. I feel pretty good about it.

Bear, your vid brought back some memories, and I had a comment to share. One thing I added to my blow out kit was unscented feminine pads and especially the bullet type ones. Believe it or not I saw a bullet type device plug a hole better and faster than a pressure bandage and a pound standard squares, with QC. Plus, they are cheap, individually wrapped, sanitary, and easy to pack.
FYI - I am picking up my first Condor MOPC tomorrow along with a bunch of their accessories. I decided on going with Condor because after your video review on them and seeing their prices It was had to choose any other brand. I only have $300 to spend on my MOPC and plates but I was able to stay within the budget. Thanks for product reviews and opinions. Condor should be getting you a referral bonus.
Looks like a decent set up, I still use my old LBE I got years ago overseas. I wouldn't mind "upgrading" but I have other stuff needing my attention. I agree on the "natural" snuff, tried that many years ago and just ended up quitting cold turkey. lol
fumasterchu12 yeah the natural stuff sucks, but trying to break the habit. No nicotine in almost a year so... as for the chest rig, I feel you. I have some old deuce gear as well and I like it. I got this chest rig to fill a specific need (long Range bug out) and I’ve been pleasantly surprised.

I debated long and hard about this and a plate carrier. Tbh I came to the conclusion that something like this that allows me to carry a shitload of stuff is more an important than a carrier that's gonna way me down, and I still have to carry all the stuff I need. It boiled down to being more mobile allows me to be more effective. Plus it's kinda morbid but my family ain't wearing body armor so why would I wanna be the only one protected? I can protect them better by being able to move and defend them. I also use it for milsim airsoft. Ya it's a game but I train by carrying everything I would in a shtf situation and it let's me train by using the same optics(I know people give me shit for using a real steel optic), chest rig with magazines and stuff. It's the weight and familiarity that could very well help me survive when I really need to
I have had this same discussion with a number of people, Condor gear is not "battle ready", it's made in China, and yes you would be wise to carry extra clips, snaps and replacements for the plastic stuff just in case. Now, having said all that, the quality of this stuff is good enough for just about anything you will put it through in your training, adventure trips, survival exploits and general all around playing like a little kid in the woods with more expensive toys. Yes, I said, it's good enough. No, it isn't perfect but it's not intended to be perfect. I have any number of Condor products and in the ten years I have owned mine I have had one clip fail and one attachment point break. I repaired both of them in just a couple minutes. I use to use surplus 781 gear and it was great but it wasn't made for the things I do in the civilian world or for hunting. The other great thing is price. With the Condor Gear, I can afford to have a couple different chest rigs set up for whatever I might need and not have to spend time switching stuff out and hoping I don't forget something. I can grab my overnight setup, add a couple things and I'm set. Cold weather gear, set up for the extra clothing I'll be wearing. If it's a day hike, all set, if it's a week long bivouac then I'm good to go. Keep a battle belt set up with all the thing I will need for quick access to and my chest rig had thing I can get to by taking the chest rig off, but because my battle belt is till on I'm still armed and I'm never caught with my pants down. No, it ain't "battle ready" but you ain't in a real battle yet, and should that time come, there will be plenty of real gear to pick up along the way. Remember, if you die first, we're splitting up your gear.

Bear. Very helpful video I never have been into armor because food weapons, medical supplies and the occasional Angora bunny sweater have been what I have spent my money on. You said something in a video that caught my attention. Bullets fly both ways. So I'm lacking in the armor department.
Hey, thanks, man. I was looking for a smallish pack to add to my webgear, yeah old school, and the HCB2 looks like just what I want. Doesn't cost an arm and a leg either so that's a plus.
Uh where are you wearing all this gear ??? I lived in the Ozarks and in a small town. We all had a simple 30.06 scoped. We all can reload and grow a lot of our food.
My experience with condor has been even though they aren't constantly being sucked off by the big tactical shooter and mover TH-camrs is that plenty of guys are running around in shitty parts of the world with condor gear on doing hard work. My condor setup with hydroharness is solidly built double stitched, and the only thing I don't like is lack of dedicated setup for a tourniquet
Great Video on set up and better yet you got to thinking about my rig. I will be doing a inventory and restocking of some things. Love the channel and will be watching and learning more thanks for all the great information
I'm a fan of the Mayflower chest rig but I'm not bear sized. I bought that very same Condor Chest rig to try something new and when it arrived it was WAY to big. Even after I adjusted it as small as I could. I'm 5'9" 180lbs...
Questions do you run plate with chest rig? I run similar rig with my 870 load out. Have been thinking about running it lower with a small plate carrier or conceal carrier. What are your thoughts? I'm not getting any faster as I get older.
Somewhere around 10:00 you said something about the Gerber suspension, I’d like to say it has been a GOOD multi tool. Not great, but good. I have had mine for a couple years and it’s actually the one I edc because I got tired of losing expensive leathermans. However, I would not say it’s what I would keep in my kit, and it’s not. A leatherman supertool would be the one for me, and it is. I think the suspension is a little lackluster to use in the field, or anything other than just edc when gear isn’t critical to your survival (usually, not talking about something you’re defending your life with, it’s just a fucking multitool) and of it breaks, you swing by Wally World on the way home and grab another. The supertool has tools that I’ve found myself using, and not being cluttered by shit I don’t. I don’t need a bottle opener, I don’t need scissors, I need a select amount of tools and I need those tools to work when I need them. The supertool does this and I’m certain it’s not going to fail. However in my edc, I might use a bottle opener. I might occasionally use a pair of scissors. And if it gets lost or broken, it’s 30 bucks to replace. It’s a bit more convenient, and although the quality isn’t as nice, if 30 bucks was all you had, you’re in pretty good hands
It’s good to carry some meds for diarrhea. You can die in three days from diarrhea because of dehydration. You can’t be tacticool if you shit yourself to death.
Do you have a helmet, or just run a soft cover? I’ve been looking but holy hell their pricey! And thank you for sharing your gear. You’re giving me ideas on possible upgrades. Looked at Condors stuff for years but wasn’t sure if it was combat worthy or air soft crap. I run old Vietnam area Alice gear. Dirt cheap but tuff as nails! I know I’m not a “true/cool” operator but what I have can get it done! Great videos, thanks brother!👍🏻🍻
looks like got it covered. Same here PJF turned me on 2 u. I like all I have vid i have watched so far good info. nice to see gear and to se what other use. take care.
Im confused.....if you are running a minuteman set up with a duffle with you, what is the point of having a chest rig when you can have a plate carrier with some gear on it as part of your minuteman bag?

I’m not sure if you’ve spoken about this before but did you have retention issues with the sheath on that Gerber Knife?
It’s good to carry some meds for diarrhea. You can die in three days from diarrhea because of dehydration. You can’t be tacticool if you shit yourself to death.
The greatest killer of soldiers most often than is diseases such as dysentery, flu and cholera.
Great videos, thanks brother!👍🏻🍻
get a used MICH off of ebay, i got mine for 150$

Nice blow out kit... running a similar setup with emt pouch
Do you by chance keep Tampons in your IFAK?
Hello brother what rings did you use for the vortex? Great stuff your doing greatly appreciated.
Im confused.....if you are running a minuteman set up with a duffle with you, what is the point of having a chest rig when you can have a plate carrier with some gear on it as part of your minuteman bag?
Great content
Were you in the military?
Nice vid. Can you tell me what sheath you use for your RAT3 knife?
Excellent video! How much does this setup weigh? Do you have safety glasses in any of your rigs?
