This is most beautiful world in game, that ever was created. There is no year, which i wont install this game, only to visit this world for just a little longer, and to listen to this amazing soundtrack. My best memories are coming from playing Gothic 3, this game is pure magic

Thanks for this video. I know there is many people who already said that, but this game was, is something else. Even the flaws and bugs was good in it, I remembered a time when I played this as a child it was so beautiful and scary at the same time. You wanted to explore it but feared it as well, what will happen if you run into a demon or anything. It is funny to think back and sad too. I always wandered how can peoples create such a beautiful world so detailed and alive, yet somehow many times we don't even recognise the same things in the real world as in this games. When was the last time, I stop on the road in reality just because I wanted to take a closer look on the grass by the roadside? I don't remember, but now I feel I can watch this dancing virtual grass all day. :'D
Having gothic 2 before it is really what shine its flaws .... If it was a standalone game would be so much better ... But when we compare it to gothic 2 it really doesn't stand a chance
Yeah dude I feel like growing up with videogames and especially gothic teached me to appreciate nature and my surroundings. often I just stop on my way and watch the trees, listen to the birds or feel the wind. We are living in a magic place but people tend to ignore it and thats what makes me sad

@@kareemkamal757 I mean that's not wrong, but once you accept that Gothic 3 just isn't that you can appreciate it for it's own strength, even if overall it might not stack up to the predecessors. Walking through Myrtana to this music is magical.

And gothic 1, 2 and 3 are games i play through like every other year... when im done with them i just cant wait to start them again, i get so much enjoyment out of those its like visiting the town you grew up in, but it didnt change over the years... its beautifull

Today after all the rpgs i ever saw i still think that Gothic 1 2 Morrowind Fallout New Vegas and Planescape are the best rpgs ever made.
I even played gothic 1 and 2 mods that completely made those games far better. One run on Gothic 2 returning balance can be long like 300 hours for the first playthrough and i'm not kidding.
Gothic 3 has too many bugs and I feared the game was unplayable.
I still think the game is far too easy and with lots of exploits and this blocks me to play it.
But hands down gothic 3 is the most romantic game of the three games and has the best soundtracks of the entire saga.
I'm amazed listening In My Dreams and i can't understand why this game has no romance. Maybe the nameless hero is gay after all and fucks xardas, i don't mind at all, it's still a good game

Finishing Gothic 3 you have sadness and regret that such a beautiful adventure had to come to an end and that this is the end of our adventures together with Nameless :( and we won't find out what's next for our hero.

I don't know if the developers intended it, but they have created a game and a world that has the power to unite the people who played and love the series, FOREVER.
Every year we replay Gothic because we love it and we keep chasing that feeling.

My favourite was the desert, just loved it. Nordmar was annoying to travel trough, but the atmosphere was top tier, you can practicaly feel the chill winds howling, snow crunching and the beatiful haunting music.. loved skyrim, loved oblivion, but Gothic is something near and dear to my heart.
Games like these with this special mood will never be released again.

Ich kann mich noch an der Tag erinnern als ich es gekauft habe mit meiner Mama. Vom Soundtrack bekomme ich Gänsehaut. Ich weiß nicht wie oft meine Safegames einfach weg waren oder wie oft sich mein PC beim teleportieren aufgehongen hat. Das wundervollste Spiel der Welt für mich. Wir haben uns oft mit den PCs getroffen und die ganze Nacht G3 gespielt.

Где-то в 2007-8 годах я играл в варкрафт3 в кастомку карт. И там была 1 рпг карта. И в ней играла на повторе именно эта мелодия в начале ролика..боже, как же я давно искал ее..спустя столько лет..в рекомендациях выходит это...ностальгия...
It was christmas of 2011. The money was tight and my parents told me that we’ll have to cut short on Gifts. I got this game, it was like 5€ back then. They knew I liked g1 and g2, I finally had a pc that could run it smoothly and it was finally patched up. I wasn’t counting on much, but God if it wasn’t one of the best gifts I’ve ever gotten.
Same here. Best game of all times, followed by Gothic 1. I never encountered any flaws but maybe that's because I tend to play games only around 12 months after they came out. I must've bought it around 3 times by now. On disc, as Gold edition and on Steam. Not even Skyrim has what Gothic 3 evokes with ease.

This game's atmosphere, world and music connects so well, I'll never forget this game for what it is, it inspired a new genera of games of exploring the world's mysteries and ost's for every region, there's many now, but this one I consider it to be the most memorable I've ever played.

Absolute masterpiece ! I have all 3 Gothic games installed, never deleting those.
Gothic is love! Replaying all of them right now, G1 already in the books, halfway through G2 now. Can't wait for G3, even with it flaws I have so many great memories from my childhood. (G1 and G2 running great on Steam Deck with some minor tweaks by the way).
Gothic.... best ever! Third part was/ is the cherry on the cake.
We all love vista point, but exploring myrtana hits deeper. Also ruinfields.

played gothic 2 first after seeing a small review in a gaming magazine, then bought gothic 1. then in 2006 i bought gothic 3 even though my computer literally couldnt run it. great games. been replaying gothic 3 over the past week now.

Above Gotha castle tower or Cape Dun tower we can hear on repeat a bit different version of Divine Powers. It kind of makes me think of music from Lord of the Rings :) And you're so right, there's so much magic in this game. Sorry for the fans of previous Gothics, but they weren't so special like this one.
Devine Powers it's one of the best soundtracks of this masterpiece. At 12:38 you can hear the reference from the all gothic saga, like gothic 2 orc attack. I fuckin love the composer. Is just a genius.

I rate witcher 3 as 1 in game sounds but gothic 3 nr 2. it was rly buggy at release (atleast this greedy publisher went bankrupt) and this pigs was fucking hardcore endbosses. But after all those pstches, its such a underrated game. The 3 different scenarios feel so unique, snow, desert and forest, they all just felt right.

Not a perfect game or a perfect series, but they had amazing atmosphere and quite immersive world, and soundtrack played a huge part in that regard.

I never played Gothic but I watched a Video from a TH-camr where the Soundtrack at 26:25 played in the background and I found it pretty nice.
Great job - thank you for putting it together. I just finished G3 once more, and you video cures my nostalgia to start again :). After all these years I still enjoy just wandering in the game. Despite it's flaws, this is a timeless piece.

Man, my rig still can't run Gothic 3 without stuttering. With that said, it still is my favorite RPG of all time - the buggy mess and all. It has by far the most beautiful video game soundtrack ever(IMO).
I think these performance limitations stem from the code and engine themselves, so sadly a rig that can run the game stutter free will likely never ever exist :(
@@_Winfried_ That's why I am praying for a proper remake sometime. I think this is one of the most overlooked games in history of gaming and it is a really, really deep RPG once you get past the quirks.
